How to charge the Sogo SS-5622 coffee maker?

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device's charging port, then plug the other end into a 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The power button LED blinks red during charging and turns green when fully charged (about 3 hours).

Can I use capsules other than Nespresso or Dolce Gusto?

The device is designed for original Nespresso and Dolce Gusto capsules, as well as ground coffee and loose tea. Compatible capsules must have the same format to ensure proper extraction.

How to heat water with this coffee maker?

Open the lid, pour 60 ml of cold water, close it, then quickly press the power button twice. The LED turns orange and the water heats for about 5 minutes to 92°C. Once ready, the LED turns green.

What to do if the red LED blinks and the device beeps?

This indicates a low battery. Recharge the machine for 3 to 5 hours. If the red LED blinks rapidly with a long beep, it is overheat protection: remove the cap, let it cool for 5 minutes, then restart by double-clicking.

How to clean the machine after use?

Remove used capsules or ground coffee. Wash removable accessories (cup, capsule holder, powder adapter) with warm water and mild detergent. Never immerse the motor body. Then run 2 to 3 cycles of clear water to rinse the system.

How many cups of coffee can I brew on a full charge?

A fully charged battery allows extracting 40 to 50 cups of coffee (depending on cup size and extraction type). Extraction time is about 60 seconds per cup.

Can I use the machine while it is charging?

• Do not immerse the coffee maker host into the water. It is prohibited to wash the host under running water.
• Do not over fill the water tank, boiling water may be ejected. In the event of over filling of the water please remove the excess water.
• Do not place or operate coffee maker on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
• Do not use this appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not leave the appliance charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or appliance itself.
• Do not use the appliance while in charge.

LED LIGHT FUNCTIONING:

While in use, this device flashes with 3 types of LED lights.

I. Flashing RED light: while the unit is in charging mode, the Power button ring illuminates with a flashing Red light. II. Running Red light: when the battery level is low, the Power button light illuminates with a running RED light. III. Orange running light: when the unit is in water heating mode, the Power button ring illuminates with a running Orange light. IV. Green light: when the unit charges completely, the Power button ring illuminates with a Green light. Also, when the unit is in coffee preparation mode, the Power button ring illuminates with a Green light.

POWER BUTTON FUNCTIONING:

Single press: To check the battery level.

Long press: To enter the unit into coffee preparation mode.

Double press: To heat the water.

Short press: To stop/pause coffee preparation.

5. CHARGING MODE

1. To charge the appliance, connect the type C charging cable to the Type C charging port. Connect the USB end to the charging adaptor and plug it into the wall outlet.
2. While charging, the power button light turns on in Red color and once fully charged, changes to Green color.

Note: Make sure to charge before use.

6. WATER HEATING FUNCTION

This unit has an exceptional water heating function. With this function, the user doesn't need to worry about carrying separate hot water to prepare coffee.

The user can use normal temperature water and heat it up in the coffee maker.

To heat the water, open the water tank lid and pour in 60 ml of water. Place the lid back and press the power button twice. The unit enters water heating mode and the power LED light turns to a running orange color. Maximum water heating time is 5 minutes. Once the water is heated, the power light turns green.

The coffee maker is ready to prepare coffee.

1. Open the water tank lid.
2. Pour cold water into the water container and firmly close the lid.
3. Press the power button to check the battery level. If the LED light illuminates green, long press the power button to enter the unit into coffee preparation mode.
4. Max. coffee preparation time is 60 seconds.
5. Collect the coffee into a coffee cup and enjoy.

Hot water coffee extraction process:

1. Open the water tank lid.
2. Pour hot water into the water container and firmly close the lid.
3. Press the power button to check the battery level. If the LED light illuminates green, long press the power button to enter the unit into coffee preparation mode.
4. Maximum coffee preparation time is 60 seconds.
5. Collect the coffee into a coffee cup and enjoy.

Hot water coffee extraction process by heating the water:

1. Open the water tank lid.
2. Pour cold water into the water container and firmly close the lid.
3. Press the power button twice to heat the water. The unit enters water heating mode and the LED light turns into an orange running light.
4. Maximum water heating time is 5 minutes. Once the water is heated, the unit automatically enters coffee preparation mode.
5. Maximum coffee preparation time is 60 seconds.
6. Collect the coffee into a coffee cup and enjoy.

This coffee maker is provided with 3 coffee adapters.

8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cleaners. Clean the appliance with water and a mild cleanser.

1. Before cleaning the coffee maker, remove the espresso capsule, pods, or ground coffee.

Note: Make sure to remove used capsules and coffee powder.

1. Add water to the water container without a capsule or coffee powder, and run the coffee-making process 2–3 times to clean it properly.
2. Wash all detachable parts with water. All accessories and detachable parts can be washed with water and mild detergent.

Note: do not clean the host or motor part.

9. TROUBLESHOOTING

Malfunction Analysis Troub	leshooting
Red light is on for 8 seconds.	Ran out of battery. Charge it	for 3 to 5 hours to make sure that it gets a full recharge.
Red light flashes slowly with buzzer sounds for 5 seconds.	Heat time over 15 mins, device stop working.	Restart. Double click power button to heat water.
Red light flashes quickly with buzzer sounds for 5 seconds.	Over-heating protection. Take cap off to cool it down for 5 mins. Then re-heat by double clicking power button.
Extraction of water only. Big capsule or small cap-sule is not pricked well.	Twist the big capsule holder tightly to the end until it can't be screwed.
Extracted ground coffee is with residue.	Coffee powder is over-flowed on the holder edge.	Make sure no overflew coffee powder around the powder holder and use a spoon to press coffee powder tightly for a better extraction.
