This ECRS system is suitable for seat belts compliant with the ECE R16 requirement and is not suitable for models only equipped with two-point seat belts.

A It can only be installed in this position with a three-point seat belt.

The child safety seat cannot be installed in this position if the airbag has been deployed.

NOTICE

Notice regarding Universal Belted seat category Enhanced Child Restraint Systems (40-105 cm). This is a Universal Belted Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129 for use primarily in ‘Universal seating positions’ as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle user’s manual. If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer. DO NOT USE REARWARD FACING ECRS IN SEATING POSITIONS WHERE THERE IS AN ACTIVE FRONTAL AIRBAG INSTALLED.

INSTALLATION WITH ADULT SAFETY BELT (40-105 cm)

1. Rearward Facing: Child height 40 cm-105 cm Child weight ≤ 18 kg;

Recline the seat as far back as it will go.

1. Place the child seat rearward facing in the installation position.

2. Unlock the harness and lift up the inner cushion.

3. Pull out the seat belt completely.

4. Pass the seat belt through the seat as shown.

5. Put the inner cushion back in place.

6. Insert the metal tongue of the car seat belt into the car seat buckle until you hear it click into place.

7. Pull the belt tightly.

8. Use the belt clip to clip it beside the buckle.

9. Make sure that all straps are securely fastened by moving the seat back and forth.

10. Tips: before using the safety seat, make sure it is properly installed. The webbing must not be twisted.

USING A FIVE-POINT HARNESS TO SECURE YOUR CHILD

1. While pressing the harness adjustment button, pull out the two shoulder harnesses of the child restraint completely.

2. Place your child in the child restraint system and pass both arms through the harnesses.

3. Important: the left and right bolts of the five-point safety seat buckle must be fitted first.

4. Engage the buckle as shown in the pictures.

5. It is not possible to lock in place only one side of the five-point safety seat buckle.

6. Make sure the buckle is properly fastened.

7. Pull the retractor belt as tight as possible.

8. You should be able to put two fingers between the child and the shoulder harness.

9. Press the red button to disengage the buckle.

IMPORTANT - The style of the buckle may vary depending on the model.

ATTENTION:

- If the seat belt is too loose, child safety may be affected.

RECLINE ADJUSTMENT

1. Find the adjustment lever and pull it up to adjust the position.

2. Rearward Facing:

Child height 40 cm-105 cm

Child weight ≤ 18 kg;

The safety seat can only be fitted in one position for rearward-facing installation.

FIVE-POINT HARNESS ADJUSTMENT

1. Press the harness adjustment button.

WARNING - Adjust the harness accord- ing to the child's current position, ensur- ing that it is not twisted.

While pressing the harness adjust - ment button, pull out the two shoulder harnesses of the child restraint completely.

1. To tighten

Pull down the adjustment webbing and adjust it to the correct length to make sure your child is snugly secured.

HEADREST ADJUSTMENT

1. Pull the headrest adjustment handle.

2. Raise or lower the headrest to the correct height for your child.

3. Make sure that the harness is level with your child's shoulders. Otherwise, move the shoulder strap up or down to the correct slot.

A_No-Too Low

B_No-Too High

C_Yes-Correct

1. For easier positioning of the child in the seat, insert the belts in the elastic straps on the sides, as shown in figure 29.

REMOVING THE FABRIC COVER FROM THE SEAT

1. Press the red button to disengage the buckle.

2. Remove the inner liner.

3. Remove the buckle pad and conceal it in the buckle hole on the seat base.

4. Raise the back cushion under the headrest.

5. Pull upwards to take the shoulder pad out of the hole.

6. Pull downwards to take the shoulder pad out. Lower the fabric cover of the headrest.

7. Remove the fabric cover from the headrest.

8. Remove the fabric cover from all seats. Seat fabric cover fitted: to assemble the soft goods, repeat the steps above in reverse order.

WARNING - The child restraint system (safety seat) cannot be used without the fabric cover.

MAINTENANCE

SAFETY SEAT MAINTENANCE

After removing the foam from the infant insert, please keep it in a safe place where your child cannot access it.

- Wash the soft goods in cold water below 30 °C.

- Do not iron the soft goods.

- Do not bleach or dry clean the soft goods.

- Do not use undiluted neutral detergents, petrol or other organic solvents to wash the child restraint. It may cause damage to the child restraint.

- When drying the soft goods, do not

twist them too hard, as this may cause creases.

- Please hang the soft goods to dry in the shade.

WARNING The child restraint system (safety seat) cannot be used without fabric cover.

CHILD SEAT SAFETY

Please always check that the seat parts are complete and that the seat is in good condition to reduce the risk of accidents. In case of prolonged non-use, remove the child restraint from the vehicle seat. Put the child restraint in the shade, in a safe place where your child cannot access it. Please do not leave the seat in a cold or hot and humid environment for long periods of time. Keep the instructions carefully for future reference.

POST-ACCIDENT TREATMENT

In the event of a violent collision and accident, please replace it with a new seat. If you have any other questions, please contact the distributor or manufacturer.

- WARNING! BEFORE USE, REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL PLASTIC BAGS AND PACKAGING MATERIALS AND KEEP THEM OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN IT IS RECOMMENDED TO DISPOSE OF THESE ITEMS AT AN APPROPRIATE WASTE SORTING COLLECTION POINT, AS REQUIRED

BY REGULATIONS IN FORCE.

- WARNING! If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or excessively worn, it must be replaced as its original safety features may have been compromised. Make sure there are no protruding elements that could cause damage to the child or to the vehicle upholstery: in this case, do not use the child seat or contact the manufacturer if in doubt.

- IMPORTANT!

Please carefully read and make sure you understand all instructions in this manual and in the vehicle owner's manual related to child safety seats. Install and use the child safety seat as described in the instruction manual. Otherwise, your child could suffer serious injury or death. Keep the instructions together with the ECRS for future reference.

- Ensure that the straps holding the restraint system to the vehicle are securely tightened. Any straps restraining the child should be adjusted to the child's body. Make sure that the straps are not twisted.

• Make sure the lap strap is worn low, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged to prevent the child from falling out of the safety seat.

• Make sure that the ECRS is replaced if it has been subjected to violent stress in an accident.

• Make sure that the rigid elements and plastic parts of an ECRS are positioned and installed in such

a way that there is no risk of being trapped by a moving seat or vehicle door during daily vehicle use.

• DO NOT make any alterations or additions to the ECRS without the approval of the Type Approval Authority. It is also dangerous not to follow the instructions for installation provided by the manufacturer of the ECRS.
• HOT! If the child seat is not provided with a textile cover, it should be kept out of direct sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child's skin.
• DO NOT leave your child unattended in this restraint system for a short period of time.
• Ensure that any luggage and other objects liable to cause injuries in a collision are properly secure.
  A) DO NOT use the ECRS system without the cover B) DO NOT replace the seat cover with a seat cover other than the one recommended by the manufacturer because it constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.
• DO NOT use the ECRS if the adult safety belt buckle is not positioned correctly with respect to the main load-bearing contact points on the restraint system. If in doubt about this point, please contact the manufacturer.
• DO NOT use any load-bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked in the ERCS. If in doubt about this point, please contact the manufacturer.
