1. Do not overll the bags, leaving enough free space at the open end of the bag to allow it to be conveniently

placed in the vacuum chamber.

2. Make sure the inner and outer surfaces at the open end of the bag are dry. It is dicult to melt and properly

seal adamp or wet bag.

3. Vacuuming will not replace food storage in the refrigerator or freezer. Perishable food must always be

stored in the refrigerator or freezer.

4. Clean and dry the open ends of the bags before vacuum packaging and sealing. Make sure there are no

dirt or creases on the edge, otherwise sealing problems and leakage may occur.

5. To avoid wrinkles when vacuum packaging and sealing bags with large amounts of food, when inserting

into the vacuum chamber, carefully stretch the open end of the bag and hold it until the pump begins to evacuate the air.

6. If you vacuum package objects with sharp edges (dry spaghetti, silver, etc.), protect the bag from puncture

by wrapping the object in asoft material such as paper napkin. Consider using asuitable container instead of abag.

7. When using accessories, be sure to leave at least 2.5 cm of space under the lid in the containers.

8. We recommend freezing the fruit and blanching the vegetables before vacuum packaging.

9. When vacuum packaging more bags, it is recommended to wait 40 sbefore next sealing.

10. If you are not sure that the bag is properly sealed, seal it again.

11. Use ECG bags for best results.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always unplug the appliance from the socket before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the surface of the machine.
  • Clean the outer surface with adamp cloth or sponge, if necessary use amild detergent.
  • Use paper towels to clean the vacuum chamber of food or liquid residues.
  • Dry the appliance thoroughly before using it again. TROUBLESHOOTING You are trying to vacuum, but nothing is happening:

1. Check the connection to the mains socket.

2. Check if the power cable is not damaged.

3. Check that the power outlet is OK by plugging in another appliance.

4. Make sure that the latches clicked properly.

5. Make sure the bag is correctly inserted into the vacuum chamber.

6. Allow the appliance to cool for 40 seconds with the lid open before using it again.

There is still air in the bag:

1. Make sure the bag is inserted correctly with open end completely into the vacuum chamber.

2. Air remains in the bag after vacuuming:

Check the bag for leaks. Seal the bag containing the air and immerse it in water. Escaping bubbles signal aleak. If bubbles appear, use anew bag.English English

3. If you are using bags reduced in size by other seals, check all seals for leaks. Afold on the bag at the seal

seam may cause leakage. If there is afold at the seal, cut it o and reseal the bag.

4. Do not create your own side seams on the special bags for vacuum sealers. They are made with special

side seams that are sealed to the outer edge. Creating your own side seams can cause leakage and loss of vacuum in the bag.

5. Do not vacuum package hot foods; after cooling, their volume may decrease due to thermal expansion

and the packaging will then appear to lose vacuum.

6. Place fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator immediately after vacuum packaging, otherwise there is

arisk that continued photosynthesis will produce additional air and cause vacuum loss in the bag.

7. Do not vacuum package fermented foods.

Fermented foods are not suitable for vacuum packaging because they release air. Vacuum in vacuum packaged and sealed bag has been lost:

1. Check the entire bag for leaks. Afold on the bag at the seal seam may cause leakage. If there is afold at the

seal, simply cut the seal o and reseal the bag.

2. In some cases, proper vacuum packaging and sealing can be complicated by the presence of liquids or

other parts of food (such as juice, sauce, crumbs, grease, etc.). Cut the seal, clean the open end of the bag and vacuum and reseal the bag.

3. A sharp edge or pointed portion of food may pierce the bag. Use anew bag in such case. Wrap the sharp

edges of the food with asuitable soft material, such as apaper towel.

4. If air appears in the bag, the food may have fermented or released gas. If this happens, the food may be

spoiled and should be disposed of. The bag melts: If the bag has melted at the seal seam, the rubber strip is probably too hot. Allow the device to cool for at least 5 minutes with the lid open before using it again.
