Diagram of a car with checklist and checkmarks, showing unknown status indicators and a question mark in the center.- All Giordani products have been carefully designed and tested for your child’s safety and comfort.
Only use Giordani-sold or approved accessories. Using other accessories may be dangerous. - You are responsible for the safety of your child at all times. Please read these instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with the product before using it.
• Always keep the instructions for future reference; there is a storage section on the child seat. - The TITANO i-Size is intended for car use only.
- Do not use second-hand products of unknown history. Some parts could be broken, torn or missing.
- Do not use any load-bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked in the child restraint.
- Replace the TITANO i-Size following any violent stresses in an accident. Otherwise, it won’t provide the best safety for your child.
WARNING:
- Do not modify the child seat, as this could lead to unsafe situations.
The TITANO i-Size car seat in the car:
- Before buying this product ensure the child seat is compatible with
the vehicle in which you intend to use it.
- Consult the list of cars suitable for the car seat's correct installation on the website https://giordanibaby.com/manuali/
- Before using the ISOFIX anchorage system, it is IMPERATIVE to read the vehicle instruction manual before installing your child car seat.
- In the 76-105cm range, with the child seat facing forwards, ensure every time you change the angle that the child seat is firmly attached to the car seat (no slackness). If necessary, re-tighten the Isofix anchorage points.
- Make sure the fold-down rear seat is locked into position.
- Ensure that any luggage and other objects liable to cause injuries in a collision are properly secure.
- Make sure the straps holding the car seat to the vehicle are tight.
WARNING:
- Warning: When the child seat is installed on the front passenger seat, deactivate the front passenger airbag if your child is sitting in a rearward-facing position.
Baby in the TITANO i-Size car seat:
- Never leave your child unattended.
- For your safety and that of your child, always place them in the child seat and fasten them in, however short the journey.
- Use the TITANO i-Size only on a front-facing seat fitted with an automatic or static three-point belt approved under the ECE R16 standard or similar. Do NOT use a two-point belt.
• After placing the child in the child seat, ensure the harness is sufficiently tight by pulling the belt. Before every use, make sure the harness is not damaged or twisted.
- Ensure you can fit only one finger between the harnesses and your child (1cm). If the space is greater than 1 cm, tighten the harness belt further.
- Check to make sure the headrest is adjusted to the proper height.
- Ensure the straps under the stomach are as low as possible to support the pelvis properly.
- Do not use the child restraint device without the cover.
- Do not replace the seat cover with anything other than the manufacturer's recommended one because it will directly impact the functioning of the car seat.
- The temperature inside a vehicle may be very high, particularly after a long period of exposure to the sun. We strongly recommend, under such conditions, to cover the car seat with a piece of
material or something equivalent to prevent the harness fixings, particularly the metal parts, from overheating and burning the child.
ATTENTION:
When using ISOFIX, fitting clips for lower anchorage to the vehicle are insufficient. The ISOFIX anchors are designed for safe and easy fitting of the child safety systems inside the car. Not all cars have these anchors, although they are standard on more recent models. Consult the list of cars on which the car seat can be installed correctly on the website https://giordanibaby.com/manuali/
- In forward-facing position, the seat must be placed on the car's rear seat or, exceptionally, on the front seat according to local legislation (In France: Decree n° 91-1321 du 27-12-1991).
- Warning: when installing the car seat, spaces between the base of the car seat and the vehicle seat may appear depending on the position of the anchorage within the vehicle.
- The rigid parts and the plastic sections of a child restraint device should be positioned and installed so they cannot when the vehicle is used under normal conditions, become trapped under a moving seat or in the vehicle door.
- Never modify the construction or the materials of the car seat and the seat belt without consulting

the manufacturer.
- This child restraint is only effective if the usage instructions are respected.
• Always fasten the child restraint even when they are not sitting in it. - Never place heavy objects on the rear parcel shelf so they don't act as projectiles in an accident.
• Always check that no part of the seat or the harness is trapped under a seat or in the vehicle door. - If in any doubt about the system's correct installation or use, the user is advised to contact the distributor or the manufacturer of the child restraining device system.
CARE
- Keep the car seat clean. Do not use aggressive detergents.
Insert:
- The insert included in your TITANO i-Size seat plays an integral part in the restraint system's effectiveness for your child. It can be removed and the cover taken off for washing, but you must put it back where it belongs and only use this official TITANO i-Size insert. This insert is exclusively for use with the TITANO i-Size seat.
Fabric:
- The cover and groin pad can be removed for washing. If the cover
needs to be replaced at any time, only use an official Giordani cover because it is integral to the performance of the restraint.
- The shoulder pads can be washed with a damp cloth.
- Before cleaning, check the label sewn into the various parts of the fabric. You will find the washing instruction symbols for each item.
Shell:
- Clean the shell using a damp cloth.
Environment:
- Keep all plastic packaging materials out of your child's reach to avoid the danger of suffocation. For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, please dispose of it in the proper waste facilities as per local legislation.
WARNINGS
- WARNING! BEFORE USE, REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL PLASTIC BAGS AND PACKAGING MATERIALS AND KEEP THEM OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN IT IS RECOMMENDED TO DISPOSE OF THESE ITEMS AT AN APPROPRIATE WASTE SORTING COLLECTION POINT, AS REQUIRED BY REGULATIONS IN FORCE.
- WARNING! If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or excessively worn, it must be replaced as its original safety features may have been compromised. Make sure

there are no protruding elements that could cause damage to the child or to the vehicle upholstery: in this case, do not use the child seat or contact the manufacturer if in doubt.
- The metal parts and plastic parts of the safety seat must be fastened by referring to the manual, which ensures that the safety seat does not get caught on the vehicle seat or in the door.
- Any straps securing the child restraint system to the vehicle should be tight and adjusted to fit the child's body, and should not be twisted.
- The lap belt must be worn low, so that the pelvis is firmly secured.
- The safety seat must not be used after it has been involved in an accident.
- It is dangerous to make any alterations or additions to the safety seat without the manufacturer's approval. The installation instructions provided by the manufacturer of the child restraint system must be followed closely to ensure the child's safety.
- The safety seat should be kept out of direct sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child's skin.
- Please do not leave your child unattended in the child restraint system.
• Any luggage or other objects liable
to cause injuries in the event of a collision must be properly secured.
• a: The child restraint must not be used without the cover.
- b: The seat cover should not be replaced with a seat cover other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, since it is an integral part of the child restraint system.
- The instructions for the child restraint system should be kept for as long as the safety seat is in use.
- Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked on the child restraint system.
- The rigid elements and plastic parts of the child restraint system must be positioned and installed so that they do not get caught in the vehicle seat or door during everyday use of the vehicle.

- Safe driving is the best way to protect children; child safety seats can protect children effectively, but they cannot completely prevent the harmful consequences of car accidents.
- Please make sure to use the correct type of safety seat with the appropriate application method, as indicated in the instruction manual of the child restraint system.

- Otherwise, the child’s safety could be at risk.
- The child safety seat must not be positioned anywhere near an active airbag, as this could result in your child being injured in the event of an accident.
- If there is any risk of interference between the adult safety-belt buckle and the main load bearing contact points on the restraint system, it must not be used. If in doubt about this point, the user is advised to contact the manufacturer of the child restraint system.
- Do not use the safety seat in the forward facing position before the child is 15 months old and has reached a height of 76 cm.
- The safety seat must not be installed in the rearward facing position onto a vehicle seat fitted with an airbag.
- Keep the instruction manual for future reference.
