2. Safety instructions for the user o

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Avoid spillage on the connector
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
• Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• Bed and breakfast type environments;
• Catering and similar non-retail applications.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

• NDo not let the appliance operate unattended.
• Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
• Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

• To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.

• Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.
• Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.
• In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

Restrictions on use when used with children and elders

• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Instructions to follow when using the appliance

- WARNING: This appliance must be used with earthed socket.

- Do not place the appliance on a polished wood surface, it could damage the wood.

- Unplug the appliance: - After each use

- When the appliance is not in use before changing accessories or cleaning the appliance

- Do not touch the metal parts, housing or its accessories, when the appliance is in use, as this may cause burns or scalding.

- Do not operate without milk in the jug.

- Never touch rotating parts. Risk of injury!

- By exceeding the filling capacity, the jug may overflow

- Do not insert any object and / fingers in the appliance apertures.

- Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before using the Milk Frother for the first time.

• To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and safely discard the protective cover fitted to the plug of this appliance.

- Ensure the Milk Frother is properly assembled before use.

- This Milk Frother has been designed to heat and froth dairy milk and other milk alternatives. It is not intended to thicken or heat other food substances like chocolate, cream, custard, gravies, water etc.

- Use cautiously when pouring warmed milk from the Milk Frother as hot milk can scald.

- Do not operate the appliance without liquid. Always fill up to min. mark and never fill more than max. mark.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.

- WARNING: Do not touch hot surfaces.

- WARNING: This equipment shall be used with CAUTION as this electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surface of this appliance is also different from other functional surfaces which can produce high temperatures. Since temperatures are differently perceived by different persons The equipment must be touch only at intended handles and gripping surfaces with the help of heat protectors like gloves or similar type of clothing. Otherwise let it for sufficient time cool down before touching the hot surfaces.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Kindly refer to the cleaning and maintenance section for details on how to clean surfaces which comes in the contact of food.

3. BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging materials and foils and store it for later use. Check if the appliance has been delivered complete including all its accessories and that it is in perfect order.
• Before using the appliance for the first time please clean the jug and the accessories, as described under the chapter "Cleaning and Care" to remove dust or production residues.
  • Fully unwind the power cord.

6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Choose the appropriate whisk and place it inside the jug. (See the function above for reference)
2. Pour the milk into the jug below the mark. (See the max capacity above for reference)
3. Place the lid firmly onto the jug.
4. Frothing & Heating Milk/ Heating Milk: Press the on/off button to start. The red Indicator lights will illuminate and unit start functioning.
5. Frothing the cold milk: Press and hold the on/off button for 1-2 seconds. This process switch cycle and only the blue light will remain on.

HINTS AND TIPS

Here are some handy hints to help you get the best out of your frother.

• To protect the electric circuit, it has been set up that user should wait for 3 seconds to turn on the appliance after the current is switched on.
  • Always use your frother first to froth or heat your milk. While it is operating prepare your coffee or hot chocolate and serve immediately.
• Use whole milk (fat content >3.0% ) for best results.
• Cold milk can be frothed with this frother. But it doesn't mean you can cool down the milk with it. The frother works in normal temperature in this condition.
• Milk heats to approximately 65-70°C. This is the ideal temperature to ensure the flavour of Your coffee, which is not impaired and so you don't have to wait too long until you can start sipping on your drink.
• Keep the whisks in a safe place.
  • After frothing or heating allow 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset and the frother to be ready for use again. To shorten this time, rinse with water and wipe dry after each use.
• The frother is designed to heat and froth milk. If you add flavourings, coffee granules or hot chocolate powder in the frother ensure you thoroughly clean immediately after using.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Below you can find some drinks that you can prepare with the help of frother.

WITH FROTHED MILK

Cappuccino

1/3 espresso Add 2/3 frothed milk Top with cocoa powder.

Latte Macchiato

Pour frothed milk in a tall glass Add espresso carefully along rim of the glass.

Instant frothy coffee

Make instant coffee Add frothed milk.

WITH HOT MILK

Café latte

1/3 espresso shot Add 2/3 heated milk and stir.

Hot Chocolate

Pour heated milk in to a large mug Add chocolate powder and stir to mix.

Instant milky coffee

Place instant coffee granules in a cup Add hot milk and stir to mix.

7. CLEANING AND CARE

Remove the jug from the power base before cleaning. Separate the lid and the silicon ring from the jug. Never immerse the jug or the base into water. Never use the dishwasher to wash the frother.

1. THE JUG: Clean immediately after each use. Clean the walls using warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth. Then dry with a soft cloth.
2. THE LID: Remove the lid and the silicon ring from the jug. Wash out with water directly.
3. THE BODY: Clean with a soft cloth. Never use sharp cleaning agents, hard nylon brush or metal brush to avoid scratches on the stain less steel surfaces! Never clean with metal objects and never use abrasives.
4. THE WHISKS: Remove from the jug. Wash with warm water. Dry and store in a safe place.
5. Remove the power plug before cleaning.
6. Take out the spiral whisk or paddle, fill with water, use a small brush to clean the gap under shaft sleeve of motor.
7. Fix the spiral whisk, pour water into jug, water can't exceed the max of stir, setting cold frother as the state of milk frother, one time in one loop, 65s (time has set.)
8. Use sponge or nonmetal soft brush to clean the inside and outside of the jug, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
9. When cleaning the jug, never immerse the jug fully in water. There are electronic components in the body of the jug that can be damaged.
10. Don't wash it in dishwasher
