How to charge the Panasonic ERCBN1 shaver?
Connect the AC adapter (RE9-86) to the main body and to the wall outlet. The charging status indicator lights up and turns off after about 1 hour when charging is complete. To check, remove and reconnect the adapter: the indicator lights up for 5 seconds and then turns off. It is recommended to charge at an ambient temperature of 0 °C to 35 °C.
Can the shaver be used in the shower?
Yes, the Panasonic ERCBN1 shaver can be used in the shower or bath. However, do not wash the AC adapter and make sure to disconnect the adapter before any cleaning.
How to clean the shaver?
After use, remove the AC adapter and the head. Rinse the main body under running water (do not immerse for long). Shake to remove water, then wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use thinner, gasoline or alcohol. Store with the cap attached after drying.
What to do if the shaver does not work?
Check that the AC adapter is disconnected (the shaver does not work when plugged in). Make sure the battery is charged and the ambient temperature is above 0 °C. If the problem persists, recharge the battery for 8 hours. If the operating time remains short, the battery is at the end of its life.
How long does a full charge take?
Full charge takes about 1 hour. The charging status indicator turns off when charging is complete. For first use or after 6 months of inactivity, charge for more than 8 hours.
How to replace the battery?
The built-in Ni-MH battery can only be replaced by an authorized service center. For disposal, you can remove it yourself by following the steps in the manual: discharge the battery, then disassemble the body with a Phillips screwdriver, insulating the terminals with adhesive tape.
Can I use the shaver while plugged into the mains?
No, the shaver does not work when the AC adapter is connected. It must be used after a full charge and unplugged.
What to do if the charging indicator does not light up?
During the first charge or after 6 months without use, the indicator may not light up for a few minutes. In that case, charge for more than 8 hours. If the problem persists, check the ambient temperature (0 °C to 35 °C) and make sure the adapter is properly connected.
How to lubricate the shaver?
Use the provided lubrication oil. Apply it according to the instructions for the head used. Do not use other lubricants.
Where to find spare parts or have the shaver repaired?
