Which batteries are compatible with the Vonroc S_WL503DC light?

Only batteries from the Vonroc VPOWER 20 V platform are compatible: models CD801AA (20 V, 2 Ah) and CD803AA (20 V, 4 Ah). Using other batteries may damage the device or cause injury.

How to charge the battery of the light?

Remove the battery from the light, fully insert it into the CD802AA charger (recommended), then plug the charger into a power outlet. The indicators show the charging status: solid red = charging, solid green = fully charged. A 2 Ah battery charges in about 60 minutes, a 4 Ah battery in 120 minutes.

How to adjust the direction of the light?

Loosen the locking knobs (4) on each side of the lamp head (2), tilt the head to the desired position (300° rotation), then retighten the knobs to lock.

Can the light be used outdoors?

No. The light is designed for indoor use only as a temporary mobile light source. It is not approved for road use and must not be exposed to rain.

What is the light output and battery life per mode?

Mode I: 10 W, 900 lm; Mode II: 20 W, 1800 lm. With a 2 Ah battery: life of 4 h (I) or 2 h (II). With a 4 Ah battery: 8 h (I) or 4 h (II).

What to do if the light does not turn on?

First check that the battery is charged (press the LED button on the battery). If the battery is empty, recharge it. Ensure the battery is properly inserted. If the problem persists, contact Vonroc after-sales service.

How to clean the light?

Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with mild soapy water. Never use solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or ammonia which could damage the synthetic components.

Is the LED replaceable?

No, the LED light source is not replaceable. At the end of its life, the light must be disposed of according to electronic waste regulations.

What is the warranty period?

The warranty covers defects in parts and labor for the legal duration (usually 2 years from date of purchase). Damage from normal wear, misuse, or unauthorized repairs is excluded.

Can I use the light with a charger other than the CD802AA?

It is strongly recommended to use only the CD802AA charger intended for VPOWER 20 V batteries. Using another charger may damage the battery or pose a safety risk.

1.SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR WORK LIGHT

a) Please read and observe all safety warnings and instructions enclosed with the battery or the power tool with which the battery was provided.

b) Do not work with the rechargeable work light in hazardous areas.

c) After the automatic shut-off of the rechargeable work light, do not continue to press the On/Off button. The work light should be recharged first.

d) Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and do not stare into the light beam yourself (not even from a distance).

e) Do not cover off the lens while operating the rechargeable work light. The work light heats up during operation and can cause burns when the heat is allowed to accumulate.

f) Do not use the rechargeable work light in road traffic. The rechargeable work light is not approved for illumination in road traffic.

g) Do not allow children to use the rechargeable work light. It is intended for professional use. Children can unintentionally blind themselves or other persons.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY

a) Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circuiting.

b) Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Danger of explosion.

c) In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapours may be emitted. Ventilate the area and seek medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irritate the respiratory system.

d) Use the battery only in conjunction with your Vonroc product. This measure alone protects the battery against dangerous overload.

e) The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit can occur and the battery can burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

Intended use

Charge only CD801AA and CD803AA type rechargeable Battery packs with the charger. Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage.

The batteries of the VONROC VPOWER 20V battery platform are interchangeable with all the VONROC VPOWER 20V battery platform tools.

3.ASEMBLY

Before any work on the power tool, remove the battery.

The battery must be charged before first use.

Inserting the battery into the machine (Fig. D)

Ensure that the exterior of the battery is clean and dry before connecting to the charger or machine.

1. Insert the battery (8) into the base of the machine as shown in Fig. D.
2. Push the battery forward until t clicks into place.

Removing the battery from the machine (Fig. D)

1. Push the battery unlock button (10)
2. Pull the battery out of the machine as shown in Fig. D.

Checking the battery charging status (Fig. E)

• To check the battery charge status, push the button (11) on the battery shortly.
• The battery has 3 LED lights indicating the charge level.
• When none of the indicators light up the battery is empty and must be charged immediately.

Charging the battery with the charger (Fig. E)

1. Remove the battery (8) from the machine.
2. Turn the battery (8) to upside down position and slide it onto the charger (9) as shown in Fig. E.
3. Make sure that the battery (8) is fully inserted into the slot.
4. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. After a short while the LED indicators on the charger (13) will light up to show the charger status.

• Fully charging a 2Ah battery may take up to 60 minutes.
• Fully charging a 4Ah battery may take up to 120 minutes.

After the battery is fully charged remove the charger plug from the outlet and remove the battery from the charger.

When the machine is not being used over a longer period of time it is best to store the battery in charged condition.

4. OPERATION

On/Off switch (Fig. B)

• To turn on the work light, select the desired operating mode (I / II) using the On/Off switch (7).
• To switch the work light off, select '0' using the On/Off switch (7).

Adjusting the lamp body (Fig. C)

The position of the lamp body (2) may be adjusted over a 300^ range by swiveling up and down.

1. Release the locking knobs (4) on both sides of the lamp body (2)
2. Adjust the lamp body (2) to the desired position
3. Secure the lamp body (2) in place by tightening the locking knobs (4) on both sides.

Hanging hook (Fig. A)

The lamp base (5) is equipped with a hanging hook (6). The hanging hook may be used to hang the lamp upside down to light your work area from above. When not in use, the hanging hook (6) should be folded back into its initial position on the lamp base (5).

5.MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the machine and remove the battery pack from the machine.

Replace the light in case the glass covers become damaged. Damaged lights can not be repaired and must be disposed of.

The LED light source in this lamp is not replaceable. When the LED light source has reached the end of its life the light must be disposed of.

Cleaning

Clean the machine exterior regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Remove very persistent dirt using a soft cloth moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such as these will damage the synthetic components of the work light.

VONROC products are developed to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed free of defects in both materials and workmanship for the period lawfully stipulated starting from the date of original purchase. Should the product develop any

failure during this period due to defective material and/or workmanship then contact VONROC directly.

The following circumstances are excluded from this guarantee:

• Repairs and or alterations have been made or attempted to the machine by unauthorized service centers;
• Normal wear and tear;
• The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained;
• Non-original spare parts have been used.

This constitutes the sole warranty made by company either expressed or implied. There are no other warranties expressed or implied which extend beyond the face hereof, herein, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall VONROC be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. The dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or replacement of nonconforming units or parts.
