→ Figure N
- Install the prepared attachment obliquely onto the drive of the main unit.
- Turn the attachment clockwise until it locks with a click. Tighten the screw ring.
- Install the loading chute and insert the pusher into the loading tube.
- Prepare the fruits for processing. Large fruits should be cut into pieces so that they fit into the loading tube without pressing. Remove large pits (for example, from cherries, plums).
Place containers under the openings for juice and pulp. Load the prepared fruits into the loading chute.
- Plug the power cord into the outlet. Turn on the appliance.
- Lightly press the pusher, pushing the fruits into the loading tube.
- The squeezed juice flows through the outlet spout. The fruit pulp (solid components) is expelled through the head for the discharge of pomace.
- Adjust the head for the discharge of pomace. When it is unscrewed, the pulp becomes more moist; when screwed in, it becomes drier, and more juice flows out of the spout. If the pulp is too dry, unscrew the head so that the appliance does not clog with fruit pulp.
- After finishing the work, turn off the appliance and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
- Remove the loading chute and the pusher. 11. Holding the attachment, turn it counterclockwise to release it.
Remove the attachment, disassemble it and clean all parts. → "Care and daily cleaning" see p. 238 12. DISASSEMBLE THE STRAINER: HOOK THE HOOK INTO THE OPENING OF THE STRAINER AND CAREFULLY PULL OUT THE STRAINER.
Caution!

Danger of injury!
Risk of injury!
Do not touch the sharp blades and edges of the attachments for chopping and cutting with your hands. Use a brush for cleaning.
Caution!
- Metal parts must not be washed in a dishwasher! Do not use aggressive cleaning agents containing alcohol or spirits. Do not use metal or sharp-edged objects, as well as objects with sharp edges.
- Do not use coarse cloth or abrasive cleaning agents.
The figure shows how to clean the individual parts of the appliance.
■ Wipe the main unit housing with a damp cloth and dry it. Disassemble the used attachments in reverse order (see section "Preparation" for the corresponding attachment). Clean all accessories with a mild detergent solution and a soft cloth/sponge or soft brush. ■ Allow all parts to dry.
- Metal parts should be wiped dry immediately and lubricated with a thin layer of vegetable oil to prevent rust. During processing, for example, carrots, a light coating may appear on plastic parts. It can be removed with a few drops of vegetable oil.
Recipes
Note (MFW3X...):
For all operations, set the speed mode to 2 (fast).
Bread dumplings
300 g of stale white bread, 20 ml of milk, 40 g of butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion, parsley, a pinch of salt and pepper
Cut the bread into slices 10 mm thick and cut in half lengthwise. Pour 20 ml of milk and let it soak. Soaked bread slices process in the food processor (chopping disc with medium holes) for approx. 60 seconds. Add finely chopped onion, parsley, melted butter and mix. Beat eggs, salt and pepper and add to the bread mixture. Let the dough rest for a few minutes. Then knead again. Shape dumplings with hands well moistened with water. Roll the dumplings in flour. Drop the dumplings into boiling water and leave them in the water over low heat for about 20 minutes. Do not let them boil!
Tips
Food processor
Use of chopping discs
- Chopping disc with fine holes (2.7 mm): boiled chicken, pork, beef, boiled liver, boiled fish for soups; raw pork and beef for minced meat rolls; raw liver, meat and lard for liver sausage; pork for raw smoked sausage
- Chopping disc with medium holes (4 mm):
Pork and beef for pâté and meatballs
- Chopping disc with coarse holes (8 mm):
Place the cooked food in a blender or food processor; leftovers (for example, roast, sausage) can be used for baking with leftovers.
If you need a finer consistency of processed products, repeat the chopping process or use different grinding discs sequentially (with large, medium, small holes). ■ Ingredients (for example, onions, garlic) can be added directly during processing. This way all ingredients are well mixed.
Sausages and wieners
Before processing, soak the natural sausage casing in warm water for about 10 minutes. Do not fill the casing too tightly, otherwise the sausages may burst during cooking or frying.
Shredding attachment
Caution! (MFW3X...)
For the shredding attachment, it is mandatory to use speed level 1 (slow). - For the grating attachment, use speed level 2 (fast).
→ "Speed setting" see page 231
Using the attachments
Shredding attachment: for carrots, celery, cabbage, zucchini. Grating attachment (coarse): for carrots, nuts, hard cheese (e.g., Emmental).
Grating attachment (fine): for accompanying documents.
For nuts, hard cheese, parmesan. Grater attachment: for potatoes, parmesan, nuts.
Mill attachment
- Do not grind oily products to a very fine consistency. The grinder may clog or jam. - For grinding coarse grains, such as oats or spelled, select the coarse grinding setting.
- The grinder should be thoroughly cleaned if you start grinding a different product. This will help avoid absorbing the smell of the previous product.
