This scale works on the principle of Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). By measuring the electrical resistance and the final calculation of the constant values (age, height, sex, activity level) it is possible to determine the percentage of body fat, body water and muscle percentage in the body. The scale is able to facilitate 10 persons. In order to ensure accurate results users should enter the following personal parameters: - Gender; - Height; - Age.
- We recommend that you read this manual before using the scale.
- Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference. The scale operates with 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (included). - To avoid tipping the unit, do not stand on the corners of the platform.
- Do not use the scales if you have a pacemaker or other internal electronic medical device.
- Pregnant women should use the weight function only.
- Do not open the scale in the event of a malfunction. This product should only be opened by a qualified technician.
- Do not expose the scale to high temperatures or humidity.
- Remove the batteries if they will not be used for a long period of time.4 Installation instructions

Install the batteries
1. Open the battery cover (on the underside of the scale) by releasing the clip and lifting the cover.
Be sure the polarity of the batteries is set properly.
Select weighing mode Switch the scale on (ON/OFF button). Use the Weight units selection button (underside of scale) to select the weight units (KG/LB/ST). Place the scale Place the scale on a firm, flat and even surface to ensure accuracy.5 User instructions
Setting and storing personal data The scale can store personal data for up to 10 persons.
1. Press the ON/OFF button.
The personal key number flashes.
The gender symbols flash.
4. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select user gender and condition:
The display shows the height.
The display shows the age (user age range may be between 6 and 100 years).
The personal data is now set and stored. Weighing
1. Press the ON/OFF button.
2. Use the UP/DOWN button to select your personal key number.
3. Step on the scale with bare feet and wait while the scale analyses your weight.

Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives. Replace batteries Open the battery cover (on the underside of the scale) by releasing the clip and lifting the cover. Replace the batteries.
Be sure the polarity of the batteries is set properly. Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Close the cover. Troubleshooting Carry out the following checks if the scale is not working properly:
- Make sure that the scale is not damaged.
- Make sure that all display settings are set properly. LCD screen displays: “LO” Install new batteries. “Err” of “OL” Maximum weight has been exceeded. “Err 2%” Indicates the error margin in the body fat percentage.
