Frequently Asked Questions - PWD 25 B3 PARKSIDE

Can I vacuum water with this vacuum cleaner?
Yes, the PWD 25 B3 is designed for wet vacuuming. Be sure to use the provided foam filter and remove the paper dust bag. The float automatically stops suction when the container is full.
How do I clean the pleated filter?
Use the self-cleaning function: plug in the appliance, turn it on, block the hose, then press the self-cleaning button 5 times for 3 seconds. You can also clean it manually after removing it.
What is the container capacity?
The metal container has a capacity of approximately 25 liters. For liquids, do not exceed the maximum level indicated by the float.
Can I use the vacuum cleaner as a blower?
Yes, connect the flexible hose to the blower port located on the top of the appliance. You can then blow away dust or debris.
How do I know if the pleated filter is damaged?
Visually check that it is not deformed or torn. A damaged filter reduces performance and must be replaced with an original model (ref. 939269201).
Can the power cord be stored easily?
Yes, wind the cord around the cable holder and secure the plug with the provided clip.
What should I do if suction is weak?
Check that the container is not full, the filter is not clogged, and no blockage obstructs the hose, tube, or nozzles. Clean the pleated filter if necessary.
Can I use the vacuum cleaner without a dust bag?
Yes, for dry vacuuming, you can directly use the pleated filter. The paper dust bag is recommended for fine dust to facilitate emptying.
Which types of waste should never be vacuumed?
Never vacuum explosive gases, flammable liquids, reactive metal dust, strong acids or bases, soot or glowing ash, cement dust, plaster or lime.
How do I maintain the vacuum cleaner?
Unplug the appliance before any maintenance. Clean the exterior with a dry cloth, empty the container after each use, and check the condition of the filters regularly. Store it in a dry, frost-free place.
