PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The travel iron is used for ironing fabrics including clothing. Due to its small size and the possibility of folding the handle, the iron takes up very little space in the baggage. The voltage switch allows the power supply of various voltages. Proper, reliable and safe operation of the product depends on appropriate use, that is why you should:

The supplier shall not be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from improper use of the product, failure to observe the safety regulations and recommendations of this manual. Use of the product for purposes other than those for which it was intended shall cause the loss of the user's rights to the guarantee and under warranty.
ACCESSORIES
The product is supplied complete and does not require assembly. The product comes with a filling cup that allows to measure the amount of water to be poured into the iron's tank. The filling cup also makes it easier to pour water into the iron's tank.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The appliance has been designed for home use and is not allowed to be used in commercial applications.
The travel iron is not intended for regular use. It is designed for occasional ironing of small quantities of fabrics, e.g. when travelling.
The appliance heats up to a high temperature during use. Be careful when operating the appliance. Improper use of the appliance may result in serious burns and/or fire.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to a power supply.
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than ironing fabrics, e.g. for heating or defrosting. It is forbidden to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance on one's own. All repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre.
The product is not intended for use by children under at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical and mental abilities and by persons without experience in or understanding of the operation of the product. Unless they will be supervised or instructed to use the product safely, in a manner ensuring that the risks involved are understood. Children should not play with the product. Unattended children should not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of the appliance.
Keep the iron and power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age while the iron is connected to the power supply or cooling down.
Recommendations for connecting the appliance to the power supply
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency, and performance of the power supply correspond to the values shown on the appliance's rating plate. The plug must fit into the socket. It is forbidden to modify the plug or socket in any way for the purpose of fitting.
The appliance must be connected directly to a single power supply socket. The mains supply circuit shall be equipped with a protective conductor and a protective device of at least 16 A. When using extension cords, use an extension cord with three wires that can withstand a 16 A current load.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces including iron's

soleplate. During operation, the power cord must always be fully extended and the position of the power cord must be set so that it does not become an obstacle during product operation. The power cord should not be placed in a manner that would pose a risk of tripping. The power supply socket should be located in a place where it is always possible to quickly remove the product power cord plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug housing when unplugging it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and contact an authorised service centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the product with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one that is free of defects if these components are damaged.
Instructions for use
Disconnect the power cord plug from the power supply socket before filling in the iron tank with water or emptying it.
When the iron is in use, the soleplate is heated up to the high temperature and steam is generated. Contact with soleplate or steam can lead to serious burns.
The water tank cover must always be properly closed when ironing.
The iron must be used and placed on a flat and stable surface. If the iron is placed on its own base, make sure that the base is placed firmly.
Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Return a defective iron to an authorised service centre for repair before reusing it.
When using the iron, always hold the iron by the handle. Never touch the iron's soleplate.
Do not iron clothes that are on the body of the user or others. Using the iron in this way will cause serious burns. The steam outlet must never be pointed in the direction of people or animals.
Pour only clean tap water, demineralised water or distilled water into the iron tank. Do not add any substances, e.g. perfume to the water. Such use is not in accordance with the intended use and will result in damage to the iron. Do not pour any liquids other than water into the tank. Pour in and pour out water only if the iron's soleplate is completely cooled down. When pouring in water, be careful and minimise water spills. Do not place the iron directly under the tap to fill the tank in. Never immerse the iron in water or any other liquid. Use the filling cup provided to pour water into the iron's tank. Do not use water from desilters of air conditioners, dryers or similar equipment.
Never place the iron on its soleplate when it is connected to the power supply. During short breaks in ironing, the iron should be placed in a vertical position, resting it on the back wall or on a base if provided and the instructions for use permit such use of the base.
APPLIANCE OPERATION
Preparation for the first use
Remove the appliance from its packaging by removing all packaging components.
If the iron's soleplate has been secured with a protective film, remove it completely. Do not use sharp tools that could damage the surface of the soleplate.
Press and hold the handle lock button (II), then lift the handle until it locks into the upper position.
Check the setting of the voltage switch (III). The switch should be set according to the voltage of the power network applicable in the country where the iron is used.
The sound of the ratchet mechanism should be audible. The correctly raised handle cannot be lowered except by pressing and

holding the handle lock button again,
Open the water tank cover and fill in the tank with water. Close the tank cover. Place the iron upright resting it on the back wall and check that the water level is not higher than the "MAX" indicator on the water tank. Place the iron in a vertical position, resting it on the back wall and plug the power cord into the socket.
Move the temperature controller to the "max" position. The power indicator lights up and the soleplate heats up. The end of the heating up will be signalled by the power indicator going off. When the iron is heated up for the first time, unpleasant smells, small amounts of smoke and small particles can come out of the iron.
After heating up is finished, hold the iron by the handle. Set the steam controller to a maximum (shifted to the front of the iron as far as possible) and press the steam boost button several times while holding the iron horizontally. All settlements will be removed from the steam delivery system.
The first ironing is recommended to be carried out on a cloth so as to make sure that the iron's soleplate does not mess the ironed fabrics.
After the preparation is complete, start ironing or place the iron in a vertical position, resting it on the back wall, unplug the power cord from the socket and allow the iron's soleplate to cool down on its own.
Filling in and emptying the water tank
Warning! Before filling in or emptying the tank, make sure the power cord plug is disconnected from the power supply socket and that the iron's soleplate is not hot.
Open the water tank cover and fill in the tank with water. Close the tank cover. Place the iron upright resting it on the back wall and check that the water level is not higher than the "MAX" indicator on the water tank. Never fill in the tank so that the water level is higher than the indicator level.
The iron is designed for use of tap water. However, if the water contains a large amount of limescale, use a 1:1 mix of tap water with demineralised or distilled water or just demineralised or distilled water.
This will extend the lifetime of the iron and reduce or prevent limescale build-up inside the steam system of the iron. Contact your water supplier for water parameters.
The iron tank should be emptied after each use. Open the tank cover and turn the iron so that the filling opening faces downwards. Hold the iron in this position until the water is completely removed.
Caution! Even after the tank has been emptied completely, a small amount of water remains in the steam system.
Setting the ironing temperature
The ironing temperature can be set by turning the knob. The line embossed on the transparent knob cover should be used as a marker for the knob adjustment. The knob has the following settings (given from the lowest to the highest temperature):
"off" - turning off the soleplate's heater. Do not treat this position as the off switch of the iron. The iron is only switched off when the power cord is unplugged.
"min." - turning on the soleplate's heater and maintaining a minimum temperature.
"silk / *" - this temperature setting allows to iron delicate fabrics such as silk, artificial silk, synthetic fabrics.
"wool / **" - temperature setting that allows to iron fabrics such as wool.
“cotton / ***” - temperature setting that allows to iron fabrics such as cotton.
"max / linen" - the highest temperature setting that allows to iron fabrics such as linen.
The heater operation is indicated by the power indicator lighting up. The iron's thermostat automatically maintains the temperature set by the knob, turning on and off the heater. The frequency of the heater switching on depends on the ambient temperature and the temperature set by the knob. The lower the ambient temperature and the higher the set temperature, the more often the heater will be switched on.
If a lower temperature is set after ironing at a higher temperature, allow the iron's soleplate to cool down on its own. Wait until the power indicator lights up. Cooling down can only be accelerated by starting a steam boost. It is forbidden to accelerate the cooling down in any other way, e.g. by immersing the soleplate in water.
Dry ironing
You can iron dry with this iron. There is no need to pour water into the iron's tank. However, if the water is already in the iron, there is no need to pour it out. The steam controller must be set to the minimum position as far as it will go.
The steam boost button functions are inactive when the steam controller is in its minimum position.
Steam ironing
Fill in the tank with water. Set the steam controller to a position other than the minimum position. Set the temperature knob to “max / linen” position. Start heating up. During ironing, water vapour will be extracted through the holes in the iron’s soleplate with the intensity set by the steam controller.
If even more steam is required, press the steam boost button. Do not press the button more than three times in a row. For best performance, it is recommended to follow breaks of at least 4 seconds between successive presses of the steam boost button.
When the steam chamber is emptied, the iron needs some time to refill it. Pressing the steam boost button during this time will

increase the chamber filling time.
If the set temperature is too low, the steam ironing will not be possible. In this case, water droplets can escape from the holes in the iron soleplate.
Steam does not escape from the holes in the iron's soleplate when the iron is placed vertically. However, a steam boost can still be used in this position. For example, for ironing with a steam jet of clothes hung on hangers. It is not allowed to iron clothing in this way on persons or animals. This can cause serious burns.
Ironing advice
It is recommended to iron slightly damp fabrics. Ironing will be faster and easier. In this case, set the steam controller to the minimum setting. Steam will come out of the damp fabric, not from the iron. This will save the electricity you need to power your iron. If you need to dampen areas of ironed fabrics, use a separate sprayer. When dampening the fabric, do not point the water jet at the iron.
It is recommended to iron on ironing boards and to use iron power cord holders if the board has such a function. The handle should be positioned so that the risk of the power cord coming into contact with the hot iron's soleplate is minimised.
Special care should be taken when ironing synthetic fabrics. Check the product label to see if ironing is allowed at all and at what temperature. For particularly delicate fabrics, a slightly dampened, thin cotton fabric can be used as an intermediate layer between the iron's soleplate and the synthetic fabric.
Iron maintenance
Check the iron's soleplate after each use. Allow the soleplate to cool down completely before cleaning. Clean the soleplate with a slightly damp, soft cotton cloth. Protect the soleplate from scratches and do not use any chemicals such as dishwashing liquids, alcohol, acids, solvents, etc. for cleaning. Do not use sharp tools, hard sponges, scrapers, etc. to clean the soleplate so as not to scratch its surface.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the remaining parts of the iron.
If the fabric sticks to the iron's soleplate during ironing, stop ironing immediately, disconnect the iron from the power supply and remove any remaining fabric from the iron's soleplate as soon as possible using a damp, soft cotton cloth. The cleaning operation should be carried out with gloves that provide protection against the high temperature of the iron's soleplate.
Never immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.
Iron storage
Store the iron in a dry place, disconnected from the power supply. The power cord must be unplugged from the socket. Store the iron with the water tank emptied. Store in a dark and well-ventilated place. The place of storage should prevent access by children. Store the iron in such a way that the iron, especially the soleplate, will not be damaged.
