How to turn the WL 1000 lamp on and off?

Press the control button to turn on/off. Hold it down for about one second to switch between floodlight (Flood) and spotlight (Spot) modes.

How to adjust the brightness levels?

In Flood mode, press briefly to cycle through Low, Medium, and High levels. In Spot mode, Low and High levels are available.

How to activate the red light?

The red light (steady or flashing) is an additional mode. Refer to the complete manual for the exact sequence.

How to charge the battery?

Use a USB-C cable and a power adapter (not included). Charging time is approximately 4 hours. The indicator flashes during charging and turns off when done.

What to do if the battery is low?

The operation indicator flashes when the battery is low. Recharge the device using the USB-C cable. Charging can be done during use.

Can the lamp be used on a tripod?

Yes, the base has a standard 1/4-inch thread for mounting on a camera tripod or other support.

How to attach the lamp to a metal surface?

The mounting bracket includes powerful magnets. Attach it to any ferromagnetic surface. Beware of magnetic fields: keep a distance of at least 30 cm from medical implants.

What safety precautions should be taken?

Do not look directly at the light source (risk of glare). Magnets can damage magnetic cards and hard drives. Observe safety distances.

How to clean the device?

Use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning products, solvents, or abrasive sponges. Store in a dry, clean place.

Intended use

The product is intended for illuminating work areas. The work lamp has a floodlight with three light levels, red light and flashing red light, and a spot light with two light levels. To change the operating mode between flood light and spot light, the operating button must be held down for about one second. The light head can be swivelled by 180°. The suspension bracket is equipped with magnets for attaching to metal surfaces. A 1/4" thread is available for fixing to tripods. The device is charged via the USB-C interface.

General safety instructions

• The device must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose and within the scope of the specifications.
• The appliance and its accessories are not toys for children.
• Modifications or changes to the device are not permitted, this will otherwise invalidate the approval and safety specifications.
• Handle discharged batteries with care. Battery packs are a source of danger as they can cause very high short-circuit currents. Even if Li-Ion battery packs appear to be in a discharged state, they never discharge completely.
• Avoid physical impacts.
• Impacts, force and penetration of objects can damage the batteries. This can lead to leakage, heat and smoke generation, ignition or explosion.
• A short circuit between the battery pack electrodes may result in burns or fire.
• Protect the battery pack from heat as well as permanent sunlight and fire, e.g. do not leave it in the car in summer, as this can cause explosions.
• Charge the battery pack at ambient temperatures between -10^ and 40^ .
• Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme temperatures, moisture or significant vibration.
• The optimum charge level is between 50 % and 80 %.
• Use the mains/charger unit only inside closed rooms, do not expose to moisture or rain, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
• Fully charge the battery before using the unit.
• Charging is complete when the power indicator flashes.
• If the battery is weakly charged, the power indicator flashes.
• The battery can also be charged during operation.
• After charging, remove the charging cable and disconnect the power supply unit from the mains.

Danger - powerful magnetic fields

• Powerful magnetic fields can adversely affect persons with active medical implants (e.g. pacemaker) as well as electromechanical devices (e.g. magnetic cards, mechanical clocks, precision mechanics, hard disks).
