Congratulations! With your purchase you have chosen a high-quality product. The operating instructions are an integral part of this product. They contain important informa- tion for safety, use and disposal. Familiarise your- self with all of the operating and safety information before using the product. In the following, the LED Light Tree is referred to as the product. There is a risk of injury! - Do not use the product in the case of malfunc- tions, damage or defects. - Significant danger can occur for the user in the case of improper repairs. - If you find a defect in the product, have the prod- uct checked and repaired if necessary before put- ting it back into operation. - The LEDs are not replaceable. If the LEDs are de- fective, the product must be disposed of. - The cable is not interchangeable. If the cable is defective, the product must be disposed of.

WARNING! Risk of injury! The product is not allowed to be manipulated! There is a risk of injury from electric shock! - The casing must not be opened and the product must not be manipulated/modified under any circumstances. Manipulations/modifications can cause danger to life from electric shock. Manipu- lations/modifications are prohibited for approval reasons (CE). - Check voltages! Make sure that the existing mains voltage corresponds to the specification on the rating place. Failure to comply can lead to excessive heat development. - Never touch the power plug with wet hands, if it is in operation. - The product must not be covered up during use. - The product must not be electrically connected to another light chain or similar. - Always unplug the power supply unit from the wall outlet before mounting, disassembling or cleaning. - Do not operate the product with an extension cord or multiple plug.

CAUTION! Risk of damage to property! - Never expose the product to high temperatures and moisture, otherwise the product may be dam- aged. - Keep the product away from fire and open flames! - Prevent mechanical stress on the product!

CAUTION! Danger of overheating! Remove packaging prior to use.

1. Remove all packaging materials.

Pay attention to the fact that the occupied area requires approx. 4 x 4 m of free space. NOTE! Leave the LED strands 12 coiled for the time being to simplify assembly.

WARNING! Risk of injury! The LED strands 12 must not be operated in the wound-up state. Danger of overheating! For safety reasons, keep the product switched off during all steps of the Assembly.

1. Insert the ground spike

5 as deep as possible into your intended spot in the ground.

CAUTION! Risk of injury! - The ground must be sufficiently firm and stable to hold the ground spike

- If the ground is too firm to press the ground spike 5 into the ground, loosen the ground slightly. - Wear suitable protective gloves when inserting the ground spike

CAUTION! Risk of damage to property! - Do not insert the ground spike 5 into the ground if the ground is frozen or if you feel a strong resis- tance. You could damage the ground spike 5 ! - Do not use a hammer or other tools when insert- ing the ground spike 5 . You could damage the ground spike 5 !

2. Place the LED star

1a on the bracket 1b on the top section 1 , see Fig. B. NOTE! The LED star 1a is connected to the top section 1 by the wiring.

3. As shown in Fig. B, connect the pole

1c of the top section and the other poles 3 using the con- nectors

4. Carefully unwind the LED strands

NOTE! Make sure that the LED strands 12 do not get tangled in each other when unwinding.

5. Carefully insert the pole assembled in step 3.

WARNING! Risk of injury! There is a risk of electric shock! The product must not be used without the sealing ring 8a properly attached to the plug 8 , see Fig. C!

2. Screw the union nut

10 clockwise onto the output socket 9 , see Fig. C. NOTE! - Make sure that the union nut 10 does not tilt and that it is firmly tightened. This is the only way that weather-proofness in accordance with IP44 can be guaranteed.

CAUTION! Risk of damage to property! - Make sure that the power supply cable 7 is nev- er crushed, kinked or damaged by sharp edges. - Make sure that the power supply cable 7 hangs loosely and is not too taut. Otherwise there is a risk of cable breakage.

CAUTION! Risk of injury! - To minimize the risk of tripping posed by a loose- ly laid power supply cable 7 , if possible, wrap the power supply cable 7 one to several times around the pole of the product before connecting the connected power supply unit 2 to a wall out- let, seeFig. F. Product switch on/off To switch on the product, plug the power supply unit 2 , which is properly connected to the power supply cable 7 , into an easily accessible and properly in- stalled wall outlet. The product is now switched on and illuminated. To switch the product off, remove the power sup- ply unit 2 from the wall outlet. The product is now switched off. Timer function (6-hour timer) The product is fitted with a timer function. If you press the timer button 11 on the power supply unit 2 , the timer function switches ON, see Fig. D. When the timer function is activated, the timer button 11 lights up green. When the timer function is activated, the product switches OFF automatically after 6 hours. After an- other 18 hours, the product will automatically switch back ON. This daily rhythm repeats as long as the timer function remains activated. By pressing the timer button 11 on the power supply unit 2 again, you switch the timer function OFF. The green LED in the timer button 11 goes out. Disassembly To disassemble the product, unplug the power sup- ply unit 2 from the wall outlet and then follow the steps listed under Assembly in reverse order.

7. Cleaning and care instructions

WARNING! Risk of injury! Before cleaning, you must unplug the power supply unit 2 from the wall outlet. There is a risk of electric shock! - only clean with a dry cloth - do not use any strong detergents and/or chemi- cals - do not immerse in water - store in a cool, dry place and protected from UV light

8. Conformity declaration

This device complies with the fundamental requirements and other relevant regula- tions of the European Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU and the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. The complete original con- formity declaration is available from the importer.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging and operating instructions are made of 100 % environmentally friendly materi- als, which you may dispose of at local recycling centres. Disposal of the product The product may not be disposed of with nor- mal household waste. For information on dis- posal options for the product, please contact your local council/municipality or your Lidl shop.

years from the purchase date. In the event of defects in this product, you are entitled to exercise your stat- utory rights against the seller of the product. These statutory rights are not limited by our warranty de- scribed in the following. Warranty conditions The warranty begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt. This document is required as verification of the purchase. If a material or manufacturing defect arises within three years from the purchase date of this product, the product will be repaired or replaced, as per our choice, at no charge to you. This warranty service re- quires the submission of the purchase receipt and the defective product within the three-year period and a short written description of the defect and when it arose. If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired or a new product will be returned to you. The war- ranty period does not restart with the repair or re- placement of the product. Guarantee period and statutory claims for defects The guarantee period will not be extended by the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Damage and defects which may possibly al- ready exist upon purchase must be reported immedi- ately after unpacking. After the guarantee period has expired, required repairs shall be subject to a charge. Scope of guarantee The device has been carefully produced under strict quality guidelines and conscientiously inspected pri- or to delivery. The guarantee service applies to mate- rial or manufacturing faults. This guarantee does not extend to product parts, which are exposed to nor- mal wear and tear and can therefore be regarded as wearing parts or to damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, battery packs or which are made of glass. This guarantee shall lapse, if the product is damages, not used properly or maintained properly. For prop- er use of the product, all of the instructions in the op- erating instructions must be precisely complied with. Purposes and actions, which are dissuaded from or warned about in the operating instructions must be avoided. The product is only intended for private and not commercial use. In the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and with interventions, which are not performed by our authorised service branch, the guarantee shall lapse.
