How to use the Trisa Quick Boil kettle?

Fill with cold water, close the lid, place on the base and plug in. Press the switch to heat. The automatic shut-off turns off the appliance after boiling. Never operate empty and do not exceed the maximum capacity.

How to clean the outside of the kettle?

Unplug and let it cool. Wipe with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Never immerse the kettle in water to avoid short circuits.

How to descale the kettle?

Use a commercial descaler or diluted white vinegar (1/3 vinegar, 2/3 water). Bring to a boil, let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse several times with clear water. Repeat regularly depending on water hardness.

What to do if the kettle does not turn on?

Check that the base is properly plugged in and that the kettle is correctly positioned on the base. Make sure the switch is in the on position. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Why does the kettle stop before boiling?

This may be due to a faulty overheat protection if the appliance operated empty or with too little water. Let it cool, then reuse with enough water (minimum 0.5 L).

Can I open the lid during operation?

No, this poses a risk of burns from splashing boiling water. Wait for the automatic shut-off and let the appliance cool before opening the lid.

How to store the power cord?

Under the base, there is a cord winder. Wind the cord around the provided pegs to prevent it from dangling. Never wind the cord around the appliance.

What is the maximum water capacity?

The maximum capacity is approximately 1.7 liters. Do not exceed the indicated level to avoid overflow during boiling.

Can the kettle be used on stovetops?

No, this kettle is exclusively electric and must be used on its dedicated base. Never place it on a stove or over a flame.

How to replace the anti-scale filter?

The anti-scale filter is removable. Open the lid, pull the filter gently to remove it. Clean it under running water or replace it with a new one. Ensure it is properly in place before each use.

Instructions for use

• Mains connection: The voltage must comply with that shown on the appliance label.
• Never pull on the mains cable / with damp hands. Disconnect mains plug in case of faults during use, prior to cleaning, relocation, after use. The plug must be within reach at all times.
• Regular check if the power cable / appliance / extension lead is defective. Never switch on damaged appliances (incl. mains lead) – have repairs carried out / obtain replacement from the manufacturer, the manufacturer's service point or from qualified experts. Never open the appliance yourself – risk of injury!
• Never carry or pull the appliance by the flex. Don't pull the flex over sharp edges. Don't wedge it. Don't bend it. A short circuit can occur if the cable breaks.
• Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the mains when it is not in use. Don't wind the flex around the appliance.
• Never immerse appliance in water / other fluids. Danger of short-circuiting!
• Do not use this appliance near the water (bath-tubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain or other humidity. Ensure hands are dry when using appliance!
• Should however the appliance fall into water, only take it out after pulling the plug. Do not use the appliance anymore. It has to be checked by an authorized service department first.
