USER MANUAL FX-FA1 Fuxtec
This manual contains safety, assembly, use and maintenance instrucons. Please read these instrucons carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Your child's safety may be compromised if you do not follow these instrucons. 12. Scope of delivery

Step 1: Set up the frame by pulling on the top edge (see illustraon). Step 2: Pull the strap backwards by hand, as shown in the illustraon, unl you hear a "click" to conrm that the parts are locked together. You may also need to push from the inside to support the locking mechanism. Step 3: Repeat the above steps on the other side to ensure that both sides are connected correctly. Step 4: Aach the back pocket: align the plasc holes over the respecve tube openings and insert the matching pins on both sides. Pull the lower loop through the upper loop as shown and pull the back of the bag ght.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Step 1: Insert both ends of the push handle into the plasc holes in the frame. Step 2: Aer plugging in, make sure that the handle is locked unl you hear a "click" sound. Step 3: To remove the push handle, rst press the removal buon on one side and pull it out slightly to release the lock. Then repeat the procedure described above to release the other side and then pull out the push handle on both sides simultaneously. Step 4: To adjust the height of the push handle, press the push buons on the joints on both sides simultaneously.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Mounting the rear wheels
Step 1: Insert the quick-release axle into the axle mount on the rear wheel as shown. To do this, press on the rubber cap unl the thru axle is fully inserted through the axle mount. Step 2: Insert the wheel into the hole guide provided on the frame using the protruding thru axle. Push the wheel in unl you hear a ‘click’. Step 3: To remove the rear wheel from the frame, press the rubber cap of the quick-release axle fully in to release the locking mechanism. You can now remove the wheel again. IMPORTANT NOTE Please ensure that the wheels are correctly locked before each use.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Mounting the front wheels
Step 1: Slide the front wheel holder into the designated posion on the frame on both the le and right- hand side. Step 2: Aach the wheel brackets rmly to the frame using the screws and Allen key supplied. Step 3: Press the buon for the quick-release bracket for the front wheels and insert the front wheel from below into the opening provided in the wheel bracket while pressing the buon. Step 4: Press the buon for the quick-release bracket of the front wheels to remove the respecve front wheel. Mounting the drawbar
Step 1: Press the buon for the quick-release bracket for the front wheels and guide the drawbar into the opening provided unl you hear a ‘click’. The drawbar is now rmly aached to the frame. Step 2: Use the loop connecon and the safety ring to create a second connecon between the drawbar and the frame.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Installation of the sun protection
Aenon! The safety ag is an important safety feature that is used to signal to someone that a trailer is being towed behind the bicycle. Important! Always use the ag if you want to use the trolley as a bicycle trailer. Aach the sun and rain cover to the top of the frame and clip it in at the boom or side.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Installation of the rain cover
Mounting the adapter for attaching the drawbar
Step 1: Loosen the wheel hub (depending on the model) on your bike. Tip: When using the pushchair as a bicycle trailer, please always use the rain cover to prevent soiling of the interior.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Connecting the car to the bike
Step 1: Aach the trailer hitch to the frame and use the double locking pin to secure it. Step 2: Aer sliding the head of the rod into the designated opening of the adapter, secure it. Step 2: Aach the adapter to your rear wheel.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Use of seat belts Seat belt for model: FX-FA1S (single-seater)
Step 3: Wrap the tow bar safety strap around your bike frame as shown. Step 4: When using the seat belt, ensure that it never comes into contact with the spokes of the re. If necessary, wrap the belt around the frame several mes and then secure it.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Seat belt for model: FX-FA1 (two-seater)
If there is only one child in the FX-FA1 trailer (two-seater), make sure that he or she sits in the middle or on the right side (in the direcon of travel). Always ensure that the seat belts are correctly fastened to prevent the child from slipping out of the stroller. Please do not leave your child unaended in the trailer.
Converng the harnesses to the center posion:
1. Loosen the center buckle (crotch posion) and fasten it in the center of the seat.
2. Repeat this step for the waist and shoulder straps.
3. The height of the shoulder strap can be adjusted according to the child's height.
Note: This feature is only available on FX-FA1 models with two seats. This feature is not available on other models. IMPORTANT NOTICE Always use the restraint system! IMPORTANT! When the belt is fastened or unfastened, its ends must be kept out of reach of small children. These are small parts and may pose a choking hazard.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Using the car as a bicycle trailer
IMPORTANT NOTICE Please carefully check that the wheels are properly locked before each use. Connect the stroller to the bike as described in 2.9. Please ensure that all connecons are correct and secure. If you want to use the front wheels, install them as described in 2.4. Make sure the wheels are securely aached. If you don't want to use the front wheels, store them in the rear bag. Make sure the passengers are correctly posioned and the seat belts are securely fastened.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Using the stroller as a buggy
Aer removing the trailer hitch, store it in the rear bag. Insert the front wheels into their respecve mounts. Adjust the push handle to a height that suits you. For safety reasons, use the wrist strap to always maintain contact with the car. IMPORTANT NOTICE Please carefully check that the wheels are properly locked before each use.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
Using the parking brake
As soon as the car is parked, you should always engage the parking brake. To do this, press the pedal unl you hear a "click." To release the brake, repeat the process.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
There is a risk of crushing on the side walls of the trailer and the frame when folding! Always fold or unfold the trailer slowly and carefully. Step 1: Press the levers on both sides of the trailer. Step 2: Carefully push the levers forward and then push the cover down to arrange the fabric cover in a space-saving manner.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
The stroller's fabrics can be cleaned with a sponge and warm soapy water. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents (chlorine, etc.) to clean the fabric upholstery. Instead, use a mild soapy water soluon or a special texle cleaning agent. To clean the trailer: Use only mild soap and water. Do not use any cleaning agents. Check regularly that all fastenings and equipment (wheels, reectors, ag, etc.) are secure and correctly installed. Have a qualied bicycle mechanic perform a roune safety check on your bicycle before connecng it to the trailer. We recommend that you have your bike serviced rounely every year. Do not leave the trailer outdoors aer use. Inclement weather and harsh elements can stress the trailer's fabric.
17. Warning and safety instrucons
- IMPORTANT! Please keep these instrucons for future reference. Failure to follow these instrucons may compromise your child's safety. It is important that all persons who use the stroller and accessories know how to handle them, even if they only use the stroller for a short me. Please note that these instrucons cannot eliminate all possible hazards to which a child may be exposed when using this product. The user is responsible for the child's safety. If you have any further quesons, FUXTEC customer service will be happy to help.
- The user must be at least 16 years old and have carefully read and understood the operang instrucons.
- Read the instrucons carefully and familiarize yourself with the stroller before using it with your child.
- If your stroller is used by other people who are not familiar with it (e.g. grandparents), always explain how to use it to them in advance.
- Your child's safety may be compromised if you do not follow these instrucons.
- Please keep the instrucons for use carefully for future reference.
- Only original spare parts from or recommended by FUXTEC GmbH may be used.
- Modicaons or subsequent addions, especially to the trailer coupling, are not permied.
- Any load aached to the handlebar will aect the stability of the child seat.
- Do not use this child carrier on stairs or escalators.
- Do not carry addional children or bags on this child carrier.FX-FA1_FA1S_Int24_rev01
- Never leave the child unaended.
- When folding and unfolding this child seat, be careful to prevent your child's ngers from being caught. To avoid injury, ensure your child is kept away while unfolding and folding this product.
- Make sure that the child's body, clothing, shoelaces or toys do not touch any moving parts.
- Do not install a car seat or any other seat device not approved by FUXTEC on this child seat.
- Always wear a helmet according to local regulaons.
- Never ride your bike at night without adequate lighng. Follow all local laws.
- Be extremely careful when driving with a trailer, never exceed 20 km/h and slow down to walking speed (less than 7 km/h) on bends and uneven roads.
- The drawbar load should not be less than 3 kg and not more than 8 kg.
- When towing a trailer, the buggy wheel must be removed.
- Always use the tow bar's fastening strap and secure the drawbar to the bike frame.
- Failure to observe the fastening strap of the trailer hitch can result in the FUXTEC bicycle trailer becoming detached from the bicycle.
- The bicycle should be safety checked by a qualied bicycle mechanic before aaching the trailer.
- The trailer may only be used when all locking devices are engaged and both wheels are securely locked.
- The trailer changes the bike's stability, braking requirements, and handling characteriscs. Always ride defensively and with foresight.
- When turning right, the angle between the towing bicycle and the FX- FA1/FX-FA1 S must not exceed 45 °. When turning le, the angle must not exceed 90°.
- The aached trailer signicantly increases the braking distance of the bicycle.
- Further safety informaon:
- This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months unless used with approved FUXTEC baby accessories (e.g. baby car seat or hammock).
- Children must be at least 6 months old and able to sit upright without assistance.
- When cycling, your child must be old enough to wear a helmet and sit upright without supervision. Consult a pediatrician if your child is under one year old.
- Always use the internal safety belts to avoid serious injuries from falling or slipping out.
- If only one child is being transported, he or she should sit in the middle or on the right side of the forward-facing seat.
- Only one child may be transported per trip. Balanced load distribuon must be ensured.
- The weather cover should be closed when used as a bicycle trailer, as should the insect net.
- Make sure the cabin is well venlated in high temperatures.
- Do not allow your child to play with this product.
- Do not use this child seat near open re or ames.
- The product is not suitable for skang.
- Only spare parts recommended by FUXTEC may be used.
- Make sure that the permissible air pressures are observed: o Wheels: 2.5–3 bar o Buggy wheel: max. 1.9 bar o Vibratory wheel : 2.5 bar
- The maximum permissible total weight for unbraked trailers is 40 kg (according to StVZO).
- A reecve reector in accordance with local regulaons must be aached to the child carrier.

The packaging material is made of recyclable materials and should be disposed of in accordance with the applicable disposal regulaons. Please contact your local municipality for informaon on how to properly dispose of the device. Make sure to properly remove and dispose of all operang materials such as gasoline and oil beforehand.
