Tips for correct use to reduce the impact on the environment: Switch on the extractor at minimum speed when you start cooking and leave it running for a few minutes after cooking is finished. Increase the speed only when there is a large amount of fumes or steam, and use the boost speed only in extreme situations. Replace the grease filter(s) when necessary to maintain good filter efficiency. Clean the grease filter(s) when necessary to maintain good grease filter performance. Use the maximum diameter of the ducting system, as indicated in this manual, to optimize efficiency and minimize noise.

Use

The extractor has a specific purpose: it extracts and expels or filters the air, while at the same time it recycles it.

TEKA INTEGRA 965 - Use - 1

Extractor version

The air is expelled outside through an exhaust pipe connected to the connecting flange.

The diameter of the exhaust pipe must match the diameter of the connecting flange.

The air duct is not included in the accessories and must be purchased separately.

The accessories are equipped with an activated carbon filter, which must be replaced.

Connect the hood to the air duct and to the wall opening. The diameter of the duct pipe must correspond to the diameter of the exhaust air outlet.

Connecting to the air duct and openings with a smaller diameter reduces the suction capacity and significantly increases noise during operation.

In these cases, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility.

Use a pipe of the required length. Use a pipe with as few bends as possible (maximum bend: 90°). Do not sharply reduce the pipe cross-section!

The extracted air is prevented and must be discharged directly to the outside through an opening in the room. To use the hood in this operating mode, you must install an additional filtration system at the base of the activated carbon filter.

Installation

The minimum distance between the surface on which the cooking appliances are placed and the lowest part of the kitchen hood must be no less than 50 cm in the case of electric cookers, and no less than 50 cm in the case of gas or combined cookers.

If the instructions for the gas cooking appliance specify a greater distance, this must be respected.

TEKA INTEGRA 965 - Installation - 1

Electrical connection

The voltage in the electrical network must correspond to the voltage indicated on the label with the hood's data, placed on its inner side. If the hood is equipped with a plug, connect it to a suitable contact, in accordance with the applicable standards, and make sure it is easily accessible after installation of the motor. If it is not equipped with a plug (direct connection to the network), or if the plug is not easily accessible after installation of the motor, use a double-pole switch with a contact separation of at least 3 mm, in accordance with the installation regulations.

Attention! Before connecting the hood to the network and checking that it functions correctly, check that the cable is installed as required.

Attention! The replacement of the protective grille must be carried out by an authorized service technician to avoid any risk.

Installation

Read the instructions before installation.

Make sure that the product you purchased from us corresponds in size to the chosen installation location. Remove the filter/filter cartridge with activated carbon (disassemble it if the model you purchased has one). To do this, follow the instructions in the relevant paragraph. Install the filter cartridge only if you wish to use the aspirator in the version with filter. Make sure that during transport, no foreign objects have been placed inside the aspirator, such as screws, screws with bolts, transport cards, etc.; if you find any, remove them and dispose of them.

When installing on a wall, ceiling, or cabinet, make sure you have enough space to install the aspirator and that you have unobstructed access to the control panel.
