Frequently Asked Questions - MP 84 BEURER

How to charge the Beurer MP 84 device?
Before first use, fully charge the device for approximately 3 hours. You can charge it directly via the USB-C port on the device or via the port on the storage and charging case. Use a suitable power adapter (not included) or a computer. The 3 blue LEDs flash during charging and stay on once charged.
Which attachments to use for nail filing?
For nail filing, use the sapphire discs: the fine sapphire disc (9) for precise filing and the coarse sapphire disc (10) for shortening thick nails. The fine disc has a fixed outer surface to prevent burns.
How to change the rotation direction?
Use the sliding switch (5): push it down for left rotation (red LED) or up for right rotation (green LED). This allows you to adapt the work according to the attachment and the area to be treated.
Is the device suitable for diabetics?
Yes, but with caution. Attachments 9, 10, 11, 17 and 18 are recommended as they provide surface treatment. Attachments 12 to 16 are less suitable. Diabetics with reduced pain sensitivity should regularly check the result and consult their doctor if in doubt.
What to do if the device stops during use?
The device automatically turns off if an attachment is blocked for about 3 seconds. To restart, turn the device off briefly and then back on. Make sure the shaft rotates freely and do not force it.
How to clean the attachments?
For hygiene reasons, clean the attachments with a cloth soaked in alcohol. Do not immerse them in water. The device itself is cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, without using chemical or abrasive detergents.
What is the recommended speed for beginners?
Always start at a low speed (button -) and increase gradually if necessary. Use the + and - buttons (2) to adjust the speed. The blue LEDs (3) indicate the selected speed level.
Can I use the device in the shower or bath?
No, the device is not waterproof. Avoid any contact with water. Never use the device in the bathtub, shower, or over a sink filled with water. If water infiltrates, unplug immediately and contact customer service.
How to avoid overheating the device?
During prolonged use (e.g., callus removal), the device may heat up. Take regular breaks and check the temperature. Do not block the shaft. If the device becomes too hot, turn it off and let it cool down.
Where can I buy replacement attachments?
Replacement attachments are available under reference 110.025 (complete kit) on the website www.beurer.com or from Beurer customer service. You can also find them in some specialized stores.

5. USAGE

  1. Charge the device for approx. 3 hours before the first use. You can either charge the device directly via the USB-C connection on the device 7 or via the USB-C connection on the charging and storage case 8.
  2. Connect the USB-C connection (device)7 / (charging and storage case)8 to a suitable mains adapter (mains adapter not included in delivery) or via a device with a suitable interface.
  3. When the 3 blue charger indicator lights 3 flash continuously, it means the battery is charging. Once all 3 LEDs are permanently illuminated, the device is fully charged. One charge is sufficient for approx. 2 hours of operation.

Before using the device, please do not carry out pre-treatment in a water bath, as the callus attachments are less effective on soaked or wet skin.

  1. Make sure that the device is switched off beforehand.

  2. Select the desired attachment part and carefully press it onto the axle of the device. To remove, pull apart the attachment and the device in opposing directions.

  3. Switch on the device by moving the sliding switch 5 down (anti-clockwise rotation, LED lights up red) or up (clockwise rotation, LED lights up green).

  4. You can select the speed of the drive axle using the plus (+) and minus (-) speed control buttons ^2 . Start each application at a low speed and then increase as required. Blue LEDs light up on the speed setting display 3 depending on the selected speed.

  5. Do not press too hard and always carefully move the attachments towards the area to be treated. Move the device over the area to be treated and apply slight pressure while slowly moving the device in circles.

  6. When filing, always move from the outside of the nail towards the tip. Check the results regularly during the treatment. Stop treatment as soon as it becomes unpleasant. Do not remove all calluses to maintain natural skin protection.

  7. Ensure the axle can always rotate freely. The axle must not be permanently blocked, as otherwise the device will become too hot and may become damaged.

  8. Apply moisturiser to the treated areas after each use.

The device switches off if an attachment is prevented from moving for approx. 3 seconds during use. To restart the device, switch it briefly off and then on again.
