Frequently Asked Questions - AD 7963 ADLER

How to set the timer on the Adler AD 7963 humidifier?
Press the TIMER button (B3) to set the delayed shut-off from 1 to 12 hours. Press it several times to increase the hour. The device will turn off after the set time.
How to clean the Adler AD 7963 humidifier?
Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the water tank, empty it and wash it with clean water without abrasive detergent. Wipe the inside of the base with a soft cloth. Never immerse the base. Clean at least once a week.
Can I use essential oils with this humidifier?
Yes, but only in the aroma box provided for this purpose. Open the box on the base, put 3 to 5 drops of oil on the sponge (A8). Never pour oil into the water tank.
What to do if the humidifier is not producing mist?
Check that the water tank has enough water. If the water shortage indicator (B7) lights up, add water. Make sure the descaling filter (A7) is clean and properly placed. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service.
How to replace the descaling filter?
The filter (A7) should be replaced every 1 to 2 years. Turn off and unplug the device, remove the tank, then replace the filter located in the base. Put the tank back in place.
How to set the desired humidity?
Press the HUMIDITY% button (B4) to choose a level between 45 % and 90 %. The device automatically stops when the room reaches this level and restarts if the humidity drops.
The humidifier is making noise, is this normal?
A slight dripping sound is normal at high flow. The noise level is less than 35 dB. If the noise is excessive, reduce the mist speed or check that the device is level.
How to use the remote control?
Remove the plastic tab from the remote control (A6) to activate the CR2025 battery. The remote control replicates the same functions as the LCD control panel.
Since there is water in the tank, why is the water shortage indicator lighting up?
Make sure the tank is properly positioned on the base and that the filter (A7) is in place. If the problem persists, drain and clean the tank, then try again. An air bubble may block the sensor.
What is the tank capacity and how long does it last?
The tank has a capacity of 4.3 liters. With a maximum flow rate of 310 ml/h, it can operate for about 14 hours continuously. In practice, the autonomy depends on the mist setting and the humidity level.
