Return the product to your local recycling facility or contact your municipal office department for household waste or the shop where you purchased this product.
USE
The hood is designed to be used either for
exhausting or filter version.
INSTALLATION
The mains power supply must correspond to the rating indicated on the plate situated inside the hood. If provided with a plug, connect the hood to a socket in compliance with current regulations and positioned in an accessible area after installation. If it is not fitted with a plug (direct mains connection) or if the plug is not located in an accessible area after installation, apply a double pole switch in accordance with standards which assures the complete disconnection of the mains under conditions relating to over-current category III in accordance with installation instructions.

Warning! Before re-connecting the hood circuit to the mains supply and checking the efficient function, always check that the mains cable is correctly assembled.
The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking equipment on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood must be not less than 60 cm from electric cookers and 65 cm from gas or mixed cookers. If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be adhered to.
MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before performing any maintenance operation, isolate the hood from the electrical supply by switching off at the connector and removing the connector fuse. Or if the appliance has been connected through a plug and socket, then the plug must be removed from the socket.
The cooker hood should be cleaned regularly (at least with the same frequency with which you carry out maintenance of the fat filters) internally and externally. Clean using a cloth dampened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive products. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Warning! Failure to carry out the basic cleaning recommendations of the cooker hood and replacement of the filters may cause fire risks. Therefore, we recommend observing these instructions. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to the motor or any fire damage linked to inappropriate maintenance or failure to observe the above safety recommendations.
Grease filter - The grease filter must be cleaned once a month using non-aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher, which must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. When washed in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolour slightly, but this does not affect its filtering capacity.

Non-washable activated charcoal filter
The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after more or less prolonged use, depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning of the grease filter. In any case it is necessary to replace the cartridge at least every four months.
The charcoal filter may NOT be washed or regenerated.

CONTROLS
The hood is fitted with a control panel with aspiration speed selection control and a light switch to control cooking area lights.

1 ON/OFF lights 2 OFF motors 3 Minimum suction power 4 Medium suction power 5 Maximum suction power
Use the high suction speed in cases of concentrated kitchen vapours. It is recommended that the cooker hood suction is switched on for 5 minutes prior to cooking and to leave in operation during cooking and for another 15 minutes approximately after terminating cooking.
LIGHTING
Disconnect the hood from the electricity.
Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs ensure they are cooled down.
Replace the damaged lamp.
Use E14 2,5W max LED lamps only. For more details, check enclosed leaflet "ILCOS D" (alfanumeric position "1e").

SAFETY INFORMATION
Warning! Do not connect the appliance to the electricity supply until the installation is completely finished.
As far as technical measures and conditions for safety in the discharge of fumes are concerned, it is necessary to strictly follow the laws established by local authorities. The exhausted air must not be discharged into a flue used for exhaust fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. Do not use or leave the hood
without correctly installed lamps, this may lead to electric shock. Never use the hood without the correctly installed grille! The hood should never be used as a supporting surface, unless such use is specifically indicated. Use only the fixing screws supplied with the product, or if they are not included, purchase screws of the correct type. Use the correct screw length as indicated in the installation instructions. In case of doubt, contact an authorized service center or qualified personnel.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Materials with the symbol should be recycled. Dispose of the packaging in appropriate containers for recycling. By participating in the recycling of old electrical appliances, you help protect the environment and human health. Do not dispose of them with household waste
household waste, place the product at a local recycling facility or contact your local waste management authority.
OPERATION
The appliance has been manufactured for use in
extraction mode with exhaust to the outside, or in extraction mode with internal air recirculation.

INSTALLATION
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage indicated on the data plate located inside the appliance. If the hood is supplied with a plug, connect the hood to a compliant socket, which must be accessible after installation. If the hood is not supplied with a plug (direct mains connection) or if the socket is not accessible after installation, use a suitable two-pole switch that ensures complete disconnection from the mains in case of overvoltage category III, in accordance with installation instructions.

Warning! Before connecting the electrical system of the hood to the mains, check that it is functioning properly and ensure that the power cable is correctly installed.
The distance between the lower edge of the hood and the hob surface must be at least 60 cm for electric hobs, and at least 65 cm for gas or combination hobs. If the installation instructions for the gas hob specify a greater distance, follow that.
MAINTENANCE
Warning! Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the hood from the electrical supply by unplugging it or switching off the main switch of the room.
The hood must be cleaned both inside and outside (at least as often as the grease filters are maintained). For cleaning, use a special cloth moistened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive materials. Do not use alcohol!
Warning! Failure to follow the cleaning instructions for the appliance and the replacement of filters may lead to a fire risk. Therefore, we recommend following the instructions given. Any liability for possible damage to the motor or fires arising from incorrect maintenance or failure to follow the above warnings is disclaimed.
Grease filter - The filter should be washed monthly with non-abrasive detergents, by hand or in a dishwasher at low temperature and short cycle. Washing in a dishwasher may cause slight discoloration of the grease filter, but its filtering capacity remains completely unchanged.

CHARCOAL FILTER
The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after a more or less prolonged period of use, depending on the type of cooking and the frequency of grease filter cleaning. In any case, replace the cartridge at least every 4 months.
The charcoal filter cannot be washed or regenerated.

CONTROL ELEMENTS
The exhaust hood control panel is used to control the speed of the exhaust fan and the lighting for the work surface.

1 Light on/off 2 Motor off 3 Exhaust speed low,
minimum
4 Exhaust speed medium 5 Exhaust speed maximum
The intensive mode is used for the exhaust hood in case of very high concentration of kitchen vapors. We recommend turning on the exhaust hood 5 minutes before starting the cooking process and leaving it on for 15 minutes after the process is finished.
LIGHTING
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Attention! Before touching the lamps, make sure they are cool. Replace the damaged lamp.
