INTENDED USE

The appliance can be used to cook solid foods. Do not use the appliance to cook liquid foods.

This appliance must not be used for commercial and industrial purposes.

Any other use of the appliance is not intended by the Manufacturer, which is exempt from any liability for damage of any kind, generated by improper use of the appliance.

Improper use also results in voiding any form of warranty.

SAFETY WARNINGS

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE.

  • The appliance has been designed to be used for household purposes or similar, such as:
  • in cooking areas reserved for shop staff, offices and other professional environments
  • on farms
  • hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts and other residential facilities (for use by guests).
  • Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in this manual. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for misuse or for any use other than those specified in this manual. Improper use also results in voiding any form of warranty.
  • We suggest keeping the original packaging, as free assistance is not provided for failures resulting from inadequate packaging of the product at the time of shipping to an authorized Service Centre.
  • In order not to compromise the safety of the appliance, use only original spare parts and accessories authorized by the manufacturer.

Danger for children

  • The appliance can be used by children over 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or who lack experience or knowledge, only if they are supervised by a responsible person or if they have received and understood the instructions and the existing dangers when using the appliance.
    • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and maintenance by the user shall not be carried out by children unless they are older than 8 years and are supervised during the operation.
  • Always keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8.
  • Do not let the power cord hang in a place where it could be grasped by a child.
  • Position the appliance so that children cannot reach the hot parts.
  • Do not leave the packaging near children as it is a potential source of danger.
  • If you decide to dispose of this appliance as waste, it is recommended to make it inoperative by cutting the power cord. It is also recommended to make harmless the parts of the appliance which could constitute a danger, especially for children who could use the appliance as a game.

Warning of burns

  • Unplug the appliance from the power outlet and wait for the hot parts to cool down before carrying out any cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • The cooking compartment, the accessories and the internal metal parts of the appliance can become hot during use. Keep your hands and face away from the hot parts of the appliance.
  • Do not touch the cooking compartment, the accessories and the internal metal parts of the appliance when the appliance is operational or in the minutes following its shut-down. Wait for the cooling of hot parts.
  • Use pot holders or tea towels to remove the accessories.
    • Always grasp the handle to open the appliance door.
  • Hot steam may escape from the cooking compartment of the appliance during cooking. Keep your hands and face away from the cooking compartment.
  • Do not fill the drip pan with oil. Danger of fire.
  • When you open the door, or when you remove the accessories from the cooking compartment, hot air and steam also come out. Keep your hands and face away from the cooking compartment.

Danger due to electricity

  • The use of extension cords not authorized by the manufacturer can lead to damages and accidents.
    • Always connect the appliance to an earthed socket.
  • Do not connect any other high-power equipment (such as stoves, irons, radiators) to the same power outlet. Danger of electric overload.
  • Never pull the power cord or the appliance to disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
  • Never put live parts in contact with water: risk of short circuit and/or electric shock.
  • Do not leave the power cord against sharp parts or sharp edges.
  • The power cord shall not touch hot surfaces.
  • Never immerse the appliance, the plug and the power cord in water or other liquids.
  • Do not use the appliance if your hands are wet or if you are barefoot.
  • If the appliance is left unused, also for a short period of time, turn it off and always unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended while connected to the power supply.

Warning - material damage

  • Do not insert an excessive amount of food to be cooked. Danger of fire and/or electric shock.
  • Do not insert utensils, metal objects, aluminium foil, or flammable materials (for example cardboard, plastic) into the accessories or the cooking compartment. Danger of fire and/or electric shock.
  • The appliance shall be used and left at rest on a stable surface.
  • Do not place the appliance on very hot surfaces or near open flames to prevent the coating from being damaged.
  • Do not place the appliance near inflammable materials (such as fabrics, curtains).
  • Do not place the appliance or the power cord near or over hot electric or gas stoves, or near a microwave or electric oven.
  • Fully unwind the power cord before use.
  • The appliance must not be powered by external timers or separate remote-controlled systems.
  • If the appliance produces smoke during operation, immediately unplug the appliance from the power outlet. Contact the nearest authorized technical service centre to solve the problem.
  • Never add liquid ingredients into the drip pan. If necessary for cooking needs, add small quantities of liquid. Always check that the liquid has been absorbed by the solid ingredients before adding more.

  • Do not place objects on the appliance door when it is open.

  • Always and only insert the ingredients into the accessories supplied, to avoid food contact with the electric resistances.
  • Always check that the accessories are properly inserted into the cooking compartment before starting the appliance.
  • Never use the appliance without inserting at least one of the accessories into the cooking compartment.
  • Do not use metal utensils to remove food from the accessories.
  • Before putting the appliance into operation, check that the accessories and the cooking compartment are free from foreign objects.
  • Never place objects on the appliance.
  • Do not obstruct the air intake when the appliance is operational, to avoid material damage and/or the appliance overheating.
  • Do not operate the appliance empty.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (such as rain or sun).
  • After unplugging the appliance and when hot parts have cooled down, only clean the appliance using a damp, non-abrasive cloth and a few drops of mild, non-aggressive detergent. Never use solvents that damage plastic parts.

  • Place the appliance at a distance of at least 10 cm from walls, furniture or other appliances.
  • In order to lift the appliance, hold it by the body.
  • Do not move the appliance without removing the food from the accessories.
  • Place the appliance in an environment that is sufficiently lit, clean and where the power outlet is easily accessible.
  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface.
  • The appliance shall not be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage. Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if the appliance is faulty. All repairs, including the power cord replacement, shall be carried out only by authorized Service Centres or technicians, in order to prevent any risk.
  • Do not insert closed food storage containers in the appliance. The food storage container may explode during cooking.

BEFORE USE

1 Remove the packing material (Fig. 3) and check that all components are present (Fig. 4).
2 Check the integrity of the content.

Do not operate the appliance if damaged.

3 Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface (Fig. 5).

Check the voltage indicated on the data plate under the appliance matches the local voltage supply.

4 Fully unwind the power cord.

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the removable parts that come into contact with food (Fig. 6).

Warning

Never immerse the appliance, the plug and the power cord in water or other liquids.

5 Wash the accessories. Use a common dish detergent and a soft non-abrasive sponge. Dry well.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before cooking

When using the appliance for the first time, you may notice the release of a slight smell and a little smoke: this is to be considered perfectly normal because some parts have been slightly lubricated, it will stop occurring after a short time. This will have no effect on the operation of the appliance.

Warning

Danger of breaking the door glass. Do not pour water or other liquids on the door glass when it is hot.

Do not place objects on the appliance door when it is open.

Before putting the appliance into operation, check that the accessories and the cooking compartment are free from foreign objects.

Before cooking food, always remove any containers or packages (for example bottles, boxes).

1 Place the food to be cooked into the chosen accessory (Fig. 7).

More than one accessory can be placed in the cooking compartment (B) at the same time to cook more food.

Do not overload the accessories with an excessive quantity of food.

Warning

Never add liquid ingredients into the drip pan. If necessary for cooking needs, add small quantities of liquid. Always check that the liquid has been absorbed by the solid ingredients before adding more.

If it is necessary to add cooking oil, it is possible to place an aluminium foil in the chosen accessory and another aluminium foil to cover the food to be cooked. This will prevent hot oil from splashing on the resistances of the cooking compartment.

When cooking food with a grill, grid pan or basket, distribute the oil evenly over the food for crispier and browner food. Then, place the food to be cooked on the grill, in the grid pan or in the basket.

When cooking food with a grill, grid pan, spit or basket, it is also possible to insert the drip pan at the lowest level of the cooking compartment to collect fat. To avoid fumes, bad smells and scale deposits, it is advisable to pour a little water into the drip pan.

2 Open the door (C) (Fig. 9).
3 Insert the chosen accessory into the cooking compartment (B) (Fig. 10).

Place the chosen accessory so that the food is at a distance of at least 2 cm from the resistances located in the upper part of the cooking compartment.

4 Close the door (C) (Fig. 11).
5 Plug the appliance into the power outlet (Fig. 12).
6 Turn the functions knob (Q) to select the desired function, depending on the food to be cooked (Fig. 13). Read the paragraph "Cooking programs" for details on the programs.
7 Turn the temperature knob (R) to set the desired speed (Fig. 14). The temperature range is between 80^ C and 230^ C.
8 Turn the time knob (S) to set the desired time (Fig. 15). The time range is between 0 and 60 min. The indicator light (T) lights up without blinking (Fig. 16). The appliance automatically starts heating (Fig. 17). The light inside the cooking compartment turns on. It is possible to set the time knob on the manual position ( ) and to observe the cooking progress through the glass door.

It is possible to open the appliance during operation, for example to mix the ingredients during the cooking process.

Danger of burns. Always grasp the handle to open the appliance door.

Metal parts and glass are hot during operation: only touch the door handle. When removing the grill or drip pan, use gloves or kitchen towels to avoid the danger of burns. Keep your hands and face away from the cooking compartment. When removing the basket or spit, use the fork provided to avoid the danger of burns. Do not touch the resistances.

10 Remove the chosen accessory from the cooking compartment (B) (Fig. 19).
11 Mix the ingredients (Fig. 20).
12 Insert the chosen accessory into the cooking compartment (Fig. 21).
13 Close the door (C) (Fig. 22).

The appliance continues to cook the ingredients (Fig. 23).

After cooking

1 When cooking is complete, the appliance emits a sound and turns off (Fig. 24). If the ingredients are not ready, place the accessory containing the ingredients back into the cooking compartment and set the timer to a few more minutes.

Alternatively, you can manually stop the cooking process. Turn the time knob clockwise until the timer sounds. The appliance stops the cooking process.

2 Unplug the appliance from the power outlet (Fig. 25).
3 Open the door (C) (Fig. 26).

4 Remove the chosen accessory from the cooking compartment (B) (Fig. 27).

5 Put the food on a plate (Fig. 28). Serve out.

At the end of the cooking process, the appliance can be used immediately to prepare other food.

Using the spit with forks

1 Place one of the forks on the spit. Check that the two tips of the fork are pointing inwards. Screw the locking screw (O) to secure the fork to the spit (Fig. 30).
2 Tie the meat to be cooked with twine and stick it in the fork on the spit. Check that the meat is well centred.
3 Place the other fork on the spit. Check that the two tips of the fork are pointing inwards. Screw the locking screw (O) to secure the fork to the spit (Fig. 30).
- If necessary, slightly unscrew the locking screws to properly centre the meat on the spit. Screw back the locking screws.
4 Insert one end of the spit into the seat located in line with the right motorized support (G) (Fig. 31).
5 Insert the opposite end into the seat located on the left support (F) (Fig. 32).
6 Place the drip pan (L) at the lowest level of the cooking department to collect fat. To avoid fumes, bad smells and scale deposits, it is advisable to pour a little water into the drip pan.
7 Proceed with cooking the food as described in the paragraph "Instructions for use".

Spit rotation is available for all functions. If inserted, the spit rotates automatically while cooking food.

8 After cooking, use the removal fork (P) to remove the spit from the cooking compartment (B) (Fig. 33).

Using the basket

1 Unscrew the locking screws (O) of the rotisserie. Remove the forks from the rotisserie spit (N) (Fig. 34).
2 Insert the basket (M) on the rotisserie spit (Fig. 35). Screw the locking screws (O) to the two ends of the basket (M) to secure the basket to the spit (Fig. 36).
3 Lift the hook to open the basket (Fig. 37).
4 Place the food into the basket (Fig. 38).
5 Close the basket hook (Fig. 39).
6 Place the drip pan (L) at the lowest level of the cooking department to collect fat. To avoid fumes, bad smells and scale deposits, it is advisable to pour a little water into the drip pan.
7 Proceed with cooking the food as described in the paragraph "Instructions for use".

Basket rotation is available for all functions. If inserted, the basket rotates automatically while cooking food.

8 When cooking is complete, use the removal fork (P) to lift the spit from the left-hand side of the support and then pull the other end out of the right-hand motorised support (Fig. 40).

  • Pre-heating the appliance before cooking food optimizes the final result.
  • The smaller ingredients require a shorter cooking time compared to the bigger ingredients.
  • A larger amount of ingredients requires a slightly longer preparation time while a smaller amount requires a slightly shorter time.
  • Stirring the smaller ingredients while cooking optimizes the final result and helps to cook the ingredients evenly.
  • For a crispier result, add a tablespoon of oil to fresh or frozen potatoes (Fig. 8).
  • Use ready-made doughs to prepare stuffed snacks quickly and easily. Moreover, ready-made doughs cook faster than the home made ones.
  • Do not cook too fatty foods.
  • You can use the appliance to reheat cooked food. Set the temperature to 150 °C for 10 minutes.

Cooking programs

The following table shows which types of food can be cooked according to the OVEN or AIR FRYER function.

The AIR FRYER function ( ) suitable for fast, even and crispy cooking with the addition of a tablespoon of oil.

The OVEN function (☐ is suitable for traditional baking (such as roast, bread and cakes).

The cooking time is approximate, it depends also on the thickness and the quantity of the ingredients used. It is possible to change the cooking time and temperature.

Dehydration function

The dehydration function allows to effectively dehydrate foods for optimal storage. Warm air circulates freely inside the appliance drying the foods evenly while minimising the loss of healthy vitamins.

This function can be used to enjoy fruits, vegetables and mushrooms, or to dry flowers and plants, meat and fish.

It is recommended to dry at a maximum temperature of 80^ C for 4-12 h.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Regular and daily cleaning maintains the appliance efficient and extends the life of the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance operations shall be carried out when the appliance is off and unplugged from the power outlet.
