Frequently Asked Questions - AD 6310 ADLER

How to clean the Adler AD 6310 fryer?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the pot and grid with a soft sponge and soapy water. Do not use abrasive products or dishwasher. For stubborn residues, apply a little cooking oil, wait a few minutes, then gently remove with a wooden spatula. The main body can be cleaned with a damp cloth then dry.
Can I wash the fryer accessories in the dishwasher?
No, it is not recommended to wash the grid and pot in the dishwasher as this could damage the non-stick coating. Wash them by hand with a soft sponge.
What is the maximum amount of food I can put in the fryer?
The maximum capacity of the pot is 3 liters. Do not exceed the MAX mark inside the pot. For even cooking, do not overload the grid and arrange food in a single layer if possible.
How to set the temperature and cooking time?
Use the temperature adjustment knob (2) to select the desired temperature (up to 200 °C). Turn the timer knob (1) to set the cooking time. The lights turn on. A beep indicates the end of the time. You can adjust settings during cooking.
What to do if the appliance does not turn on?
Check that the power cord is properly plugged into a 220-240 V grounded outlet. Make sure the pot is correctly inserted into the main body (a safety switch may prevent startup if incorrectly positioned). If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.
Is it dangerous to leave the fryer unattended?
Yes, it is recommended to never leave the appliance operating unattended. The timer turns off the appliance automatically at the end of the programmed time, but stay nearby to avoid any risk of fire or overheating.
Can I add oil to the Adler AD 6310 fryer?
This fryer is designed for oil-free cooking or with very little oil. However, you can add a thin layer of oil on the food to enhance crispiness. Do not pour oil directly into the pot.
How to eliminate plastic odors during first use?
Before first use, heat the empty appliance at 200 °C for 10 minutes. This will burn off manufacturing residues. Then let it cool and clean the pot and grid with soapy water.
What types of food can I cook in this fryer?
You can cook fries, chicken wings, fish, shrimp, steaks, sausages, vegetables, etc. Time and temperature vary depending on the food. Refer to the indicative table in the manual for examples (e.g., fries at 190 °C for 25 minutes).
How to completely turn off the appliance?
To turn off the fryer, turn the timer knob (1) to the '0' position and the temperature knob (2) to '0'. Then unplug the power cord from the outlet. Never pull on the cord.
