What type of milk to use for good froth?

For best results, use whole milk with a fat content above 3.0%.

How to froth cold milk?

Press the on/off button and hold it down for 1 to 2 seconds. The red lights turn off and only the blue light remains on.

What are the minimum and maximum capacities of the jug?

The minimum capacity is 100 ml for all functions. The maximum capacity varies: 130 ml for frothing, 300 ml for simple heating.

How to clean the frother after use?

Remove the jug from the base, separate the lid and silicone ring. Wash the jug with warm soapy water using a non-abrasive cloth. Never immerse the jug or base in water and do not put in dishwasher.

Why doesn't the indicator light turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted, that the contact between the jug and base is good, and that the power outlet works. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Can I use the frother to heat liquids other than milk?

No, this appliance is designed only for milk and dairy products. Do not heat water, chocolate, sauces or other substances.

How to prevent the milk from overflowing?

Respect the minimum and maximum marks indicated in the jug. Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for each function.

What to do if the frother stops during use?

This may be due to an internal temperature too high. Rinse the interior of the jug with cold water and wait 2 minutes before restarting.

How to change function (frothing/heating)?

Choose the appropriate whisk (spiral whisk for frothing, flat whisk for heating) and place it in the jug. Press the on/off button: red lights indicate heating, prolonged press activates cold frothing (blue light).

2. Safety instructions for the user

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Avoid spillage on the connector

Instructions to follow when using the appliance

- WARNING: This appliance must be used with earthed socket.

- Do not place the appliance on a polished wood surface, it could damage the wood.

- Do not touch the metal parts, housing, or its accessories when the appliance is in use, as this may cause burns or scalding.

- Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before using the Milk Frother for the first time.

- To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and safely discard the protective cover fitted to the plug of this appliance.

- Ensure the Milk Frother is properly assembled before use.

- This Milk Frother has been designed to heat and froth dairy milk and other milk alternatives. It is not intended to thicken or heat other food substances like chocolate, cream, custard, gravies, water, etc.

- Use caution when pouring warmed milk from the Milk Frother, as hot milk can scald.

- Do not operate the appliance without liquid. Always fill up to the min. mark and never fill more than the max. mark.

- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.

- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.

- WARNING: Do not touch hot surfaces.

- WARNING: This equipment shall be used with CAUTION as this electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surface of this appliance is also different from other functional surfaces which can produce high temperatures. Since temperatures are differently perceived by different persons, the equipment must be touched only at intended handles and gripping surfaces with the help of heat protectors like gloves or similar type of clothing. Otherwise, let it cool down for sufficient time before touching the hot surfaces.

3. BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging materials and foils and store them for later use. Check if the appliance has been delivered complete including all its accessories and that it is in perfect order.
• Before using the appliance for the first time, please clean the jug and the accessories, as described under the chapter "Cleaning and Care" to remove dust or production residues. • Fully unwind the power cord.

6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Choose the appropriate whisk and place it inside the jug. (See the function above for reference)
2. Pour the milk into the jug below the mark. (See the max capacity above for reference)
3. Place the lid firmly onto the jug.
4. Frothing & Heating Milk/ Heating Milk: Press the on/off button to start. The red indicator lights will illuminate and the unit will start functioning.
5. Frothing the cold milk: Press and hold the on/off button for 1-2 seconds. This process switches cycle and only the blue light will remain on.

HINTS AND TIPS

Here are some handy hints to help you get the best out of your frother.

• To protect the electric circuit, it has been set up that the user should wait for 3 seconds to turn on the appliance after the current is switched on. • Always use your frother first to froth or heat your milk. While it is operating, prepare your coffee or hot chocolate and serve immediately.
• Use whole milk (fat content >3.0%) for best results.
• Cold milk can be frothed with this frother. But it doesn't mean you can cool down the milk with it. The frother works at normal temperature in this condition.
• Milk heats to approximately 65-70°C. This is the ideal temperature to ensure the flavour of your coffee, which is not impaired, and so you don't have to wait too long until you can start sipping on your drink.
• Keep the whisks in a safe place. • After frothing or heating, allow 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset and the frother to be ready for use again. To shorten this time, rinse with water and wipe dry after each use.
• The frother is designed to heat and froth milk. If you add flavourings, coffee granules, or hot chocolate powder in the frother, ensure you thoroughly clean it immediately after using.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Below you can find some drinks that you can prepare with the help of the frother.

WITH FROTHED MILK

Cappuccino

1/3 espresso Add 2/3 frothed milk Top with cocoa powder.

Latte Macchiato

Pour frothed milk in a tall glass. Add espresso carefully along the rim of the glass.

Instant frothy coffee

Make instant coffee. Add frothed milk.

WITH HOT MILK

Café latte

1/3 espresso shot Add 2/3 heated milk and stir.

Hot Chocolate

Pour heated milk into a large mug. Add chocolate powder and stir to mix.

Instant milky coffee

Place instant coffee granules in a cup. Add hot milk and stir to mix.

7. CLEANING AND CARE

Remove the jug from the power base before cleaning. Separate the lid and the silicon ring from the jug. Never immerse the jug or the base into water. Never use the dishwasher to wash the frother.

1. THE JUG: Clean immediately after each use. Clean the walls using warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth. Then dry with a soft cloth.
2. THE LID: Remove the lid and the silicon ring from the jug. Wash out with water directly.
3. THE BODY: Clean with a soft cloth. Never use sharp cleaning agents, hard nylon brush or metal brush to avoid scratches on the stainless steel surfaces! Never clean with metal objects and never use abrasives.
4. THE WHISKS: Remove from the jug. Wash with warm water. Dry and store in a safe place.
5. Remove the power plug before cleaning.
6. Take out the spiral whisk or paddle, fill with water, use a small brush to clean the gap under shaft sleeve of motor.
7. Fix the spiral whisk, pour water into jug, water can't exceed the max of stir, setting cold frother as the state of milk frother, one time in one loop, 65s (time has set.)
8. Use sponge or nonmetal soft brush to clean the inside and outside of the jug, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
9. When cleaning the jug, never immerse the jug fully in water. There are electronic components in the body of the jug that can be damaged.
10. Don't wash it in dishwasher
