  • This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have received instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  1. Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.

  7. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.

  8. Only unplugging from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.

  9. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.

  10. Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources such as, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.

  11. Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.

Safety Instructions

If you do get battery fluid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with lots of water and consult a physician immediately. If battery fluid comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of water and soap.
  3. Warning! Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard.
  4. This product (remote control) contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
  5. Keep new and used batteries away from children.
  6. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  7. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Changing Battery

One battery is already inserted. Remove the battery protection before the first time use.

Assembly and installation

Fig. 5 If you want to operate the unit with water for better cooling, pull out the water tank and fill it up to the MAX mark at the most. Take care when doing so, to make sure, that no water enters the product, e.g. through the air inlet.

Note: You can also fill the supplied cooling packs with water, freeze them and put them in the water tank.

Close the water tank again and turn the latch down.

Attention

If the water tank is filled, do not move or tilt the fan, otherwise water will leak from the tank.

Warning

  • The product may only be connected to the mains once it has been completely assembled.
  • The product must not be disassembled during operation, general care, cleaning and user maintenance.
  • The product may never be operated without the stand or in a horizontal position.

Operation

Note: The function settings and on/off switch can operate from the control panel on the ventilator as well as remotely.

Caution

  • Before cleaning, always let the product come to a complete stop and disconnect it from the mains.
  • Do not use solvents or abrasives, metal utensils or hard brushes for cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the fan in water or other liquid. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
