Ensure that your external USB device can be charged using the USB port on the battery adapter. Refer to the specifications on this in “Technical Data”. – Plug the charging cable of your USB device into the USB socket 2 on the battery adapter 1. – Press the On button 5 for activation of battery adapter. The On button 5 lights. If no charger cable is connected, the USB ports are automatically disabled after 30 seconds.The On button 5 goes out. The USB ports are disabled automatically to save power after completion of loading. Connecting The Heating Element (see figure B) – Plug the connector of the heating element in the socket 3 of the battery adapter 1. – Press the On button 5 for activation of battery adapter. The On button 5 lights. Make the setting on the Heat+ Jacket. Observe the operating instructions for Heat+ Jacket. – Slide the battery adapter 1 into the pocket provided in the garment or hang the battery adapter on your belt using the belt clip 4. Correction of Malfunctions Problem Corrective Measure External USB device cannot be charged using the USB port. Battery Charging Connect the charging cable of the external USB device to the USB socket 2 on the battery adapter
1. Activate the battery adapter 1 by pressing On
button 5. External USB device cannot be charged using the USB port on the battery adapter (refer to specifi- cations in “Technical Data”*). Heating element does not heat
Battery Charging Connect the cable of the heating element to the socket 3 on the battery adapter 1. Activate the battery adapter 1 by pressing On button 5.
