Note:
The operating manual is part of this product. It includes important instructions for the safe, proper and economic operation of the product, for avoiding danger, for minimising repair costs and downtimes and for increasing the reliability and extending the service life of the product. In addition to the safety instructions in this operating manual, you must also observe the regulations applicable to the operation of the product in your country.
Familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions before using the product. Only operate the product as described and for the specified areas of application. Keep the operating manual in a good place and hand over all documents when passing the product on to third parties.

4. Proper use
The air nail gun is a compressed air-operated tool for a variety of uses.
This product is used to drive countersunk nails and staples into wood and similar materials. Only use the nails or staples that are explained under the item "Technical data" or shown on the information plate on the magazine. Other driven-in driven-in fasteners may not be used.
Likewise, use on hard materials such as stone, metal, etc. is not permitted.
Note!
Hose inside diameters that are too small and hose lines that are too long lead to a loss of performance on the product.
The product may only be used in the intended manner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user/operator, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages or injuries of any type resulting from this.
An element of the intended use is also the observance of the safety instructions, as well as the assembly instructions and operating information in the operating manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the product must be familiar with the manual and must be informed about potential dangers.
In addition, the applicable accident prevention regulations must be strictly observed.
Other general occupational health and safety-related rules and regulations must be observed.
The liability of the manufacturer and resulting damages are excluded in the event of modifications of the product.
The product may only be operated with original parts and original accessories from the manufacturer.
The safety, operating and maintenance specifications of the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions specified in the technical data, must be observed.
Please note that our products were not designed with the intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes. We assume no guarantee if the product is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent work.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or incorrect operation.
5. Safety instructions
WARNING
Read all safety information and instructions. Failure to adhere to safety information and instructions can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
General safety rules
- Keep your fingers away from the trigger when you are not using this product and alternating from one working position to another.
- Read and understand the safety instructions before connecting, disconnecting, charging, using or servicing the product, alternating accessories or working near the product. Failure to do so may result in serious physical injury.
- Keep all parts of the body, such as hands, legs, etc., away from the direction of firing and ensure that the driven-in fastener cannot penetrate parts of the body.
- When using the product, be aware that the driven-in fastener could bounce off, causing injury.
- Secure the product in a firm grip and prepare for recoil.
- Only technically trained users should use the driving-in device.
- Do not make any changes to the driving-in device. Changes may reduce the efficiency of the security measures and increase the risk for the user and/or third parties.
• Information on products intended for use on hard surfaces such as steel and concrete regarding additional contact forces required to operate the product and avoidance of the risk of slipping.
- Do not throw away the operation manual.
- Do not use a product if it has been damaged.
- Be careful when handling driven-in fasteners, especially when loading and unloading, as the driven-in fasteners have sharp points that could cause injury.
• Always investigate the product for defective, incorrectly connected or worn parts before use.
- Do not lean too far forward. Use only on a secure workplace. Always make sure you have a firm footing and keep your balance at all times.
- Keep third parties away (if you are working in an environment where through traffic of people is likely). Mark your work area clearly.
- Never aim the product at yourself or others.
- Only wear gloves that provide a suitable feel and secure operation of the trigger and all adjustment devices.
Hazards due to flying objects
- The driving-in device must not be connected when unloading driven-in fasteners, making adjustments, clearing blockages or replacing accessories.
- During operation, make sure that the driven-in fasteners always penetrate the material properly and are not deflected or misplaced towards the user and/or third parties.
- During operation, fragments may be ejected from the workpiece or from the fastening or magazine system.
• Always wear shock-resistant eye protection with side shields while operating the product. - The risk to others must be assessed by the user.
- Be careful with products without workpiece contact, as they can trip unintentionally and injure the user and/or third parties.
- Ensure that the product is always securely seated on the workpiece and cannot slip away.
Operational hazards
- Hold the product properly to be able to react to normal or sudden movements, such as recoil.
- Keep a firm footing and keep your balance at all times.
- Use suitable body protection equipment for your personal protection, such as hearing and eye protection.
Wearing personal protective equipment, such as dust masks, anti-slip safety shoes, safety helmet or hearing protection, depending on the type and use of the driving-in device, reduces the risk of injuries.
- When working, hold the driving-in device in such a way that the head and body cannot be injured in the event of a possible recoil due to a power supply incident or hard spots in the workpiece.
- Never trigger the driving-in device into empty space. In this way, you avoid hazards from free-flying driven-in fasteners and overstressing of the product.
- When transporting, disconnect the power tool from the compressed air supply, especially when using ladders or moving in an unaccustomed position.
- At the workplace, only carry the single-action tool by the handle and not with the trigger actuated.
- Pay attention to the workplace conditions. Driven-in fasteners can potentially penetrate thin workpieces or slide off workpieces when working on corners and edges, thereby endangering persons.
Hazards due to repetitive movements
When using the product for long periods of time, the user may experience discomfort in the following areas hands, arms, shoulders, the neck or other parts of the body.
- When using the driving-in device for long periods of time, the user may experience discomfort in the hands, arms, shoulders, neck or other parts of the body.
- When using the product, the user should maintain a comfortable posture, taking care to stand securely and avoiding awkward postures or those where it is difficult to maintain balance. The user should change posture in the course of prolonged work, which can be helpful in avoiding discomfort and fatigue.
- If the user experiences symptoms such as persistent or recurring discomfort, pain, palpitations, aching spots, tingling, numbness, burning sensation or stiffness, these warning signs should not be ignored. The user must consult a qualified occupational health professional regarding general activities.
Hazards due to accessories and consumables
- Disconnect the product from the compressed air supply before changing accessories or making adjustments.
- Only use accessories and consumables of the sizes and types recommended by the manufacturer of the air nail gun.
Hazards in the workplace
- Slips, trips and falls are major causes of workplace accidents. Pay attention to slippery surfaces caused by the use of the product and also to tripping hazards caused by the air pressure hose.
- Extra caution should be exercised in unknown environments. There may be hidden hazards, such as electrical cables or other supply lines.
- This product is not intended for use in hazardous areas and is not insulated against contact with electrical energy.
- Ensure that there are no electrical cables, gas pipes, etc. that could cause a hazard if damaged by the product.
Hazards due to dust and exhaust gases
- If the product is used in an area where static dust is present, it may swirl up the dust, causing a hazard.
- The air nail gun shall be operated and maintained in accordance with the recommendations contained in this manual to minimise the release of dust and vapours.
- The exhaust air must be discharged in such a way that the whirling up of dust in a dust-filled environment is reduced to a minimum.
- All installation/accessory parts of the product intended to collect, extract or suppress flying dust or vapours should be used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not breathe in the exhaust air. Avoid getting the exhaust air in your eyes.
- The exhaust air from the product may contain water, oil, metal particles or impurities from the compressor. This can cause damage to health.
Hazards due to noise
- Exposure to high levels of noise without protection can cause permanent disabilities, hearing loss and other problems such as tinnitus (ringing, buzzing, whistling or humming in the ears).
- Use hearing protection equipment as required by occupational health and safety regulations.
- The product shall be operated and maintained as recommended in these instructions to prevent an unnecessary increase in noise level.
Hazards due to vibrations
- Exposure to vibrations can cause nerve paralysis and interruption of blood supply to hands and arms.
- Wear warm clothes when working in cold conditions and keep your hands warm and dry.
- If you experience numbness, tingling, pain or whitening of the skin on your fingers or hands, you should seek medical advice from a qualified occupational physician regarding general activities.
- Use and maintain the product as recommended in this manual to prevent an unnecessary increase in vibration level.
- Hold the product with a light but secure grip, as the risk from vibrations is generally greater when the gripping force is higher.
Additional safety instructions for compressed air-operated products:
• Compressed air can cause serious injuries.
• Always close the air supply and disconnect the product from the air supply when it is not in use.
• Always disconnect the product from the compressed air supply before switching accessories, making adjustments and/or repairs and when moving from one work area to another.
- Keep fingers away from the trigger when the product is not in use and when moving from one operating position to another.
- Never direct compressed air at yourself or anyone else
- Flared hose lines can cause serious injuries. Always check for damaged or loose hoses or connections.
- Never carry a compressed air-operated product by its hose.
- Never pull a compressed air-operated product by its hose.
- Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure when using compressed air-operated products.
- Compressed air powered products should only be operated by compressed air at the lowest possible pressure for the working process in order to reduce noise and vibration and to minimise wear and tear.
- The use of oxygen or flammable gases for operation of compressed air-operated products creates a fire and explosion hazard.
• Take care when using compressed air-operated products as the product may become cold, affecting grip and control.
Supplementary safety instructions for air nail guns
- Danger of injury! Never exceed the maximum permissible working pressure of 8 bar. Use a pressure reducer to set the working pressure.
- Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Disorganised and unlit work areas can result in accidents.
- Keep children and other people away while using the driving-in device. Distractions may cause you to lose control of the product.
• Always remain attentive, pay attention to what you are doing and be sensible when working with a driving-in device. - Do not use a driving-in device while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of carelessness when using the driving-in device can result in serious injuries.
- Disconnect the product from the compressed air source before repair and maintenance work as well as before transport.
Additional notes for compressed air-operated driving-in devices
- Danger of injury! Do not operate the product if the release safety catch is defective or has been removed. Otherwise, injuries may result.
- When disconnecting the hose coupling, hold the hose firmly in your hand to avoid injuries caused by a hose recoiling.
- Be sure to use a 14 " threaded nipple and a quick coupling for the compressed air supply. Otherwise, the staples/nails are shot out very slowly or with little pressure.
- The compressed air-operated driving-in device may only be connected to cables where it is ensured that the maximum permitted pressure is prevented from being exceeded by more than 10%, e.g. by means of a pressure control valve (pressure reducer) installed in the compressed air cable with a downstream or built-in pressure relief valve.
Triggering device & triggering system
- This driving-in device is triggered by pressing the trigger with the finger. In addition, certain driving-in products must be equipped with a release safety catch which only enables a driving-in operation when the muzzle of the product is placed on a workpiece. These products are marked with a triangle on the top and must not be used without an effective release safety catch.
- The product must not be used from scaffolds or ladders. It must not be used for certain applications, for example: when changing from one driving-in point to another via scaffolding, stairs, ladders or ladder-like constructions, such as roof battens, or when closing crates or crates, when attaching transport retainers, e.g. on vehicles and wagons.
Store the safety instructions safely.
Residual risks
Even when this tool is operated properly, residual risks still remain. The following hazards may arise in connection with the design and construction of this product:
- Danger of crushing!
- Danger of injury due to driven-in fasteners.
- Hearing damage if suitable hearing protection is not worn.
- Damage to health resulting from hand/arm vibration if the product is not properly operated and maintained.

Connect to a compressed air source via a maintenance unit with filter pressure reducer and mist lubricator.
Note:
Wear the required protective clothing, especially safety goggles, when working with the air nail gun.
7. Unpacking
- Open the packaging and carefully remove the product.
- Remove the packaging material, as well as the packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
- Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
- Check the product and accessory parts for transport damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must be informed immediately. Later claims will not be recognised.
- If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the warranty period.
- Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the operating instructions before using for the first time.
- With accessories as well as wearing parts and replacement parts use only original parts. Spare parts can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
- When ordering please provide our article number as well as type and year of manufacture for the product.
⚠ WARNING!
The product and the packaging material are not children's toys! Do not let children play with plastic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of choking or suffocating!
8. Before commissioning
NOTE: Always put on the safety goggles provided before starting up the machine. Remove the protective film from the safety goggles before using them for the first time.
8.1 Connect compressed air source
NOTE: The air nail gun may only be operated with cleaned, oil-misted compressed air and must not exceed the maximum working pressure of 8.3 bar at the product. The compressor must be equipped with a pressure reducer to regulate the working pressure.
Connect the product to a suitable compressed air source:
-
To do this, press the quick coupling of the compressed air hose (not included in the scope of delivery) onto the 14 (4) threaded nipple of the air nail gun. The locking mechanism is automatic.

Connect the other end of the compressed air hose to the (filter) pressure reducer on the compressor.
8.2 Loading the magazine
-
Press the magazine lever (5) and pull back the magazine cover to the end stop.
-
Insert the appropriate driving-in material (nails, see Fig. A or staples, see Fig. B) into the magazine (6). The staples must be placed on the spar of the magazine (6).

Slide the magazine cover forward until it clicks into place.
9. Operation
- Load the magazine (6) of the air nail gun as described in the chapter "Loading the magazine".
- Set the correct working pressure on the compressor using the pressure reducer.
- Ensure that the maximum working pressure of 8.3 bar on the product is not exceeded. Excessive working pressure does not improve performance, but only increases compressed air consumption and accelerates wear.
- Switch the compressor on.
- Run the compressor once until the maximum boiler pressure has been reached and the product switches off.
- Place the air nail gun on the workpiece and press the trigger (2). NOTE: The air nail gun is equipped with a release safety catch (8). The driving-in material does not leave the product until the muzzle of the air nail gun is tripped against the workpiece and the trigger (2) is actuated.
- Turn the exhaust air aperture (1), to let the air flow out to the desired direction.
- Disconnect the product from the compressor after completing your work.
Removing jammed staples
If a staple/nail gets stuck in the magazine shaft, remove the compressed air supply line immediately.

Open the magazine (6) as described in the chapter "Loading the magazine".

Open the front plate (10) by pulling the front plate quick clamp lever (11) towards the release catch (8).
-
Remove the jammed driving-in material.
-
Close the front plate (10) by pulling the front plate quick clamp lever (11) towards the exhaust air cover (1).
-
Close the magazine (6) of the air nail gun as described in the chapter "Loading the magazine".
10. Maintenance and care
Attention: Disconnect the product from the compressed air supply before carrying out maintenance and cleaning work.
Compliance with the maintenance notes specified here ensures a long service life and trouble-free operation for this quality product.
Before starting work, always check that the magazine (6) is firmly seated. Clean the product thoroughly and immediately after work.
Regular lubrication is a prerequisite for your product to function properly over the long term. Only use the oil included in the scope of delivery for this purpose.
If the compressed air universal tool is out of operation for several days, you must put 5-10 droplets of oil into the compressed air supply before switching it on.
Only store your compressed air tool in dry rooms.
There are two lubrication options:
via a misting lubricator
A complete maintenance unit includes a mist lubricator and is attached to the compressor.

If your system has neither a maintenance unit nor a line lubricator, 3-5 droplets of oil must be added to the compressed air supply before each start-up of the compressed air universal tool.
Other maintenance
The interior of the product has no further internal parts that require maintenance.
11. Repair & ordering spare parts
After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safety-related parts are installed and are in perfect condition.
All parts which may cause injury must be kept where they are inaccessible to children or others.
Attention: According to the German Product Liability Act, no liability is accepted for damage caused by improper repairs or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer service centre or an authorised specialist. The same applies to accessory parts.
11.1 Service information
With this product, it is necessary to note that the following parts are subject to natural or usage-related wear, or that the following parts are required as consumables.

12. Cleaning
Air nail gun
- Do not use sharp objects to clean the product. No liquids must be allowed to enter the interior of the product. Otherwise, the product can be damaged.

Clean the product regularly, preferably always immediately after finishing work.

Clean the housing with a dry cloth - never use petrol, solvents or cleaners that attack plastic.
• After each use, pack the air nail gun in the carrying case provided to protect it against soiling.
13. Disposal and recycling
Notes for packaging



The packaging materials are recyclable. Please dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
