4. OPERATION
Preparing for use
This blender is designed to process small quantities of foodstuff and should not be used for any other purpose.
Before using for the first time, clean the casing of the motor with a damp cloth.
Wash the shaft and the blade in hot, soapy water; do not immerse the upper part of the shaft. Dry all the pieces thoroughly.
IMPORTANT: Before fitting or removing any of the parts of this blender, unplug it from the mains.
Operating the blender
The blender is suitable for processing light foodstuffs, such as preparing sauscs, soups, mayonnaise or purées.
Fit the accessory that you are going to use to the motor casing, turning it in an anticlockwise direction until it is properly and securely fitted.
Once the mixer base is fitted (3), plug the blender into the mains. Place the food to be processed in a suitable container and place the blender in the position shown in
Figure 2. Select the speed by turning the speed control (6). Then push the on/off switch.
NOTE: Do not use the blender with food at temperatures exceeding 100^ .
Operating the whisk
Push the whisk into the blender coupling until it locks (Fig. 4). Afterwards, connect it to the body of the blender (Fig. 5). Place the blender in the container, connect the plug to the mains and push the on/off switch to begin beating. Use the speed control to select the speed.
You may use the jug (12) or another container for whisking. The contents of the bowl can be stored using the corresponding lid.
NOTE: Do not use the whisk with food at temperatures exceeding 80^ .
Operating the chopper
The chopper may be used with dried fruits, herbs, hard-boiled eggs, dry bread, etc.
Fit the chopper blade (11) on the bowl's shaft. Place the ingredients to be chopped into the chopping bowl.
Fit the chopper lid (9) onto the bowl, turning it anticlockwise (Fig. 3).
Fit the motor body (2) onto the chopper lid (9) turning it anticlockwise until it fits firmly into place (Fig. 3).
Insert the plug into a mains socket and push the on/off switch. Use the speed control (6) to select a speed. Once you have finished chopping, make sure that you remove the blade from the bowl before emptying out the contents.
Once you have finished chopping, you can store the contents of the bowl by using the multi-purpose bowl lid (14) to seal it hermetically.
NOTE: Do not use the chopper with food at temperatures exceeding 80^ .
Wall mounting
Disconnect the blender and unplug it from the mains before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning. Wash all the accessories immediately after use in order to prolong their useful life. Take care when handling the blades, as they are very sharp and keep them out of the reach of children. The bowls (10 and 12) and the egg whisk (8) are dishwasher safe. The remaining
parts cannot be washed in the dishwasher. (Fig. 6)
Use a damp cloth to clean the surfaces of exterior parts.
NOTE: NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR CASING (2), THE CHOPPER LID (9), THE BLENDER COUPLING (7) OR THE MIXER BASE (3) IN ANY LIQUID. (Fig. 7)
Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or work surfaces or to come into contact with surfaces hot to the touch.
5. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to
a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate with a selective collection scheme, the symbol shown appears on the product warning you not to dispose of it in traditional refuse containers.
For further information, contact your local authority or the shop where you bought the product.
