COMPOSITION SENSOR Step 1 Fill the water tank (maximum 2.5 l), close the valve tightly, then set it on the base. Step 2 Plug in to a wall socket, press the ON button, then select the desired quantity of vapour using the +/- buttons. Step 3 Your Hygro+ humidifi er is ready! It’s already producing pure and cool vapour throughout the entire room. • Instructions for use You must take some important precautions each time you use an electrical device, especially when a child is present. Install the humidifier out of children’s reach. Read these instructions carefully before turning on the humidifier. WARNINGS

• Check that the voltage marked on the appliance’s rating plate matches that in your home.

• To prevent electrocution, never immerse the appliance, its cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

• Never use the appliance for any use other than that for which it was designed. Any other use is inappropriate and dangerous.

• If the appliance, plug or cord becomes damaged, unplug the appliance immediately and do not use it. Repairs must be made by a qualified technician.

• This appliance contains no parts for maintenance by the user. Do not disassemble it.

• Be very careful when using the humidifier when a child is present.

• Never use the humidifier without water.

• Never add detergent, chemicals or fragrances.

• Always use cold water. We recommend you use distilled water to guarantee optimal operation of the atomiser and water detector.

• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter top. Do not place on a hot surface.

• Place the humidifier on a flat and stable surface, out of direct sunlight.

• Do not place the appliance on or near hot surfaces, on a hot oven or near an electric or gas radiator.

• Never touch the transducer with your hands or a metal object. Never move the appliance when it contains water or when it is turned on.

• Do not leave water in the tank for long periods; this can lead to the proliferation of bacteria.

• Always unplug the appliance when not in use, before cleaning it or storing it.

• For domestic use only. Do not use outdoors.

If the power cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service centre or a qualified technician to prevent risk of injury.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been previously instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children must be supervised and must not be permitted to play with the appliance.

• Electric equipment is subject to a selective collection procedure. Do not throw away electrical and electronic equipment waste with the unsorted municipal refuse, but carry out a selective collection. Throughout the European Union this symbol indicates this product must not be thrown in the dustbin or mixed with domestic waste but undergo selective collection.10 Hygro+’’s humidifier function lets you adjust the humidity level in the room in which it is installed. N.B.: The recommended humidity level for your child’s bedroom is between 40 % and 50 %. MANUAL MODE - Remove the humidifier cover (1) and remove the essential oil diffuser (2). - Remove the water tank (3) from the humidifier base. - Turn over the tank and unscrew the valve (4). - Fill the tank with tap or distilled water. N.B.: cold water - maximum 2.5 l. - Close the valve (4) tightly, then turn the water tank over and set on the humidifier base. N.B.: wait a few seconds before the base of the humidifier is filled with water. The Babymoov logo on the water tank must be facing outward. - Replace the essential oil diffuser (2) in the centre of the chimney, and replace the cover (1) on the water tank. N.B.: the essential oil diffuser must be positioned point down. - Plug your Hygro+ humidifier into a wall outlet using the power cord, and press the ON button

N.B.: the amount of water in the water tank determines how long the humidifier will run. The Hygro+ humidifier is designed for 22 hours of maximum autonomy. The water level indicator turns on when there is insufficient water in the tank. HYGRO

SETTING THE HYGROMETRY LEVEL

Press auto during 3 seconds to set the automatic stop of Hygro+. - «90%» flashes. Press + /- to select the appropriate hygrometry level. - Press auto for 3 seconds to enter the setting and activate the setting. auto becomes blue. The current humidity level of the room is displayed. Your Hygro+ humidifier will automatically stop once the requested humidity level is reached. Press briefly auto to check the setting. The hygrometry level is displayed for 3 seconds. How to change the setting: - Press auto for 3 seconds. The last setting flashes on the display. - Press + /- to select a new hygrometry level. - Press auto for 3 seconds to enter and activate the new setting. . auto becomes blue. The current hygrometry level of the room is displayed. To disable the auto setting and go back to manual mode, press «ON/OFF» for 5 seconds. auto becomes white again.. SETTING THE HYGROMETRY LEVEL + REGULATOR (COUNTDOWN) In order to set the automatic stop of Hygro+, press auto for 3 seconds. - «90%» flashes. Press + /- to select the appropriate hygrometry level. - Briefly press auto : «00:00» is displayed and flashes. Press «+ /-» to set the timer with 30-minute brackets (e.g.: 00:30 / 01 :00 / 01 :30, etc.). N.B.: a longer pressure on «+/-» will help you set the timer faster. - Press auto for 3 seconds to enter and activate the new setting. auto becomes blue. The current hygrometry level of the room is displayed. Your Hygro+ humidifier will automatically stop once the requested humidity level is reached OR when the timer reaches «00:00». Press briefly auto to check the setting. The hygrometry level is displayed for 3 seconds. The timer will then appear for 3 seconds before the initial display appear. How to change the setting: - Press auto for 3 seconds. The last setting flashes on the display.11 The Hygro+ night light function has seven different colours. Press the night light button to turn on the night light. The night light changes colour each time you press the night light button

To automatically change colours (rainbow function), press the night light button for three seconds.

DIFFUSING ESSENTIAL OILS

You can also diffuse essential oils with Hygro+. Simply place a few drops of essential oil in the cup (2) and turn on the vapour function. ATTENTION: - Never pour essential oil directly into the water tank or chimney. - Consult your physician for advice on suitable essential oils depending on your child’s age. - Keep essential oils out of children’s reach. - Consult your physician immediately if swallowed. - Press + /- to select the appropriate hygrometry level. - Briefly press auto : «00:00» is displayed and flashes. Press «+ /-» to set the timer with 30-minute brackets (e.g.: 00:30 / 01 :00 / 01 :30, etc.). N.B.: a longer pressure on «+/-» will help you set the timer faster. - Press auto for 3 seconds to enter and activate the new setting. auto becomes blue. The current hygrometry level of the room is displayed. To disable the auto setting and go back to manual mode, press «ON/OFF» for 5 seconds. auto becomes white again. Hygro+’’s thermometer function lets you display the temperature in the room in which it is installed. N.B.: to switch the temperature unit (°C / °F): press for 3 seconds on «+» and «–» at the same time. The recommended temperature for your child’s bedroom is between 19 and 21 °C. THERMOMETER FUNCTION Should I add hot or boiling water to the tank to improve vapour production? No, doing so could permanently damage your humidifier. Hygro+ produces cold vapour using ultrasounds, so it does not need hot water. Add cold water or water at room temperature. Some water is left in the tank. Should I empty it? Yes. You should change the water regularly to prevent the formation of mould or the proliferation of bacteria inside the tank. When you do not plan to use the humidifier for an extended time, empty any water and let the humidifier air dry before storing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• Follow these cleaning procedures to guarantee proper and efficient operation. Good maintenance is essential for the humidifier’s long life and to prevent the proliferation of bacteria in the water, inside the water tank, or in suspension.

• Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning and wait until the base has cooled.

• Wipe the humidifier with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Allow it to air dry. Never immerse the base in water or any other liquid.

• Clean the water tank regularly with a mix of chlorine bleach and water.

• Rinse with water and allow it to air dry.

• Never use detergents to clean any parts of the humidifier intended to contain water. A cloud of detergent dissolved in the water could interfere with vapour production.

• Remove the base regularly. Pour 250 ml of pure white vinegar into the base. Let it sit for 20 minutes while you clean all the internal surfaces using a soft brush.

• Gently scrub all parts around the transducer using a soft brush. Do not press directly on the transducer. Empty the vinegar solution into the sink. Rinse with clean hot water.

• Never use cleaning agents, solvents or abrasive substances as they could damage the humidifier and its surfaces.

• Before storing, empty the water tank and any water in the base, respecting the icon indicating how to pour the water. Ensure all parts are completely dry, then loosen the plug to prevent the joint from sticking.
