The declared noise emission value(s) have been measured in accordance with a standard test method and may be used for comparing one tool with another. The declared noise emission value(s) may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING! The noise emissions during actual use of the power tool can differ from the declared values depending on the ways in which the tool is used especially what kind of workpiece is processed. There is a need to identify safety measures to protect the operator that are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the operating cycle such as the times when the tool is switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the trigger time).
GENERAL WARNINGS FOR THE SAFETY OF POWER TOOLS
Warning! Read all safety warnings, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, fire or serious injury.
Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" used in warnings applies to all tools driven by power both wired and wireless.
Workplace safety
Keep the workplace well-lit and clean. Disorder and poor lighting can be causes of accidents.
Do not work with power tools in an environment with an increased risk of explosion, containing flammable liquids, gases or vapors. Power tools generate sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.
Children and third persons should not be allowed to enter the workplace. Loss of concentration can result in loss of control.
EN
Electrical safety
The plug of the electric cable must match the power socket. You must not modify the plug in any way. Do not use any plug adapters with earthed power tools. An unmodified plug that fits the outlet reduces the risk of electric shock.
Avoid contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators and coolers. Grounding the body increases the risk of electric shock. Do not expose power tools to contact with atmospheric precipitation or moisture. Water and moisture that gets inside the power tool increases the risk of electric shock.
Do not overload the power cable. Do not use the power cord to carry, pull or unplug the power plug from the power outlet. Avoid contact of the power cable with heat, oils, sharp edges and moving parts. Damage or entanglement of the power cord increases the risk of electric shock.
In the case of working outside closed rooms, use extension cords intended for work outside closed rooms. The use of an extension cord adapted for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
When using a power tool in a humid environment is unavoidable as a protection against supply voltage use a residual current device (RCD). The use of RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
Stay alert, pay attention to what you do and keep common sense while working with the power tool. Do not use a power tool when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol or medication. Even a moment of inattention while working can lead to serious personal injury.

Handles and grping surfaces must be dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and gripping surfaces do not allow for safe operation and control of the tool in dangerous situations.
Repairs
Repair the power tool only in authorized facilities using only original spare parts. This ensures proper operation safety of the power tool.
DIAMOND DRILL SAFETY WARNINGS
When performing drilling that requires the use of water, route the water away from the operator's work area or use a liquid collection device. Such precautionary measures keep the operator's work area dry and reduce the risk of electrical shock.
EN
Operate power tool by insulated grasping surfaces, when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
Wear hearing protection when diamond drilling. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
When the bit is jammed, stop applying downward pressure and turn off the tool. Investigate and take corrective actions to eliminate the cause of the bit jamming.
When restarting a diamond drill in the workpiece check that the bit rotates freely before starting. If the bit is jammed, it may not start, may overload the tool, or may cause the diamond drill to release from the workpiece.
When securing the drill stand with anchors and fasteners to the workpiece, ensure that the anchoring used is capable of holding and restraining the machine during use. If the workpiece is weak or porous, the anchor may pull out causing the drill stand to release from the workpiece.
When drilling through walls or ceilings, ensure to protect persons and the work area on the other side. The bit may extend through the hole or the core may fall out on the other side.
Do not use this tool for overhead drilling with water supply. Water entering the power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
PRODUCT OPERATION
Preparing for operation
Unpack the product and remove all elements of the packaging. It is recommended to keep the packaging for further storage and transport of the product. Check the product for damage that may have occurred during transport.
Caution! Before performing any preparatory activities, make sure that the product power switch is in the "off - O/OFF" position and that the plug of the product power cord is pulled out of the power socket.
Preparing for operation
The base of the stand should be fixed to the substrate. This is done by means of a hole in the middle of the base. Fix the stand using the M16 anchor sleeve. The anchor sleeve is not supplied with the product. The anchor should be set in the substrate. Before starting assembly, select the appropriate type of substrate. The substrate intended for fixation should be robust and of uniform structure. Loose substrates, e.g. with stones or sand are not suitable for fixing the base. Select fasteners according to the substrate; you can use screw anchors, anchors, screws and other screwed fasteners. Do not use hammer-in fasteners. The forces generated during drilling can pull such fasteners from the substrate.
Screw the fixing rod into the anchor and place the core drill base on the rod so that the rod protrudes from the longitudinal slot in the base. Screw the nut onto the rod, but do not tighten it yet.
Level the base with screws in the corners of the base. Tighten the nuts to the base (II) after levelling. This will prevent the levelling screws from unscrewing.
Tighten the anchor nut so that the base is fi xed to the substrate.
This method of fixing allows the core drill to be mounted in any position.
Screw and tighten the holder (III) to the stand head.
Install the knob of the movable stand head; the knob can be mounted on both sides of the tool housing. Put the knob on the mandrel, then tighten the screw so that it fits the hole in the mandrel and blocks the possibility of the knob sliding off the mandrel (IV).
Unscrew the screws fixing the column to the stand base and rotate the column 180^ (V). Then tighten all the screws in the reverse order in which they were unscrewed.
Adjust the movement resistance of the stand head. To do so, use the knob (VI). Screwing the knob increases the resistance of the stand head movement, and by unscrewing the knob the resistance of the stand head movement is reduced.
Caution! The knob is not used to completely block the movement of the head. Select the movement resistance so that the head does not automatically change position under the weight of the core drill installed in the head, and at the same time, it is possible to move the head smoothly using the knob.
Screw the blanking plug (VI) into the hole at the top of the stand column.
Drill bit installation
Install the drill bit by screwing it onto the core drill spindle. The drill bit thread must match the core drill thread. It is forbidden to modify any of the threads to make them match. It is forbidden to use adapters that will adapt the drill bit fixation to the spindle fixation.
Check the condition of both threads - drill bit and spindle - before installing the drill bit. The threads must be clean and free of damage. Clean the threads with a brush with plastic bristles or a soft cloth if necessary.
There is a cooling water outlet in the spindle axis. Check whether it is not dirty. It is easier to do this before installing the drill bit. Clean the water outlet carefully with a thin wooden or plastic stick if necessary. Do not use sharp metal objects which could damage the water supply system. If dirt cannot be removed, contact an authorised service centre of the manufacturer.
Install the drill bit by screwing it on the spindle so that the spindle thread is completely covered. Tighten the connection by holding
EN
the spindle with one spanner and tightening the drill bit with the other spanner (VII).
To disassemble the drill bit, unscrew it with the spindle spanner held in place by the other spanner.
Perform drill bit installation and disassembly using hand spanners. The drill bit will tighten during drilling, which may mean that disassembling the drill bit will require more force than the installation.
Cooling water connection
Caution! Use only water for cooling. It is forbidden to use other liquids. The water for cooling should be clean, free from any impurities which could restrict or block the water flow.
Whenever possible, drill with water cooling. This will prolong the operation of drill bits and core drill, as well as reduce the amount of dust generated during operation. Check that the product water valve is closed (VIII). Slide the hose with the internal diameter specified in the technical data table onto the valve port (IX). Check that the hose does not automatically slide off during operation. Secure the connection with a clamp if necessary. Do not tighten the clamp too much to avoid damaging the hose.
Open the water supply to the product valve. Water to the water connection must be supplied at a pressure not higher than specified in the technical data table. Check that the connection of the hose to the valve port does not show any signs of leakage. The valve is opened and closed by means of a lever (X). If the lever is perpendicular to the water connection port, the valve is closed. Lever in any other position means the valve is open. The valve is fully open when the valve lever is parallel to the port. Check that the water comes out of the outlet nozzle.
Caution! If the end of the drill bit is higher during operation than the end of the spindle, e.g. when drilling in the ceiling, ensure that water does not flow towards the core drill. The core drill is not sealed and contact of water with the product electrical systems can lead to electrocution, which can lead to serious injuries or death.
In this case, do not use water cooling for drilling or use an external device for collecting excess water (available separately) connected to an industrial vacuum cleaner designed for wet work (available separately).
The water supply system should be routed in such a way that it does not interfere in any manner with the operation of the product and access to the handle, holders and power switch.
Residual current circuit breaker (PRCD) test
The product is equipped with an automatic residual current circuit breaker connected to the power cord near the plug. Every time before starting work, test its operation. Check that the tool power switch is in the "off" position, the drill bit has been disassembled and the spindle does not come into contact with any object. Plug the power cord plug into the mains socket. Press the button marked "TEST" on the PRCD circuit breaker housing; the indicator light on the PRCD circuit breaker will go out. Press the button marked "RESET" and then turn on the product by pressing the power switch; the indicator light should illuminate.
If the indicator light does not go off after pressing the button marked "TEST" or goes off after turning on the product, immediately stop the product operation, disconnect the power cord plug from the mains socket and hand the product over to the authorised service centre of the manufacturer.
Caution! It is forbidden to use the product with a damaged residual current circuit breaker.
Turning on the product
Always perform a test run to check the correct operation of the product each time before starting work.
Make sure that the tool power switch is in the "off - O/OFF" position and the power cord plug is unplugged from the mains socket. Install the drill bit and then connect the water supply. Perform the activities following the above guidelines. Close the water valve. Make sure that the drill bit does not come into contact with any object; plug the power cord plug into the mains socket.
Press the button marked "RESET" on the residual current circuit breaker and open the water valve.
Move the power switch to the "on - I/ON" position – this will turn on the tool. Allow the product to run for approx. 30 seconds at a rated rotational speed.
During this time, check whether the drill bit does not show signs of axial run-out, the product does not vibrate, does not generate excessive noise, or no smoke or suspicious odours are released from the product. Check the water flow of the cooling system for interference.
In case of observing any signs of malfunction, immediately turn off the product, unplug the power cord plug from the socket and then try to remove the cause of the malfunction. If it is not possible to remove the cause of the malfunction, the product must be handed over to the authorised service centre of the manufacturer.
It is forbidden to work with malfunctioning product or product that is damaged.
Turning off the product
Turn off the product in the following order.
Move the power switch to the "off - O/OFF" position.
Wait until the drill bit stops rotating. Close the water valve. Unplug the power cord plug from the mains socket. Disconnect the water supply system from the product. Open the product water valve and allow the rest of the water to escape from the product.
Remove the drill bit and proceed with the product maintenance.
Operation
Before commence of the work always prepare the operation place.
EN
If a passage (through) hole is to be carried out protect also the other side of drilled area since core falling off the bit may cause a hazard.
Check place, where a hole is to be drilled in terms of any obstacles such as installations: water, gas and electric ones, damage to which could result in injuries and a death risk as well as material damages.
If at the time of drilling works certain reinforcement is to be cut, obtain a relevant permit from technical supervision authorities or any other services responsible for safety of structures.
When drilling do not slant the drill rig, it can damage the bit, the tool itself and to result in injuries.
When drilling apply such pressure only which is necessary to drill effectively. Too much pressure shall cause quick wear of the bit and the drill rig itself. It may also cause activation of the overload clutch.
The drill rig is equipped with overload clutch. It operates at the moment the machine detects too much resistance during drilling. Firstly, some pulsation takes place and finally, bit stops despite the engine operates. Operation of the clutch can be caused by too large pressure during drilling, by bending of the bit or drilling a material which requires too high torque.
If the clutch operation is observed release pressure of the bit till the drill rig has returned to proper operation.
In case when no-passage holes are carried out the core stays fixed to the base. After the end of drilling do not switch off flow of the water immediately. It will enable to flush out the dusts produced when drilling, which is located between the wall of the bit and its core.
The core must be unsticked from the base by means of a chisel in a way presented in the illustration (XI).
In case of no-passage holes the core may fall off from the bit by itself. Before start of the passage drilling protect the other side, e.g. by means of a boarding, in order to prevent the core from falling from the core and making any damages. If the core does not fall from the bit under its own weight, delicately tap the walls of the bit by means of a piece of wood or plastic one. It is prohibited to use metal objects to do this. If it is still impossible to remove the core, one may use an ejecting drift inserted into the installation hole of the bit. Remove the core by light tapping. Stay cautious and do not damage the thread in the installation hole.
Before commence of drilling mark the drilling place, around the drilling mark a circle (diameter of the hole). It enables accurate drilling.
After the end of work close the water flow, unplug the tool and start maintenance operations.
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
ATTENTION! Before any adjustment, technical service or maintenance operations unplug the tool. Once the operations have been finished, the technical conditions of the tool must be assessed by means of external evaluation and inspection of the following elements: body and handle, conductor with a plug and deflection, functioning of the electric switch, patency of ventilation slots, sparking of brushes, noise level of functioning of bearings and gears, start-up and smoothness of operation. During the guarantee period, the user cannot dismantle the electric tools or change any sub-assemblies or elements, since it will cancel any guarantee rights. All irregularities detected at overhaul or during functioning of the tools are a signal to have the tool repaired at a service shop. Once the functioning has been concluded, the casing, ventilation slots, switches, additional handle and protections must be cleansed with a stream of air (at a pressure not exceeding 0.3MPa ), with a brush or a cloth without any chemical substances or cleaning liquids. Tools and handles must be cleansed with a clean cloth.
