ATTENTION! Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
- Use wood or heat resistant plastic cutlery to remove the Stroop waffle, otherwise the non-stick surface could be damaged.

Baking
- It is possible to set the browning level however you like after preheating. Select a lower setting for light Stroop waffles and a higher setting for darker Stroop waffles. The first Stroop waffle may not yet correspond exactly to the set baking level. Therefore, see how the next turns out before you adjust the controller level.
- First shape the dough into small, walnut-sized, evenly round balls. This is best done with flour-dusted hands.
- Place a ball in the centre of the lower baking plate and close the appliance.
- Press the appliance down briefly by the handle. This will distribute the dough evenly.

- When the baking process is finished, the red indicator light goes out and the green one lights up again.
- Please remove the finished Stroop waffle from the appliance immediately after the baking process is finished. Use a wooden fork to do this.
- Put the Stroop waffle on a plate.
- Carefully cut the still hot Stroop waffle horizontally with a sharp knife. This must be done very quickly, otherwise it will become hard and brittle.
- Spread any filling on the inside of each half and put them together like a sandwich.
