Tips

  • Only use fresh drinking water for espresso preparation.
  • Dispose of the coffee grounds after each brewing process. Do not use the same coffee grounds for a new brewing process because the aroma is not preserved.
  • Use only cold milk in a cold cup for frothering, as this leaves more time because the milk must not get hotter than 60°C. At higher temperatures, the protein of the milk coagulates and it can therefore no longer froth. Do not froth the milk a second time, otherwise it will scorch. Note that temperature, freshness and fat content of the milk influence the quality of the foam.

  • Hold your hand on the bottom of the cup to better assess the temperature.
    • Always keep the device clean and clean it after every use (see Cleaning and care).
