How to pair the Sogo SS-8190 earbuds with my phone?

Open the charging case and remove the earbuds. On your phone, enable Bluetooth, search for devices, and select SOGO-SS-8190. The earbuds will connect automatically.

How to reset the earbuds to factory settings?

Make sure the earbuds are charged. When they are on and not connected, quickly press the function button on one earbud 5 times. The red indicator lights up for 3 seconds then turns off. Place the earbuds back in the case and repeat pairing.

What is the actual battery life of the earbuds?

The earbuds offer 6 hours of playback per charge. With the charging case, you can recharge the earbuds 4 times, for a total battery life of approximately 24 hours.

Are the earbuds water resistant?

Yes, they have an IPX4 rating that protects against splashes and sweat. Never immerse them in water.

How to change the ear tips?

Gently remove the silicone ear tip from the earbud and snap on the desired size (S, M or L). Choose the size that offers comfortable fit and good sound isolation.

How to control music and calls?

Double-tap on an earbud: play/pause or answer/end a call. Single tap on the right earbud: volume up; left earbud: volume down. Triple-tap: next track (right) or previous track (left). Long press for 2 seconds: left = voice assistant, right = ANC on/off.

How to activate noise cancellation (ANC)?

Touch and hold the right earbud for 2 seconds to activate or deactivate ANC mode. An audio prompt will confirm the change.

Can I use the earbuds with only one side?

Yes, you can use a single earbud. When you remove one earbud from the case, it connects automatically. To switch to mono mode, place the other earbud in the case.

How to charge the case and earbuds?

Connect the provided Type-C cable to the case and to a USB charger (5V, 500mA-1A). The solid white LED indicates full charge. Charging time is approximately 1.5 hours for the earbuds in the case.

What to do if the earbuds do not connect?

Make sure they are charged. Reset the earbuds as described. Delete the device from your phone's Bluetooth list and re-pair. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

2. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

I. Restrictions

• Never immerse the device or the charging cable in water or any other liquid. In the event of the speaker falling in water, take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not place or operate the device on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or irreparable damage to the product.
• Do not use the device for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not leave the device charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or the device itself.
• Do not use the device while in charge, otherwise it may also damage the device.
• Do not drop, disassemble, deform, modify or insert any objects into this product as operating damage may result.
• Do not attempt to repair, modify or disassemble the product yourself. This product does not contain any user-serviceable components and may void the warranty.
• Do not clean the product with alcohol, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive cleaners.
• Do not place this product in contact with any sharp objects as this may cause scratches and operating damage.
• Do not attempt to replace the product battery, it is built-in and is not user changeable.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

II. Precautions while using this device

• Earbuds should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid contact with oil, steam, moisture, dust, etc., to avoid affecting product performance.
• Avoid using irritating organic solvents or items containing these ingredients to clean earbuds.
• Earbuds should be used correctly and in a standardized manner as required, and attention should be paid to the impact of use on the surrounding environment. To ensure smooth connection, the distance between the phone and earbuds should not be more than 10 meters.
• If earbuds have other problems such as poor connection or communication, please do not

disassemble the earbuds body and accessories without permission, otherwise the warranty will not be granted.

• Please choose a standard charger to charge the earbuds.
• To ensure your normal use of earbuds, please ensure that the earbuds have sufficient power.
• Avoid exposure to extreme temperature, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust, or mechanical shock; never leave the products directly in the sun.
• In case of lightning, immediately take off the earphones.
• You may not hear some warning sounds while wearing these earphones.
• Prolonged exposure to high sound levels may permanently damage your hearing.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

- To avoid possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume for long periods of time. Please set the volume to a safe level and understand that the louder the volume is, the shorter safe listening time is.

- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear the ambient sound.

- You should temporarily renounce to use it in potentially hazardous situations (such as lightning, rain, extremely heat).

4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE FIRST USE:

In order to have a good experience, please charge the charging case and the earbuds before using them.

Note:

You must select a qualified charger from a regular manufacturer. (Charging Voltage: 5V Charging Current: 500mAh to 1A for charging case). A fully charged earbud will lose its power automatically if left unused. It is recommended to charge the headset each three months. Do not leave the headset in a too hot or too cold condition (best between – 10°C and 55°C) which may affect the headset's operations although it is fully charged. Please take out the headsets from the charging base and store them separately if not to use for a long time. Do not dispose of the earbud into fire or water.

How to Operate:

Power On: The earbuds will be turned ON automatically when you open the charging case and take the earbuds out.

Power OFF: The earbuds will be turned OFF automatically as soon as placed inside the charging case. If there is no connection till 5 minutes, it will

power OFF automatically.

Pairing:

• Open the charging case and take the earbuds out.
• Select "Add Device" and select the "SOGO-SS-8190" in the list of available devices.
• Your Airbuds will be paired with your mobile device and ready to use.

Note: Your earbuds will be automatically connected to the last paired device as soon as you take them out of the charging case.

RESET:

• Make sure your earbuds are fully charged.
• When the device is powered ON and not connected, press the Left or Right ear function button 5 times in a row to reset (restore factory settings): The red light will stay ON for 3 seconds and will go OFF.
• Place the buds inside the charging case and repeat the pairing process.

Choosing your ear Tip Size:

Earbuds are fitted with medium-sized tips. However, if you find that they don't fit perfectly, please remove them and try the small and large ear tips. Follow the Images to learn how to wear the earbuds in the right manner.

Control:

1- Play / Pause: Tap any of the earbuds twice to Play or Pause the music. 2- Previous Song: Tap the Left earbud thrice. 3- Next Song: Tap the Right earbud thrice. 4- Volume Up: Tap the Right earbud once. 5- Volume Down: Tap the Left earbud once. 6- Answer / End the call: Tap either earbud twice. 7- Reject the Call: Touch and hold either earbud for 2 seconds. 8- Switching between Music mode and Game mode: Tap the earbud four times. 9- Activate / De-activate ANC Mode: Touch and Hold right earbud for 2 seconds. 10- Voice Assistance: Touch and Hold left earbud for 2 seconds.
