How do I adjust the brightness?

Briefly touch the lamp base several times to cycle through 3 brightness levels. After each touch, the lamp briefly turns off, then the next level activates.

What to do if the lamp does not work?

First check that the power plug is properly plugged in and the socket is live. If the problem persists, contact customer service at 00800/27456637.

How do I replace the bulb?

Turn off the lamp and unplug the power plug. Let the lamp cool down. Unscrew the used bulb counterclockwise. Screw in a new E27 bulb (max. 6 W) clockwise. Replug.

How do I clean the lamp?

Unplug the power plug and let it cool down. Use a dry, lint-free cloth. Never use water or solvents.

Can I use an external dimmer or electronic switch?

No, this lamp is not suitable for external dimmers or electronic switches. Only use the integrated touch dimmer.

Which bulb can I use?

Use only bulbs with E27 socket with a maximum power of 6 W. The included bulb is a 4.9 W LED adjustable to 3 levels.

Is the lamp suitable for children?

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock

Luminaire with strong conducted disturbances can cause nuisance triggering, it can be self-recovered.

Safe working

■ Position the lamp so it is protected from moisture and dirt.
■ Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense.
Do not cover the lamp with objects. Excessive heat can result in fire.
Do not look into the illuminant from a close distance during operation.
Do not use optical instruments to look at the illuminant.
In order to disconnect the light completely from the power supply, the mains plug must be removed from the socket.
Only use the light bulbs specified in the chapter "Technical data".

- Initial use

- Mounting the lamp

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Only 14135306L:

☐ Caution: The lamp glass and the ring nut 1 are pre-assembled, but are not screwed tight.
☐ Loosen the ring nut 1 from the lamp socket 3.
☐ Bring the lamp glass 2 into the correct position (see Fig. A).

Only 14135402L:

☐ Loosen the ring nut 1 from the lamp socket 3.
☐ Bring the lamp glass 2 into the correct position (see Fig. B).

All models:

☐ Screw the lamp glass 2 to the ring nut 1. Be sure they are positioned correctly.
☐ Use a clean, lint-free, dry cloth to insert the bulb 5.
☐ Screw the light bulb 5 clockwise into the lamp socket 3.
☐ Plug the mains plug 4 into a properly installed socket.

Your light is now ready to use.

- Switching the light on/off

☐ Touch the lamp base 6 to switch the lamp on or off.

Dimming the lamp

Note: The lamp is only dimmable using the light bulb 5 supplied.

☐ To dim the light bulb 5 touch the lamp base 6 multiple times in short succession.
☐ Each time the lamp base (touch dimmer) is touched, the lamp is then briefly switched off. The next dimming level then follows.

☐ If the dimmer function was interrupted for a while (approx. 10 seconds) between the separate levels, the brightest light level will always be switched on.

● Changing the light bulb

□ Switch the lamp off.

First unplug the mains plug 4 from the socket.

Allow the lamp to cool down completely.

☐ Use a clean, lint-free, dry cloth when replacing the illuminant 5.
☐ Unscrew the defective illuminant 5 from the lamp socket 3, turning counter-clockwise.
☐ Screw a new illuminant, clockwise into the lamp socket 3.
☐ Plug the mains plug 4 into a properly installed socket.

Your light is now ready to use.

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
