USER MANUAL WDB300EU HOMEDICS
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Use this appliance for the intended use as described in this booklet. DO NOT use attachments not recommended by HoMedics.
- NEVER operate the appliance if it has been damaged. Return it to the HoMedics Service Centre for examination and repair.
- Keep away from heated surfaces.
- NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
- DO NOT attempt to repair the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send to a HoMedics Service Centre. All servicing of this appliance must be performed by authorised HoMedics service personnel only. SAFETY CAUTIONS : PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE.

- Individuals with pacemakers and pregnant women should consult a doctor before using this appliance. Cactus dry brush not recommended for use by Diabetics.
- DO NOT use on an infant, invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. DO NOT use on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation.
- If you are susceptible to allergic reactions or if you have circulatory problems, consult a physician before using this product.
- Do not use on irritated, sunburned or chapped skin, or on any area with dermatological problems.
- Do not apply over skin eruptions, warts, moles or varicose veins.
- Use should be easy and painless. If you experience nail or skin irritation, or hand discomfort when using this product, discontinue use. If a more extreme reaction occurs, consult your doctor.
- This appliance should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any physical ailment that would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls or who has sensory deficiencies in the lower half of their body.
- NEVER use directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
- This is a non-professional appliance, designed for personal use and intended to provide a soothing massage to worn muscles. DO NOT use as a substitute for medical attention.
- If you feel any discomfort whilst using this appliance, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

MAINTENANCE: To Store Store attachments and unit in a safe, dry place, out of children’s reach. To Clean Never use liquids or abrasive cleaners to clean the housing of the unit. Clean attachments periodically using a mild detergent. Allow attachments to dry before inserting them into the hand unit. Care of Unit To maintain unit in good working condition, it is recommended that the appliance is switched off for 15 minutes after 10 minutes of continued use. Battery directive This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in the domestic waste as they contain substances which can be damaging to the environment and health. Please dispose of batteries in designated collection points. WEEE explanation This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling. APPLYING ATTACHMENTS
1. Switch the Wet and Dry Face and Body Brush system to the off position (0)
2. Choose one of the product’s interchangeable attachments and gently push it into
the connection pin until it locks into position with a click. (Fig 1).
3. When finished, switch unit back to the off position. Wait for the attachment to
come to a stop, then remove it for storage or to replace with an alternative attachment.
4. After using each attachment, either brush off any residue or wipe the surface of
each with a damp cloth to remove residue. Caution: When using attachments, stop treatment occasionally to monitor your results. USING YOUR WET AND DRY FACE AND BODY BRUSH The Wet and Dry Face and Body Brush comes complete with four attachments. Select the desired attachment to begin your treatment: Cactus Dry Brush – (dry use) 100% natural bristles to exfoliate and stimulate the skin (inset 1) Loofah – (wet use in shower) All over body cleansing and exfoliation (inset 2) Facial Brush – (wet use in or out of shower) Soft gentle bristles for cleansing even the most sensitive skin (inset 3) Pumice Stone – (dry use or wet use in shower) Exfoliates the heels and balls of the feet to smooth and soften skin (inset 4)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Cactus Dry Brush: to exfoliate and stimulate the skin (dry use)
1. Attach the product following the instructions above.
2. Switch the unit on (I). The attachment will start rotating.
3. Begin brushing from the soles of the feet working up the legs in long sweeping motions. You may want to
concentrate for longer on ankles, knees, elbows etc…where the skin can be drier.
4. Continue up the body over the buttocks and working in circular motions across the abdomen. You may
want to concentrate a little longer on areas prone to cellulite.
5. When brushing the upper back and chest focus the direction of the strokes towards the heart
6. Finally finish with the arms, working from the palms of the hands up the arms to the shoulder.
- It is best to carry out dry brushing before a bath or shower. It may take some time to get used to the sensation of dry brushing so start gently and don’t apply too much pressure.
- Applying too much pressure will cause the brush to stop rotating – this could reduce the life of the motor.
- Pay particular attention to the lymph nodes e.g. Groin and underarm areas.
- Apply less pressure on sensitive areas and use more firmly on areas like the soles of the feet.
- Avoid brushing anywhere the skin is broken or infected.
After dry brushing take a shower to wash away all the toxins. Dry off vigorously to further stimulate the lymphatic system and apply natural plant based oils to moisturise the skin. Loofah: for full body cleansing and exfoliation (wet use in shower)

2. Wet the loofah with warm water and apply a soap product of your choice (e.g. shower gel or soap - not

4. Exfoliate: Starting with the décolletage, gently apply the loofah attachment to the skin, moving the
rotating head across the skin working down towards the ankles.
5. You can also use the loofah on the heels and soles of the feet but be careful if standing in a slippery
6. Rinse the body with cool water to remove soap residue. The cool water will help to close the pores and
make you feel refreshed.
7. After use, turn the unit off (0). Remove the loofah attachment from the device and rinse the loofah
attachment with clean water to remove soap residue. Squeeze to remove excess water and leave to dry. Facial Brush: to cleanse the face (wet use in or out of shower)
1. Remove any eye make-up by hand before using this device. It is not designed to remove eye make-up.
2. Wet the skin with warm water.
3. Attach the product following the instructions above.
4. Wet the brush with warm water and apply a facial wash (not included) to the brush.
5. Switch the unit on (I). The attachment will start rotating.
6. Gently apply the brush to the skin working in circular motions on the face to deep cleanse the skin. Keep
the brush head square to the skin this will avoid any excess spray from the device. Please note: ensure the skin is kept damp with product / water and the unit is constantly moving in circular movements to avoid dragging the skin.
7. Concentrate for approximately 10 seconds per cheek, 20 seconds on the forehead and 20 seconds on the
nose and chin area. Please note: keep away from the delicate eye area.
8. After use, turn the unit off (0). Rinse the face with warm water and gently pat dry with a towel.
Pumice Stone: to exfoliate the heels and balls of the feet (dry use or wet use in shower) Whilst showering or after bathing/soaking the feet, the pumice stone attachment can be used to remove hard skin from the feet. Ensure the skin on the feet is soft from the water before use.
1. If using whilst showering be careful not to slip.
2. Attach the product following the instructions above.
3. Switch the unit on (I). The attachment will start rotating.
4. Apply the pumice stone to the hard skin on the heel and ball of the foot keeping the head moving. Be
careful not to rub the skin raw – only remove dead skin. If you feel any pain stop treatment.
5. If required, rinse the feet with water to clear away the dead skin and continue treatment until the skin feels
soft. Repeat on the other foot.
6. After use, turn the unit off (0). Remove the pumice attachment and rinse in clean water to remove any
dead skin. Leave to dry.
7. Rinse away dead skin from the feet for a final time and dry. Apply a small amount of foot lotion/moisturiser

- Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
- When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of battery may cause damage to the unit.
- Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones).
- If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
FITTING THE BATTERIES
1. Hold the unit in one hand. With the other hand, hold the battery cover
and press your thumb on the ‘open’ mark.
2. Pull the battery compartment down in the direction of the arrow.
3. Insert 4xAA batteries into the unit, in the direction shown inside the
unit (observe +/- polarities)
4. Slot the compartment back on to the unit so it clips in place.
5. When replacing the batteries, repeat opening process above. Once the
battery cover has been removed the batteries will fall out of the compartment. Dispose of used batteries in accordance with the WEEE directive (see page 3).
