2.2 The MEDISANA MP 810 manicure/pedicure unit is easy to use and perfect for caring for your hands, feet and nails. It is particularly suitable for treating ingrown, thickened and very tough nails and also for treating calluses, rough skin and corns. It is also suitable for the cosmetic care of hands, nails and synthetic nails.
Special points concerning the MEDI-SANA- The sapphire heads have an extremely long life and virtually never wear out.

• Do not soften the skin on hands and feet prior to treatment.

3 Operating

3.1 Functions

WARNING Risk of injury! Excessively long or intensive treatment can injure deeper layers of skin.

On/off switch 2 Switch the device on by pushing the sliding switch 2 towards the mounting for the attachments. To switch the device off, push the switch 2 towards the base.

3.2 The purpose of application for the attachments (in sequence of the Pedicure illustration):

Creaming afterwards and regular care with the MEDISANA MP 810 contributes to well-cared for hands and feet with soft skin and firm nails with a stable structure.

3.3 Inserting/ replacing batteries

1. Twist the cover until you hear a clear clicking sound, and pull the cover downwards and off.

2. If required, remove the used batteries and insert the new batteries ( 2 × 1,5V AAA). The correct alignment of the batteries is indicated in the battery compartment.

3. Slide the cover back onto the device. Twist the cover to close the battery compartments securely. The adjoining illustration shows the device when closed.

4.1 Cleaning and maintenance

• Clean the unit with a soft cloth which has been lightly moistened with a mild soap. Never dip the unit into water for cleaning and ensure that no water gets into the unit at any time. Only use the unit again, when it is fully dry.

• For hygiene reasons, all attachments may be cleaned with a brush (e.g. old toothbrush). It is also advisable to disinfect the grinding surfaces with commercially available spray disinfectant or 90% alcohol to prevent the transmission of infections. The pins of the attachments should be kept free from grease. First allow the heads to dry off completely before you use them again on the unit.
