3. Commissioning / Charging the Powerbank / Charging connected Devices

a) Charging the Powerbank Connect the supplied microUSB cable with the microUSB port (IN) of the Powerbank and connect the other end of the USB cable with a standard USB port of a computer or USB power supply. The charging process and the current charge status is signalled via the LED status lights When the Powerbank is fully charged, the LED status lights are permanently on. The required charging me of the Powerbank is dependent on the selected charging source and its output (max. 5V / 2.1A).

The individual LEDs display the remaining energy of the Powerbank:EN - Page 4 of 7 b) Charging devices with the Powerbank This Powerbank has a USB A port (USB OUT) (Output 5V 3.1A max.) and a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 USB A port (USB QC OUT) (Output normal 5V 3.1A max.; Output Quick Charge 5-6V 3.1A max., 9V 2.0A max., 12V 1.5A max.). Normal charging: Connect the supplied USB cable with the USB A port (USB OUT) on the Powerbank and the other end of the USB cable with the microUSB port of the device to be charged (5V 3.1A max. Output). Charging with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0: To be able to use the Quick Charge Technology (you can nd more informaon at www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/quick-charge) you require a terminal device which supports this standard (if necessary, ask the manufacturer of your terminal device). Connect the supplied USB cable with the Quick Charge USB A port (USB QC OUT) to the Powerbank and the other end of the USB cable with the microUSB port of the device to be charged and compable with Quick Charge. The intelligent control of the Quick Charge 3.0 Technology now adapts the charge process to your connected device (5-6V 3.1A max., 9V 2.0A max., 12V 1.5A max.). Quick Charge 3.0 is downward compable to earlier versions, you can therefore , for example, charge a Quick Charge 2.0 device with the advantages of the Quick Charge 2.0 Technology with this Powerbank. You can also operate a device not compable with Quick Charge on the USB QC OUT port, or a Quick Charge compable device on the normal USB OUT port (Output 5V 3.1A max.). You can charge two devices simultaneously with the Powerbank, for example a Tablet at the normal USB A port (USB OUT) and a Smartphone at the Quick Charge (USB QC OUT) port. However, the Quick Charge Technology is only supported when only one Quick Charge capable device is connected to the USB QC OUT. When two devices are connected simultaneously, the normal charging standard is used for both ports and the maximum output voltage is shared between both ports (Output 5V 3.1A max.) Of course you can also use your own USB charging cable to connect the Powerbank with your device. However, please note that devices can only be charged via the USB A ports (USB A OUT / USB QC OUT) of the Powerbank and you require a Quick Charge capable USB cable for the Quick Charge Technology (if necessary, ask the manufacturer of your USB cable). If a device is charged with the Powerbank and the capacity of the Powerbank is almost exhausted, this is signalled by blinking of the last status LED. Please re-charge the Powerbank. Please note that while charging a device with a Powerbank, about 30% of the total capacity is used up just through the charging process. This is due, for example, through the loss of power from circuit warmth and voltage conversion. The Powerbank has to be used regularly for opmum performance. If this is not the case, charge the Powerbank fully at least every three months. Make sure that the warmth created through the charging process can be emied from the device (ideally place the Powerbank on a rm and heat-resistant base while in use).EN - Page 5 of 7 Do not use the device in extremely cold, hot, humid or dusty areas.
