Frequently Asked Questions - 233696 Arktic

How to adjust the temperature?
Press the SET button to enter adjustment mode. Use the + and - buttons to set the desired temperature (between 2°C and 8°C). Press SET again to confirm. The internal temperature will be displayed after a few seconds.
What to do if the refrigerator does not cool enough?
Check that the door is properly closed and the gasket is in good condition. Ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked and the appliance is not exposed to sunlight or near a heat source. Reduce the amount of food if necessary. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
How to clean the interior and exterior?
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a soft damp cloth with a little neutral detergent. Never use a steam cleaner or immerse the appliance. Shelves can be washed with soapy water, but not in the dishwasher.
Why is there condensation on the glass door?
Condensation may appear on the glass door in high ambient humidity or if the door is frequently opened. An external air duct is provided to drain condensation water. Check that the duct is not blocked.
What to do if the defrost light stays on?
The defrost LED lights up during automatic defrost operation. Normally it turns off after the operation. If it stays on permanently, it may indicate a malfunction. Contact a qualified technician.
Can I store hot food inside?
No. Food must be pre-cooled before placing in the refrigerator. Placing hot food causes excessive condensation and may damage the appliance.
The refrigerator makes an unusual noise, is this normal?
A slight noise from refrigerant circulation and compressor operation is normal. If the noise is excessive, check that the appliance is level and not touching the wall or other objects. Loose parts inside may also cause noise.
How to replace the interior light?
Unplug the appliance. Remove the two screws from the lamp cover. Replace the old fluorescent tube with a new one of the same type (11W, 220-240V~50Hz). Reassemble the cover. If unsure, contact a professional.
What is the warranty and how to use it?
The appliance is warranted for 1 year against any malfunction, subject to use and maintenance in accordance with the instructions. To claim the warranty, contact your dealer with proof of purchase (receipt).
Can I use an extension cord?
It is not recommended to use an extension cord. Plug the appliance directly into a dedicated, properly earthed wall socket. Using an extension cord may cause overheating or fire risk.
