NOTICE!
Every country has its own regulations regarding, among others, the principles of producing and bottling spirits and trading them, as well as sanctions imposed on non-compliance with these regulations. In the Republic of Poland, the provisions of the Act of 18 October 2006 on the production of spirits and on the registration and protection of geographical indications of spirits (Journal of Laws, 2006, No. 208, item 1539, as amended) must be applied.
Kit includes: pressure cooker (tank), disller, professional thermometer, a water drain and inlet hose, a connector adapted to household taps.
PRESSURE COOKER
- Destination: kitchen appliance for household use
• Material: stainless steel - Heat source: electric, induction, ceramic, gas or spiral cooker
• Working pressure: 0,6 BAR
• Safety valve opening pressure: 1.2 BAR - Maximum filling: max 23 of the volume for food and liquids that do not expand, max 12 of the volume for food and liquids that expand
• Minimum allowed filling: 0.5L, for distillation: 2l
DISTILLER: a cooler with a coil made of 2m long, 8mm diameter pipe + settlers, material: stainless steel
PROFESSIONAL FOOD THERMOMETER
- Thermometer for measuring the temperature of prepared dishes.
- Stainless steel probe, 140 mm long
- Temperature range: -50°C to +300°C (-58°F to 572°F)
• Tolerance: +/- 1°C - Accuracy: 0,1°C
- °C/°F button (used for switching the thermometer on or changing the temperature unit to degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit)
- ON/OFF button
- HOLD button (keeps the measurement result displayed on the screen)
- MAX/MIN Button (displays saved maximum and minimum measurement results)
- Batteries: 1xLR44 (included).
DISTILLER – ASSEMBLY AND USE
1. ASSEMBLY FOR DISTILLATION PURPOSES
Screw-in the cooling unit with the still to the pressure cooker (in the place of the safety vent) – 1 You must be careful not to perform this operation by force, because tightening the cooler too much may damage the screw thread.
- Connect the cooling unit to the source of cold water in the countercurrent of the distillate received (lower outlet in the cooling unit – 2). Drainage is performed through the upper cooling unit outlet – 3
- The upper part of the still contains an outlet for inserting a thermometer

1. 2. 3. 4.2. DISTILLATION
- After assembling the set, pour c.a. 2l of water and vinegar to the pressure cooker and distill the liquid to sterilize the set. Perform this procedure only once.
- Pour 10l into the empty pressure cooker and heat the set on the stove. The heating time on an induction stove is c.a. 30min.
• After reaching 80°C, distillate will start to drip from the water cooling unit.
- NOTICE!!! The first 70ml is the first running, which must be discarded, since it contains most volatile substances, which can disturb the taste of the distillate.
• After completing distillation, pour the liquid out of the stills.
• The correct distillation time is c.a. 1 hour for 1l of distillate.
PRESSURE COOKER – DESIGN AND USE
1. PRESSURE COOKER STRUCTURE:

2. USE
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Wash the pot thoroughly with washing liquid. Do not use any scrubbers or washing powders.

Before every use, check the working vent and the safety vent.
Set the working vent arm in the horizontal position and press several times. The arm must return to the horizontal position.
Pull the safety vent several times. The vent must return to its initial position.
FILLING THE PRESSURE COOKER
Maximum permissible filling:
- 1/2 of total volume of the pressure cooker for case of food which grows in size when cooked.
- 2/3 of total volume of the pressure cooker for food which does not grow in size when cooked.
DO NOT BOIL WITHOUT WATER IN THE PRESSURE COOKER!

Please observe several basic rules when closing the lid of the pressure cooker:
- Shift the handle on the lid to the "open" position.
- Slide the lid onto the pot, at an angle, in which the both ends of the crossbar are supported on the edge of the pressure cooker.
- Slide the handle to the other side to the "closed" position. Make sure that the lid is tightly sealed on the edge of the pressure cooker.
- After locking, the handle will be lying horizontally. Please do not press on the handle after sealing the pot, as it may lead to damaging the sealing functions.
OPENING THE PRESSURE COOKER
Before opening the pressure cooker, the most important thing to do is to completely lower the pressure inside the pot.
- Lower the pressure by venting the steam (press the working vent art several times or cool the pot down under a cold water stream).
- Next, in order to level the pressure, slide the working vent to the vertical position.
- When the hissing stops, open the lid.

- Start using the pressure cooker only after reading this instruction manual and information on safe use
- Before every use, check if the pressure cooker has all the required parts and whether the safety vents are clean and patent
- A pressure cooker cooks under pressure. Incorrect use of the pressure cooker may result in burns! Before heating, make sure if the pressure cooker is sealed!
- Keep children away from the pressure cooked when using it
- Do not direct the vents towards the user
- Do not insert the cooker into a hot oven
- When the cooker is under pressure, maintain extra caution handling it. Do not touch any heated surfaces without protection
- Observe the pressure cooker at all times when cooking – adapt the temperature and the time of cooking, maintain and control pressure inside the pressure cooker
- Do not interfere with the safety systems otherwise than as specified in the manual
- Do not use the cooker to any other purposes than its designed purpose
- Do not open the pressure cooker applying force. Open the cooker only after the pressure has dropped.
- Do not use the cooker without water – otherwise you will damage it
• Maximum filling of the pressure cooker – 2/3 of the total volume for food which does not grow in size - When cooking food that grows in size – such as rice or dehydrated vegetables, fill the pressure cooker up to 12 of its total volume only
- When cooking meat (with skin) which swells (e.g. beef tongue), do not puncture it – may cause burns
- When cooking soft meals, shake the cooker lightly before opening to avoid splattering food
- Do not use the cooker to fry food under pressure!
- Do not force pressure cooker opening
- If you notice steam coming out of the safety vent or the sealing ring, immediately turn off the burner
- Always make sure you cook in a clean pressure cooker. Keep the burnt cooker in water and then wash it. Do not use scrubbers or cleaning powders to clean the cooker.
- All spare parts should be original and sourced from an authorized supplier. The pot and the lid should be of the same type and sourced from one manufacturer.
NEVER FORCE THE LID TO OPEN!!!
AFTER EVERY USE
Wash the pressure cooker with mild detergents. Do not use scrubbers or washing powders. The pot can also be washed in a dishwasher.
STORAGE
Store in a clean and dry place. The lid of the cooker should be closed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PRESSURE COOKER
- For the appliance to work properly, follow the recommendations regarding its cleaning and maintenance after every use.
- The pressure cooker should be washed after every use, in lukewarm water with the addition of washing-up liquid.
- Do not use solutions containing chloride, cleaning powder, or so-called scrapers.
- Do not overheat the pot when it's empty.
- The pot can also be washed in a dishwasher.
- The interior and exterior of the pot should be washed with a kitchen washcloth with the addition of washing-up liquid.
- The lid should be washed in lukewarm running water, using a sponge with the addition of washing-up liquid.
- The safety valve should be washed in running tap water.
- The main valve should be cleaned by rinsing it with water. Check its operation by pressing the valve lightly.
REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT
The user of the pressure cooker shouldn't make any repairs by themselves, as this may be tantamount to the loss of warranty. Properly operated, cleaned and maintained product should serve for a long time. Any repairs can only be made by the staff of BROWIN Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Sp. k. based on 129-141 Pryncypalna street; 93-373 Łódź – Poland. This address is simultaneously the address of the repair service. The set does not include spare parts. The company BROWIN carries out repairs or replacement of parts or complete pressure cookers after prior review of the submission.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the product at any time, without prior notice, in order to conform to legal regulations, standards, directives, or for structural, commercial, aesthetic or other reasons.
CAUTION! Every country has its own legal regulations governing the manufacturing of ethyl alcohol, wine products, and spirits, introducing them onto the market, and regarding sanctions for non-compliance. In the Republic of Poland, in force are the following: Act of 2 March 2001 on production of ethyl alcohol and the manufacture of tobacco products (Journal of Laws of 2001 No. 31 item 353, as amended), Act of 12 May 2011 on producing and bottling wine products, their turnover and wine market organisation (Journal of Law of 2011 No. 120 item 690, as amended), and Act of 18 October 2006 on production of spirits and the registration and protection of geographical indications of spirit drinks (Journal of Laws 2006 No. 208 item 1539, as amended).
