How to insert batteries in the Kärcher WBS 3?

Open the battery compartment cover, insert two AA 1.5 V batteries respecting polarity (illustration B), then close the cover. Do not use different types of batteries and do not short-circuit the terminals.

How to connect the device to a water supply?

Connect a garden hose to the device's fitting using a quick coupler, then connect the hose to the water tap. Open the tap fully before use.

What are the two available spray modes?

The main switch has two positions: position 1 for a jet stream (precise cleaning) and position 2 for a rotating jet (quick cleaning of lightly soiled surfaces).

How to temporarily stop the spray?

Release the main switch. The motor stops and the spray stops immediately. To resume, press the switch again.

How to store the device after use?

Release the switch, close the water tap, then operate the switch until no more water comes out. Disconnect the hose and remove the batteries. Store the device flat, frost-free, between 0 and 35 °C.

What to do if the rotating jet no longer works?

First check the batteries: replace them with new ones if they are empty. Also check the battery contacts. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can the device be used with detergents?

No, do not use any detergents or additives. The device operates only with clean water. Using solvents, acids, or liquids containing solvents would damage the device.

Which surfaces should not be cleaned with the WBS 3?

Do not spray objects containing hazardous substances (asbestos) and do not direct the spray towards eyes or ears. Also avoid pressure-sensitive surfaces.

What is the warranty for the Kärcher WBS 3?

The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects during the legal period in your country. To activate it, keep the invoice and contact your dealer or an authorized service center.

Can the device be used by children?

No, children should not use the device. Persons with reduced capabilities may use it under supervision and after understanding the safety instructions.

⚠ WARNING • The device is not intended for use by children, persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or persons unfamiliar with these instructions. ● Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and persons lacking experience and knowledge may only use the appliance if they are properly supervised, have been instructed on use of the appliance safely by a person responsible for their safety, and understand the resultant hazards in-

Intended use

Only use the water booster WBS 3 in private households. The device is intended for cleaning lightly and superficially soiled garden furniture, toys, tools, plant pots, waste containers and garden machines. Carefully applied, the device is also suitable for watering.

Environmental protection

The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.

Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential danger to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.

Cleaning work producing in oily waste water, e.g. washing engines, washing undercarriages etc., may only be formed at washing stations with an oil separator.

Working with detergents may only be performed on watertight surfaces with connection to the waste water sew-system. Do not allow detergent to enter waterways or the

Power switch

The power switch shuts off the motor when released and the spray jet stops.

1. Open the battery cover. Illustration B
2. Insert the batteries, paying attention to the correct alignment of the poles.
3. Close the battery cover.

Connection to the water line

1. Attach the garden hose to the device connection with a commercially available quick coupling. Illustration C
2. Connect the garden hose to the water line.
3. Open the water tap fully.

Operation

Spray jet

Eye injuries and hearing damage
Do not direct the spray jet at eyes or ears.
1. Press the power switch.

Operation with point jet

The point jet is suitable for the precise cleaning of superficial dirt spots.

Interrupting operation

1. Release the power switch.
   The spray jet stops.

Ending operation

1. Release the power switch.
2. Close the water tap.
3. Actuate the power switch until no more water is emitted.
4. Release the power switch.
5. Disconnect the device from the water supply.
6. Remove the batteries from the device.
