- The device is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
- This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
- Children must not play with the device.

Check that the exterior of the delivery cardboard packaging is intact and make sure that all components are present. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or accessories and that all packaging material has been removed. 2. Signs and symbols
The following symbols are used in these instructions for use, on the packaging and on the type plate for the device and the accessories: WARNING Warning instruction indicating a risk of injury or damage to health. 3. Getting to know your device
The illuminated cosmetics mirror aids your daily skin care and cosmetics routine. The cosmetics mirror has a normal mirror and a 3x magnifying mirror. The cosmetics mirror also has an integrated powerbank. The integrated powerbank is a mobile and recharge
able power source which you can use to charge your smartphone or another recharge- able electronic device using the USB port. Thanks to its compact design, you can easily take the cosmetics mirror away with you when you travel, for example.
Only use the powerbank of the cosmetics mirror to charge battery-powered mobile de- vices. The cosmetics mirror is intended for private use only. The purpose of the built-in lighting is simply to make it easier to see the applied cosmetics, and is not suitable for lighting a room. The cosmetics mirror may only be used for the purpose for which it is designed and in the manner specified in the instructions for use. Any form of improper use can be dan
gerous. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use.18 19
5. Warnings and safety notes
– Contact with direct sunlight poses an increased risk of fire. Therefore, you should avoid exposing the mirror area to direct sunlight. – Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject users to considerable danger. – In the event of a fault or damage, have the device repaired by a certified specialist workshop. There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are ig
nored. Therefore, observe the following instructions for use: – Always supervise the device when it is in use, especially if there are children nearby. – Never use the device underneath a cover, such as a blanket, pillow, etc. – Never use the device near petrol or other highly flammable substances. – Only use the device in dry interior rooms (e.g. never in the bath, sauna). Never reach for a device that has been submerged in water. IMPORTANT: – Before use, ensure that the device and accessories have no visible damage. If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Cus
tomer Service address. – Never open the housing. – Keep the device away from pointed or sharp objects. – If the device has been dropped or has suffered any other damage, it must no longer be used. – Protect the device from impacts, moisture, dust, chemicals, marked temperature fluc
tuations and nearby sources of heat (ovens, heaters). – You can clean the device with a damp cloth. – Ensure that the device you wish to charge is compatible with this product.19 – Use only the supplied USB charging cable to charge your powerbank. – Do not replace the original parts. Notes on handling batteries – If your skin or eyes come into contact with fluid from a battery cell, flush out the af- fected areas with water and seek medical assistance. – Protect batteries from excessive heat. – Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire. – Do not disassemble, open or crush the batteries. – Only use chargers specified in the instructions for use. – Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufac
turer and the specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times. – Fully charge the battery prior to initial use. – In order to achieve as long a battery useful life as possible, fully charge the battery at least twice per year.20 21
Charging the powerbank of the cosmetics mirror Fully charge the powerbank of the cosmetics mirror prior to initial use (approx. 4 hours). To charge the powerbank, proceed as follows:

mirror. During the charging process, the capacity display shows the current power
bank capacity. One light = 25%, two lights = 50%, three lights = 75%, four lights = 100%. If a light in the capacity display is flashing, the respective capacity level is still being charged. Once the powerbank is fully charged, all 4 lights in the capacity display light up on the cosmetics mirror.
3. To stop the charging process, disconnect the charging cable from the
powerbank or press the activation button twice. To start the charging process again, connect the charging cable with the mobile device or press the activation button. Charging smartphones using the cosmetics mirror To charge your mobile device (e.g. smartphone) using the cosmetics mirror, proceed as follows: Connect your smartphone to the cosmetics mirror using the supplied charging cable as shown. The charging process starts automatically. The powerbank automatically switches off once the smartphone battery is fully charged. If you have an iPhone, connect your smartphone to the cos- metics mirror using a Lightning cable (not included in deliv- ery). LED lighting on the cosmetics mirror The LED lighting switches on automatically when you fold open the cosmetics mirror. The lighting automatically switches off again when you fold the mirror closed.22 23
8. Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING - Disconnect the device before cleaning it. - Only clean the appliance in the manner specified. Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the device or accessories. - Do not use the device again until it is completely dry. - Do not clean the device in the dishwasher. - Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes. First unplug the device and allow it to cool off. Then you can clean it with a soft, slightly moistened cloth. Then wipe it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal. WARNING The integrated battery cannot be removed for disposal. Risk of explosion and injury. “The battery used in this device must not be disposed of in household waste, but must be disposed of correctly. “ For information on disposal, please contact the authorised seller or a municipal collection point. During disposal, it must be pointed out that the device contains a battery. Discharge the battery before disposal. Take the device and23 switch it on until the battery is flat. If it is not possible to discharge the battery due to a fault or damage, please consult your waste collection point.

11. Warranty/service
Beurer GmbH,Söflinger Straße 218, 89077 Ulm, Germany (hereinafter referred to as “Beurer”) provides a warranty for this product, subject to the requirements below and to the extent described as follows. The warranty conditions below shall not aect the seller’s statutory warranty obligations which ensue from the sales agreement with the buyer. The warranty shall apply without prejudice to any mandatory statutory provisions on liability. Beurer guarantees the perfect functionality and completeness of this product. The worldwide warranty period is 3 years, commencing from the purchase of the new, unused product from the seller. The warranty only applies to products purchased by the buyer as a consumer and used exclusively for personal purposes in the context of domestic use. German law shall apply. During the warranty period, should this product prove to be incomplete or defective in functionality in accordance with the following provisions, Beurer shall carry out a repair or a replacement delivery free of charge, in accordance with these warranty conditions. If the buyer wishes to make a warranty claim, they should approach their local retailer in the first instance: see the attached “International Service” list of service addresses. The buyer will then receive further information about the processing of the warranty claim, e.g. where they can send the product and what documentation is required.25 Subject to errors and changes A warranty claim shall only be considered if the buyer can provide Beurer, or an author- ised Beurer partner, with – a copy of the invoice/purchase receipt, and – the original product. The following are explicitly excluded from this warranty: – deterioration due to normal use or consumption of the product; – accessories supplied with this product which are worn out or used up through prop
er use (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, cuffs, seals, electrodes, light sources, attachments and nebuliser accessories); – products that are used, cleaned, stored or maintained improperly and/or contra
