USING YOUR CLEANER

  1. Twist the water tank cap [E] anticlockwise and remove. [1]
  2. Fill the clean water tank [F] with normal tap water or demineralized water [2]. Do not add any chemicals, detergents or perfumes to the clean water tank.
  3. Re-fit the water tank cap [E] into the clean water tank [F] and turn it clockwise to lock it. [1]
  4. Attach the accessory most suited for the kind of surface to be cleaned. [10]
  5. Plug the mains cable [D] into a suitable earthed mains power outlet [3]. The power light will illuminate and start flashing [A]. When the light stops flashing and remains constant, the steam will be available.
  6. To deliver steam, press the steam release trigger [C].

NOTE: In order to significantly reduce mineral build-up and prolong the life of your steam mop, the use of distilled or de-mineralized water in the unit is highly recommended.

IMPORTANT: Always unplug the cleaner when adding water or changing a Textile Pad. NOTE: Wash the Textile Pad prior to use to remove any lint.

ELECTRONIC STEAM REGULATION

The steam pressure can be adjusted by moving the steam regulator [G] from lower to higher flow, depending on the cleaning application. [5]

WARNING: Before putting the product away, empty the water tank.

WARNING: Even when unplugged, the product may release steam. Therefore handle it carefully, and store out of reach of anyone who does not know how to use it.

PRECAUTIONS:

  1. For cleaning leather, wood or delicate fabrics especially dralon, velvet and other pile surfaces, consult the manufacturers instructions. Clean only by using the product at a safe distance together with a soft cloth and always do a test on a non visible part of the item first or on a sample. Allow the test area to dry completely before observing results and effects on surface or color before proceeding to clean further areas, ensuring that exactly the same distance and technique are applied as for the test area. If in doubt, and on sensitive surfaces like fabrics, leather and wood it is always better to ask for advice from your Steam Cleaner Dealer.
  2. For cleaning wood surfaces (furniture, doors, etc...) take great care as too long an application of steam could alter the waxed appearance, the shine or the color of the surface cleaned. We therefore recommend you apply steam on such surfaces only for brief periods or to clean these surfaces using a cloth first held in the steam.
  3. Please pay particular attention while cleaning brick floors, too long an application of steam could damage wax, brightness or color of these surfaces.
  4. For delicate surfaces (e.g. synthetic materials, lacquered surfaces etc...), we recommend that the small brush should always be covered with at least two cloths to reduce the intensity of the steam.
  5. If cleaning glass surfaces in particularly low temperatures pre-heat the glass using the product from about 50 centimetres distance from the surface to be cleaned.
  6. For care of your plants vaporise at a minimum distance of 50 centimetres.
  7. The product may be used on its own, without attaching the brushes, for specific cleaning tasks requiring steam to be applied from a short distance, which will vary according to the kind of material and the type of soiling to be removed. The more difficult the soil is to remove, the closer you must hold the product to it, because the temperature and pressure are higher closer to the steam outlet. In all cases, after applying steam, wipe the surface with a dry cloth or with a scouring cloth if the soil is more difficult to remove.

REFILLING THE EMPTY TANK

Whenever the water finishes, unplug the cleaner before adding water.

  1. Remove the water tank cap by turning anti clockwise. [1]
  2. Fill the measuring jug with normal tap water or demineralised water.
  3. Fill the water tank with water. [2]
  4. Replace the cap by turning clockwise to lock it.

Plug in the cleaner, then proceed with steaming.

NOTE: In order to significantly reduce mineral build-up and prolong the life of your steam cleaner, the use of distilled or de-mineralized water in the unit is highly recommended.

ELECTRONIC STEAM CLEANER

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

1. For cleaning delicate surfaces such as fabrics, leather, and other sensitive materials, follow the manufacturer's instructions. Also, test the device on a small, inconspicuous area first. Before cleaning the entire surface, allow the test area to dry completely, then check the result. If in doubt about cleaning sensitive surfaces such as fabrics, leather, or wood, always test on a small area first. 2. When cleaning wooden surfaces (furniture, doors, etc.), exercise special caution, as prolonged exposure to steam may alter their appearance, such as causing gloss or matte finishes to change. Therefore, we recommend using steam on such surfaces only for short periods and testing on a hidden area first. 3. Pay special attention to cleaning painted surfaces: excessive steam may soften the paint, leading to peeling or discoloration. 4. On delicate surfaces (e.g., synthetic materials, coated surfaces, etc.), we recommend using a microfiber cloth or a suitable attachment to reduce the steam intensity. 5. When cleaning glass surfaces at low ambient temperatures, preheat the glass, keep the device at a distance of 50 cm. 6. When caring for plants, direct the steam jet at a distance of at least 50 cm. 7. Use the device with the special brush attachments for cleaning tasks that require steam at short distances, depending on the material type and degree of soiling. The harder the dirt is to remove, the closer the device should be to the surface, as the temperature and pressure are always higher at the outlet. In all cases of stubborn dirt, apply steam, then wipe the surface with a dry cloth or brush.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

If the water in the tank has run out, turn off the device and unplug it before refilling. 1. Remove the tank cap by turning it counterclockwise. [1] 2. Fill the measuring cup with ordinary tap water or demineralized water. 3. Fill the tank with water. [2] 4. Screw the cap back on by turning it clockwise. Insert the plug into the socket and continue steam cleaning.

NOTE: To significantly reduce mineral scale buildup and extend the service life of the steam generator, use distilled or demineralized water.

CAUTION: Inspect the steam hose gasket before each use. If the gasket is missing or damaged, contact an authorized service center.

The device can be used with various additional accessories depending on the specific cleaning task.
