ADJUSTABLE TORQUE CLUTCH This screwdriver is equipped with an adjustable torque clutch for driving different types of screws into different materials. The proper setting depends on the type of material and the size of screw you are using.
D I R E C T I O N O F R O TAT I O N S E L E C TO R
(FORWARD / REVERSE / CENTER LOCK) See Figure 3. The direction of bit rotation is reversible and is controlled by a selector located above the switch trigger. With the screwdriver held in normal operating position, the direction of rotation selector should be positioned to the left of the switch trigger for forward motion. The direction is reversed when the selector is to the right of the switch trigger.
ADJUSTING TORQUE See Figure 6.
There are twenty-four torque indicator settings located on the front of the screwdriver.
Setting the switch trigger in the OFF (center lock) position helps reduce the possibility of accidental starting when
Q Select the gear selection setting to HI or LO speed.
Q Rotate the adjusting ring to the desired setting.
For driving small screws (HI or LO speed)
For driving screws into soft material
To stop the screwdriver, release the switch trigger and allowthe collet to come to a complete stop.
For driving screws into soft and hard materials (LO speed)
NOTE: The screwdriver will not run unless the direction of rotation selector is pushed fully to the left or right.
For driving screws in hard wood (LO speed)
For driving large screws (LO speed)
CAUTION To prevent gear damage, always allow the collet to come to a complete stop before changing the direction of rotation.
The tool has an overload protection device. The tool will stop if the spindle is locked for several seconds while the trigger is on. If this happens, release the trigger, then wait for a few seconds before you resume operation. To avoid this situation, do not force the tool.
The screwdriver has a two-speed gear box designed for
LO or HI speeds. A slide switch is located on top of the screwdriver to select either LO or HI speed. When using screwdriver in the LO speed range, speed will decrease and unit will have more power and torque. When using screwdriver in the HI speed range, speed will increase and unit will have less power and torque. When drilling use 1/4 in. hex shank drill bits only. Maximum drill size is 1/4 in.
LED WORKLIGHT See Figure 7.
The screwdriver has a built-in LED worklight. This feature is convenient when working in close or tight areas where additional light is needed. Whenever the switch trigger is depressed, the LED worklight will illuminate.
Use the HI speed setting to drill holes, and use the LO speed setting for driving screws.
NOTE: The LED worklight will go off when overload protection causes the tool to stop. The light will come on again when the trigger is depressed and operation resumes.
TO LOAD/RELEASE BITS See Figure 5.
The SPEEDLOAD +™ SYSTEM on the screwdriver is a quick change chuck designed to accept any 1/4 in. hex bits. Insert the bit into the chuck and push as far as possible until the chuck locks onto the bit. To remove a bit, push rubber collar forward, and then pull the bit straight out of the chuck.

FR GARANTIE - CONDITIONS GARANTIJAS PAZI OJUMS WARNING The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a standardised test given in
EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool.
