How to set up the appliance before first use?

Wash the removable parts (pusher, feed chute, lid, filter, collectors, jug) with soapy water or in the dishwasher. Place the juice collector on the motor unit, insert the filter by clipping onto the shaft, put the lid on and lock the two buckles. Attach the pulp collector at the back and place the jug under the spout.

Which speed to choose for fruits and vegetables?

Use speed 1 for soft fruits (tomatoes, grapes) and speed 2 for hard fruits and vegetables (apples, carrots). A wrong choice may cause abnormal vibrations.

The appliance does not start, what to do?

Check that the plug is connected and the control knob is set to 1 or 2. Make sure the lid is properly locked with the two buckles: the appliance only works when the buckles are correctly clipped.

How to clean the filter after use?

Clean the filter immediately after use with the provided brush under running water. Avoid scouring pads. The filter can also go in the dishwasher, but handle it with care (risk of cuts).

The juice flow slows down, what to do?

Turn off the appliance and clean the feed chute and filter. If the filter is clogged, remove the residues. Also check that the pulp collector is not full.

Can I juice hard fruits or vegetables without peeling?

This appliance has a built-in safety system. To turn the juicer on, the lid (C) must be locked by the two locking clips (H). If just one of the locking clips (H) is open, the juicer will stop. At the end of the cycle, turn the control button (I) to "0" and wait for the filter to stop completely (D) before removing the lid (C). An inappropriate choice of speed can lead to abnormal vibration of the unit.

• Always check the filter (D) is not damaged before use.

• If you are using the juicer with hard fruit or vegetables, it is recommended that you use it for a quantity less than 3kg and no more than 2 minutes continuously. Some fruits and vegetables which are too hard can cause a malfunction of the device. If so, turn off the device and check that the filter (D) is correctly positioned.

Before using for the first time

• We recommend you wash the parts (A, B, C, D, E, G, L, M and N) before the first use (see cleaning).
• Unpack the appliance and place it on a stable work surface, loosen the two locking clip (H), remove the lid (C), remove the protective cardboard on the filter (D) then take out the filter (D) and the juice collector (E).

Switching it on.

• Place the juice collector (E) on the motor unit (K). (see Fig. 1)

• Place the filter (D) in the juice collector (E). Make sure the filter is properly clipped to the driving shaft (J) (you hear a "click"). (see Fig. 2)

• Place the lid (C) on the juice collector (E) (pulp outlet to the rear). (see Fig. 3)

• Fit the 2 locking clips (H) on the lid (C). Make sure the 2 locking clips are properly clipped to the lid. (see Fig. 4)
• Place the pulp collector (G) at the back of the appliance by tilting it forward slightly and then sliding it under the lid (C). (see Fig. 5)
• If you want to separate the juice from the froth, insert the froth separator (M) in the juice jug (N). Place the lid (L) on the juice jug (N). (see Fig.6a)
• Place the stainless steel grid (P) on the drip tray (Q). Place the assembled drip tray on the Motor unit in the appropriate slot.
• Place the juice jug (N) under the spout at the front of the appliance. (see Fig. 6b)
• Plug the juicer in. The cord storage (R) lets you adjust the length of the cord.

• Turn on using the control button (I) and select the required speed.
• Introduce the prepared fruit or vegetables through the feeder tube (B).

Fruits and vegetables should be introduced with the motor running.

• Slide the food pusher (A) in the feeder tube (B) by aligning the groove with the small notch on the side.

Do not push down on the food pusher too hard. Do not use any other utensil. Do NOT push with your fingers.

• When you have finished, stop the appliance using the control button (I) and wait for the filter to stop completely (D).

• When the pulp collector (G) is full or when the juice starts to flow more slowly, empty the pulp collector (G) and clean the filter (D).

• Wash fruit thoroughly before removing any hard stones or hard pips such as peaches, apricots, etc. Remove any hard stalks or stems.

• In general it is not necessary to peel the fruits or vegetables. You only need to peel the thick-skinned fruit: citrus fruit (as the pith and peel are too bitter), pineapples (remove the core and inedible thick skin), melon, guava and mangoes (remove the inedible thick skin).
• Small size of apples, pears, tomatoes, etc. go into the feeder tube in one piece and do not need to be cut beforehand. Choose the type of fruit or vegetable accordingly.
• It is difficult to extract juice from bananas, avocados, blackcurrants, figs, aubergines, strawberries and raspberries.
• Do not use the juicer for sugar cane or fruit and vegetables which are too hard or too fibrous.
• Choose fruits and vegetables which are fresh and ripe, they will give you more juice. This appliance is suitable for fruits like apples, pears, oranges, grapes, pomegranates, pineapples, etc. and vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, beetroot, celery, etc.
• If you use over-ripe fruit, the filter may get blocked up more quickly.
• Important: All juices should be drunk immediately. This is because when they come into contact with the air, they oxidize very quickly, which can affect their taste, their colour and above all their nutritional value. Apple and pear juice quickly becomes brown, so add a few drops of lemon juice to slow this process down.

Cleaning and maintenance

• All the removable parts (A, B, C, D, E, G, L, M, N, P and Q) can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
  This appliance is easier to clean if you do it immediately after use.
• Do not use scouring pads, acetone, alcohol (white spirit) etc. to clean your appliance.
• The filter must be handled with care. Avoid any improper handling which may cause damage. The filter can be cleaned with the brush (O).

Replace the filter as soon as it shows signs of wear or tear.

• Wipe the motor unit down with a damp cloth. Dry it carefully.
• Never place the motor unit under a running tap.

What do I do if my appliance doesn't work?

The product is giving off a smell or is very hot to the touch, is giving off smoke or making an abnormal noise.	The filter (D) has not been properly positioned.	Disconnect the appliance, remove the lid and reposition the filter.
	Too much food is being processed at the same time.	Leave the appliance to cool down and then reduce the quantities.
The flow of juice is slow.	The filter (D) is blocked	Turn off the appliance, clear the feeder tube (B) and the filter (D).
