General safety instructions
- The device must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose and within the scope of the specifications.
- The appliance and its accessories are not toys for children.
- Modifications or changes to the device are not permitted, this will otherwise invalidate the approval and safety specifications.
- Handle discharged batteries with care. Battery packs are a source of danger as they can cause very high short-circuit currents. Even if Li-Ion battery packs appear to be in a discharged state, they never discharge completely.
- Avoid physical impacts.
- Impacts, force and penetration of objects can damage the batteries. This can lead to leakage, heat and smoke generation, ignition or explosion.
- A short circuit between the battery pack electrodes may result in burns or fire.
- Protect the battery pack from heat as well as permanent sunlight and fire, e.g. do not leave it in the car in summer, as this can cause explosions.
- Charge the battery pack at ambient temperatures between -10^ and 40^ .
- Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme temperatures, moisture or significant vibration.
- The optimum charge level is between 50 % and 80 %.
- Use the mains/charger unit only inside closed rooms, do not expose to moisture or rain, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
- Fully charge the battery before using the unit.
- Charging is complete when the power indicator flashes.
- If the battery is weakly charged, the power indicator flashes.
- The battery can also be charged during operation.
- After charging, remove the charging cable and disconnect the power supply unit from the mains.
Safety instructions
Danger - powerful magnetic fields
- Powerful magnetic fields can adversely affect persons with active medical implants (e.g. pacemaker) as well as electromechanical devices (e.g. magnetic cards, mechanical clocks, precision mechanics, hard disks).
- With regard to the effect of powerful magnetic fields on persons, the applicable national stipulations and regulations must be complied with such as BGV B11 §14 „electromagnetic fields" (occupational health and safety - electromagnetic fields) in the Federal Republic of Germany.
- To avoid interference/disruption, always keep the implant or device a safe distance of at least 30 cm away from the magnet.
Safety instructions
Dealing with electromagnetic disturbances
- The device complies with the provisions and limit values for safety and electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU and the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2014/30/EU.
- Local operating restrictions – for example, in hospitals, aircraft, petrol stations or in the vicinity of people with pacemakers – may apply. Electronic devices can potentially cause hazards or interference or be subject to hazards or interference.
Safety instructions
Using artificial, optical emission (OStrV)
- Do not look into the radiation source.
- Temporary irritating optical effects (e.g. glare, (e.g. glare, flash blindness, after-images, impairment of colour vision) cannot be completely excluded. especially at low ambient brightness.
- The unit operates with light sources of risk group RG 1 (low risk) according to the valid standards for photobiological safety.
- The light source does not pose a hazard when used as intended.
Information on maintenance and care
