IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS . READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Risk of burning! Do not touch the product's hot surfaces. Heat rises from the product during use. Caution! Hot surface!
- Do not operate the product by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the product.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep this product and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the authorised service agent in order to avoid hazards.
- The product is designed for the preparation of normal household quantities in the home, or in household-like, non-commercial environments. - Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose and with recommended accessories and components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.

- Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.
- The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.
- Only unplug from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
- Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
- Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.
- Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.

Hot surfaces and parts of this product may become very hot. Allow the product to cool down completely before it is cleaned or put away.
- Use heat-proof or wooden spatulas with the product to prevent damage to the heating plates' nonstick coating. Make sure that the spatulas used do not have any pointy or sharp edges.
- Do not place the product on hotplates (gas, electric, coal stoves, etc.).
- Risk of burning! Do not touch the product's hot surfaces. Touch the product only by its handle or temperature dial.
INTENDED USE
This product is suitable for baking waffle only. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries. The Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the product, or usage of product which does not meet the manufacturer's specified purpose.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
To remove production residue, run the product for approx. 10 minutes without foodstuffs. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation as a slight odor and some smoke may occur. This is harmless and will disappear shortly.
BAKING WAFFLE
Fig. 1 Connect the power plug to a suitable power outlet. The control lamp lights orange.
Fig. 2 Lightly grease the hotplates and then close the lid.
Fig. 3 Turn the temperature dial to desired position 2-5. Once the temperature is reached, the control lamp lights green.
Caution: Do not touch the product's hot surfaces. Heat rises from the product during use.
Fig. 4 Open the product and spread the batter evenly over the bottom hotplate and close the lid.
Fig. 5 Open the lid carefully approx. after 2 minutes and check the baking result.
Note: You can determine the degree of browning either by adjusting the temperature dial or through the baking time.
Fig. 6 Use a heat-resistant plastic, silicon or wooden spatula to take out the finished waffle.
Note: The baking result depends on consistency and mixture of batter, the chosen temperature level and personal taste.
REHEAT
Fig. 7 To reheat the cooled waffle, set the temperature dial to the position 1.
Note: Do not add batter, since the set temperature is for reheating only but not for baking.

RECIPB BASIS BATTER (FOR APPROX. 9-10 PIECES)
Ingredients:
125 g butter
100g sugar
- 8 g vanilla sugar (1 pack)
250 ml / 1/4 l milk
2 eggs
250gflour
- 7 g backing powder (1/2 pack)
According to individual taste cinnamon, cocoa powder or grated coconut can be added alternatively.
- Stir eggs, sugar and butter/margarine to a smooth dough.
- Add vanilla sugar. Stir in flour and baking powder.
- Add and stir the milk bit by bit under the dough until the dough has a smooth and soft consistency.
- For each waffle, put around 3 tablespoons of the batter onto the center of the baking plate.
Temperature setting : 5
Preheat time : approx. 2.5 minutes
Baking time : approx. 1.5 - 2 minutes
CLEANING AND CARE
- Warning! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
- Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning products and tools may scratch the surface(s).

- Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch). - Wipe the hotplates with paper towels or a soft damp cloth. If there are difficult to remove food residues, pour a little bit of edible oil on the hotplates and remove the residues after 5 minutes of exposure time.
- Keep the product in a dry, cool location which is protected against moisture and direct sunlight. Keep this product out of the reach of children under the age of 8.
