What type of water to use in the tank?

It is recommended to use tap water or demineralized water. Avoid water containing additives such as starch, perfumes, or softeners, as they may damage the device.

How to descale the steam cleaner?

To descale, mix white vinegar and water in equal parts, fill the tank, heat up and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then rinse with clean water. Perform this operation as soon as steam power decreases.

Can I use the device on all fabrics?

Yes, the steamer is suitable for most fabrics (cotton, linen, polyester, silk). For delicate fabrics, test first on a hidden area or use low steam power.

What to do if steam is weak or non-existent?

Check that the tank has enough water. If the problem persists, descaling is probably necessary. Also make sure the device has heated up properly (about 30 seconds).

Does the device turn off automatically?

Yes, the steam cleaner has an automatic safety shut-off in case of overheating or if the tank is empty. It turns back on after cooling.

How to clean the diffusion head?

Let the device cool down, then wipe the head with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging it in water. Limescale residues can be removed with white vinegar.

Can I use an extension cord?

Yes, but make sure the extension cord is fully unrolled, supports the device's power (1500 W), and does not pose a tripping hazard.

What to do in case of hot water projection?

This can happen if the device is tilted or used horizontally. Always keep the diffusion head vertically, top to bottom. Never steam a worn garment.

How long does the warranty last?

The SteamOne warranty is 2 years on the entire device and 5 years on the boiler (only in France and Belgium) from the date of purchase.

• To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.

• The fabric steamer must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
• Keep the fabric steamer and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
  The filling opening must not be opened during use.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

• To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
• If necessary, use an extension cord specifically designed for appliances, lesser cords may overheat.
• When you notice that your product is losing power, make sure that you have descaled it. For more frequent use, we recommend descaling as soon as your appliance loses power.

SteamOne warranty

This product is covered during the warranty period by SteamOne (contact details page 11) against any manufacturing defect. The warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase and in the country specified.

This SteamOne warranty is in addition to your consumer rights.

All repair costs for a product recognized as having a defect are covered by the SteamOne warranty, in order to return it to a state of compliance with its original specifications, either through repair, or possible replacement, of the defective parts. SteamOne may decide to offer a replacement product instead of repairing the defective one, depending on the situation.

SteamOne's obligations defined under the terms of this warranty are limited exclusively to repair or replacement, as stipulated above.

Warranty terms and exclusions

• The warranty period is that of the country of use of the product, even if the warranty period in the country of purchase is different.

• The SteamOne warranty is only valid if local standards (voltage, electrical frequency, type of electric socket and all other local specifications) are compatible with the product.

• The application of the SteamOne warranty may take longer if the model in question is not marketed in the country of use.

• If the product covered by the warranty cannot be repaired in the country of use, the product may be replaced by an equivalent product or by another product of the same value wherever possible.

• The SteamOne warranty is only valid upon presentation of proof of purchase and the warranty card (page 12), duly completeavvd. The defective product must be either sent by registered mail to SteamOne, suitably packaged, or delivered directly to SteamOne.

• SteamOne is under no obligation to repair or replace a product that is not accompanied by proof of purchase and the warranty card.

The SteamOne warranty is not applicable in the following cases:

• Damage caused by incorrect use, non-compliance with the instruction and maintenance manual or use of an electrical power supply that is not compatible with that specified in the manual or on the product is not covered by the SteamOne warranty.
• Nor does the SteamOne warranty cover damage that is the result of negligence or unauthorized repair or modification of the product.
