What to do if the Sensor Control light flashes red?

The light flashes when the dust container filter or the exhaust air filter is clogged. Turn off the appliance, clean the dust container filters (Fig. 26-33) and the exhaust air filter (Fig. 34-46).

Why does the appliance adjust to the lowest power level with the red light steady?

This indicates that the dust container is full or the fluff filter is clogged. Empty the container (Fig. 19-22) and clean the fluff filter (Fig. 23-25).

Can I vacuum water with this vacuum cleaner?

No, it is strictly forbidden to vacuum wet or liquid substances. This could damage the appliance and poses an electrical risk.

How to clean the exhaust air filter?

Follow steps Fig. 34-46 from the manual. Remove the rear panel, take out the filter, clean it under running water (without detergent) and let it dry completely before reinserting.

The hose is blocked, what should I do?

Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Disassemble the hose, tube and brush to remove the blockage. Also check the filters.

How to replace a damaged power cord?

Only the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person may replace the power cord to avoid any danger.

Can I use non-Bosch accessories?

Disposal of the device after use

Safety

Read the instructions carefully. Keep the instructions and information for future use and for subsequent owners of the appliance. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged during transport.

Use the appliance only under the following conditions:

With original spare parts. For damaged parts, the use of third-party products voids the warranty. Do not damage surfaces. In domestic households and in enclosed residential areas for climatic temperatures. At altitudes up to 2000 m above sea level.

Do not use the appliance:

For cleaning people or animals. For soaking harmful, hot, or glowing substances, objects with sharp edges. For soaking wet or liquid substances. For soaking easily flammable or explosive substances, especially gases. For soaking ash, including from fireplaces and central heating. For soaking toner powder from printers and copiers. For soaking construction debris.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when:

Children aged 8 years and above, as well as persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, may use this appliance only under supervision or after receiving instructions on safe use of the appliance and after they have understood the possible dangers.

Children are forbidden to play with the device.

Children are forbidden to install and service the device without adult supervision.

Repair of the device is allowed only for qualified specialists. For repair of the device, only original spare parts may be used.

Safety

To avoid danger, in case of damage to the power cord, its replacement must be performed by the manufacturer, service center, or a person with appropriate qualifications. Never use a damaged device. It is forbidden to use the device if the surface of the plug is damaged. Do not pull the cable to disconnect the device from the network. Pull only the plug of the network cable. Never pull or hold the device by the network cable. If the device or network cable is damaged, immediately disconnect the network plug from the outlet and turn off the circuit breaker in the distribution board. Then call the service center. Use the device only in enclosed rooms. Keep the device away from high temperatures and moisture. Do not clean the device with steam or high-pressure cleaners. Do not allow contact of the power cord with sharp parts of the device or other sources of heat. Do not allow contact of the network cable with sharp objects. Do not bend, twist, or deform the power cord. The device is allowed to be connected to the electrical network and operated only in accordance with the data specified on the factory plate. The device can be connected to an AC mains only through a grounded socket, installed in accordance with current standards. The grounding conductor of the electrical system must be laid in accordance with current standards. Do not allow contact with flammable or alcohol-containing liquids. Do not use flammable or alcohol-containing liquids for cleaning the device. Always unplug the network cable. Keep hair, clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings on the device and moving parts. Never point the tube or nozzle at eyes, hair, ears, or mouth.

• When collecting, follow the instructions. During the first collection process, turn off the device and unplug the network plug from the socket. Insert the network cable into the device.
• Before automatic winding of the network cable, make sure that its plug is not caught behind objects, body parts, animals, or other objects. Keep packaging materials away from children. Do not allow children to play with packaging material.

For household use only

Never carry the device by the hose. - Regularly check the hoses for damage to their surfaces.
