Step 1 Step 2 Place the nuts (15) into the recess on the bottom spacers (3). Insert the bottom spacers (3) into the watering unit (4). Screw the screws [M8 x 16] (13) into the watering unit (4). Place the holding plate (7) onto the watering unit (4). Step 3 Step 4 Insert the top spacers (2) and the nuts (15) into the recess on the LED hood (1). Screw the screws [M8 x 12] (14) into the LED hood (1). CAUTION! Make sure you used the short screws [M8 x 12] (14). Insert the top spacers (2) into the lower spacers (3). Secure the parts using the screws [M8 x 16] (13) and nuts (15).Parkside PPL 10 A1
Step 5 Step 6 Then place the pots (12) and their lids (5) into the holding plate (7). Fit the funnel (8) into the holder plate (7). The plant light is now ready fully assembled. You can secure the power cable (9) using the cable clip provided. The adhesive pad on the cable clip is not suitable for delicate surfaces.
The plant light only provides the necessary light for your plants. Make sure you provide the correct amount of nutrients and water, and ensure the ambient temperature is appropriate.
Use the screws [M8 x 16] (13) to fix the LED hood (1) to the spacers (2 and 3) at the lowest level if you are growing plants from seed. If you have larger plants or your seeds have already grown, you need to adjust the height of the LED hood (1) accordingly. Make sure that your plants do not touch the LED hood (1). Leave clearance of at least 5 cm to your plants. Remove the lids (5) from the pots (12) and fill them with soil (e.g. planting soil or potting compost). Now plant the seeds. Then place the lids (5) on the pots (12) to create the optimum growing conditions. The lids (5) are a little translucent to ensure your plants get sufficient light. As soon as your plants germinate or start touching the lids (5), you need to remove the lids (5). Do not repot the plants until the roots are strong enough. Make sure there are sufficient nutrients in the potting compost you select. Nitrogen and salts can hamper growth. The soil used should also be free of pathogens. The soil should not be too firm or too heavily compressed as this prevents the seedlings from forming roots. Note: You can also use seeding pellets or tabs to grow your plants. These are particularly good for growing herbs, flowers and vegetables. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the seeding pellets or tabs you use.Parkside PPL 10 A1 English - 29
Use the funnel (8) to fill the watering unit (4) with clean water. Make sure that the water level is between the “MIN” and “MAX” markings on the water level display (6). Check the water level from time to time and keep it between the “MIN” and “MAX“ markings. Please note that the water level also depends on the number of pots (12) used. The more pots (12) are in use, the more water is displaced.
