The cosmetic mirror is solely for the purpose of supporting your daily skin care routine, such as as- sessing cosmetics, and has a mirror surface with 5x magnification. The purpose of the built-in light- ing is simply to improve visualisation of the applied cosmetics, and is not suitable for lighting a room. The mirror can also be removed from the wall bracket if necessary.

4. Warnings and safety notes

Please read these operating instructions carefully. Failure to observe the information provided below can lead to personal injury or material damage. Keep these instructions in a safe place where they can also be read by other persons using the device. Always pass on these instructions together with the appliance if you sell it or pass it on. Contact with direct sunlight poses an increased risk of fire. Therefore, you should avoid exposing the mirror area to direct sunlight.

  • Keep children away from the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation.
  • Children must be supervised when using this device.
  • Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by qualified persons. Incorrect repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user. In the event of repairs, please contact our customer service or an authorised dealer. There is a risk of fire if the device is used incorrectly or if it is not used according to these operating instructions. For this reason, the mirror must only be operated as follows:
  • Never leave the device unsupervised, particularly if children are around.
  • Never use the device under covers, such as blankets or pillows.
  • Never use the device in the vicinity of petrol or other easily flammable materials.
  • Only in dry inside rooms. Make sure that the device does not come into contact with water or other liquids. Never try to retrieve the device if it falls into water. CAUTION
  • Before use, make sure that the device and accessories do not show any visible signs of damage. If you are in any doubt, do not use it and contact your dealer or a specified customer service address.
  • Keep the device away from pointed or sharp objects.
  • If the device has been dropped or otherwise damaged, it must not be used again.
  • The device must be switched off after every use and before cleaning. Notes on handling batteries Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Children can put batteries in their mouth and swallow them. This can cause severe harm to their health. In this case, consult a physician immediately!
  • Normal batteries must not be recharged, heated or thrown into open flame (danger of explosion!).
  • Always replace all batteries at the same time, use batteries of the same type, and do not use re

chargeable batteries.

  • Leaking batteries may damage the device. If you do not intend to use the device for longer peri

ods, remove the batteries from the battery compartment.11

  • If present, pull the battery insulating strip off the battery compartment cover or remove the bat- tery’s protective film and insert the battery according to the polarity.
  • The batteries are located in the mirror. Turn the normal side of the mirror anti-clockwise and re

move the cover from the mirror. Then open the battery compartment lid. Now you can remove the plastic insulating strip or change the batteries.

  • Check the device for damage.
  • The standard side or the magnified side of the mirror can be used. Simply rotate the mirror to the required side. The light can be switched on and off with the button in the base. Wall fastening:
  • To secure on the wall, the screws on the front of the wall bracket must first be removed.
  • Now remove the wall bracket and attach it to the wall using the assembly kit provided (4 screws, 4 wall plugs).
  • First mark the desired position on the wall and drill 4 holes at the appropriate intervals.
  • Insert the wall plugs. Then attach the wall bracket, by screwing the screws into the wall plugs.
  • Now attach the mirror to the wall by fixing the screws to the front of the wall bracket.
  • If necessary, you can remove the mirror from the wall bracket by turning the screw on the stand. Retain this (ideally attach the screw to the wall bracket immediately) so that the mirror can be at

tached to the wall bracket again if desired.

7. Cleaning and maintenance

  • Switch off the device each time before cleaning.
  • First unplug the device and allow it to cool off. Then you can clean it with a soft, slightly moistened cloth. Then wipe it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Only clean the appliance in the manner specified. Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the device or accessories.
  • Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
  • Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes.12

11. Warranty/Service

Beurer GmbH,Söflinger Straße 218, 89077 Ulm, Germany (hereinafter referred to as “Beurer”) pro- vides a warranty for this product, subject to the requirements below and to the extent described as follows. The warranty conditions below shall not aect the seller’s statutory warranty obligations which ensue from the sales agreement with the buyer. The warranty shall apply without prejudice to any mandatory statutory provisions on liability. Beurer guarantees the perfect functionality and completeness of this product.13 Subject to errors and changes The worldwide warranty period is 3 years, commencing from the purchase of the new, unused prod- uct from the seller. The warranty only applies to products purchased by the buyer as a consumer and used exclusively for personal purposes in the context of domestic use. German law shall apply. During the warranty period, should this product prove to be incomplete or defective in functionality in accordance with the following provisions, Beurer shall carry out a repair or a replacement delivery free of charge, in accordance with these warranty conditions. If the buyer wishes to make a warranty claim, they should approach their local retailer in the first instance: see the attached “International Service” list of service addresses. The buyer will then receive further information about the processing of the warranty claim, e.g. where they can send the product and what documentation is required. A warranty claim shall only be considered if the buyer can provide Beurer, or an authorised Beurer partner, with – a copy of the invoice/purchase receipt, and – the original product. The following are explicitly excluded from this warranty: – deterioration due to normal use or consumption of the product; – accessories supplied with this product which are worn out or used up through proper use (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, cuffs, seals, electrodes, light sources, attachments and nebu

liser accessories); – products that are used, cleaned, stored or maintained improperly and/or contrary to the provi

sions of the instructions for use, as well as products that have been opened, repaired or modified by the buyer or by a service centre not authorised by Beurer; – damage that arises during transport between manufacturer and customer, or between service centre and customer; – products purchased as seconds or as used goods; – consequential damage arising from a fault in this product (however, in this case, claims may exist arising from product liability or other compulsory statutory liability provisions).
