How to turn the scale on and off?

Press the ON/OFF button to turn it on. To turn it off, press ON/OFF again. The automatic shut-off activates after 2 minutes of inactivity.

How to use the tare function?

Place your empty container, then press the Z/T button to reset the display to zero. Add ingredients; the net weight is displayed. The TARE icon appears on the screen.

How to change the weight unit?

During weighing, press the UNIT button to switch between metric (kg, g) and imperial (lb, oz) systems.

How to set the timer with alarm?

Turn on the scale, press T-SET. Use ▲ and ▼ to set the time (max 99:59). Press T-SET again to start the countdown. The alarm sounds 60 times at zero.

What to do if the screen displays 'Lo' or 'Err'?

Lo means the battery is low: replace it with a 9V battery. Err indicates overload: remove ingredients to avoid exceeding the maximum capacity.

Which battery to use?

Use a 9V battery respecting polarity. Open the battery compartment under the scale to install it.

How to clean the scale?

Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Never immerse the scale in water and do not use chemicals or abrasives.

What to do if the scale does not turn on?

Check the battery: make sure it is correctly installed and not discharged. Replace it if necessary.

What is the maximum weighing capacity?

The maximum capacity is indicated on the scale itself. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damaging the device.

How does the automatic shut-off work?

The scale automatically turns off after 2 minutes if the display remains at zero or if the weight does not change. This saves battery.

CLEANING AND CARE

1. Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
2. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar and strongly flavored/colored foods. Avoid contact with acids and citrus juices.
3. Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpets.

TO REPLACE THE BATTERY

Remove the battery compartment cover and attach a new battery onto the 9-volt battery snaps. Please observe the polarity.

TO OPERATE THE SCALE

1. Please put the scale on a hard and flat surface.
2. Place the bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the unit.
3. Press and release the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit.
4. Wait until the LCD shows all information.

TO CONVERT THE WEIGHT UNIT

If the scale has both Metric (kilograms, grams) and Imperial (pounds, ounces) measuring systems, you can press UNIT to convert between the two systems during the course of weighing.

"ZERO" OR "TARE" FUNCTION

To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale, put the first load on the scale and get the weight reading. Press the Z/T button to reset the LCD reading to "0" before adding the next load. You can repeat this operation.

The LCD will show “----” or “0g” each time Z/T is pressed. “----” means not stable, please wait for a moment. “0g” and a “ZERO” icon on the lower left corner of the LCD means the “ZERO” function is active. Maximum capacity remains unchanged.

TO SET THE ALARM TIMER

1. Press T-SET to confirm and go to the next digit.
2. After setting the time span, press T-SET to start counting down.
3. Press any key to stop counting down.
4. Press T-SET to clear the time span.
5. When the timer counts down to "00:00", the alarm will start beeping 60 times and the scale will automatically shut off.
6. Maximum time span: 99:59.
