1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this material before using this product. Failure to do so can result in serious injury. KEEP THIS MANUAL. When giving this machine to third parties, always include this manual. We do not accept any liabilities for accidents or damages that result from misuse. Removal/Alteration of any safety devices or of the machine in general will result in the loss of warranty. The buyer assumes all risk and liability arising out of his or her repairs/alterations to the original product or replacement parts thereto, or arising out of his or her installation of replacement parts thereto.
Always keep your work area well lit, clean and free of obstacles.
Do not use the product in the vicinity of ignition sources.
- Keep children away from your work area.
Avoid contact with grounded surfaces (eg. pipes, radiators, etc.) to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Do not use the product in moist or wet areas.
Always use propper personal protection equipment (eye-protection, gloves, etc.).
Do not wear loose clothing, jewellery or any other accessory that might get caught in the machine.
If you have long hair, wear a hair-net.
Always disconnect the powercord when doing maintenance work.
Never leave the product unattended when children are present.
Check the product for any sign of damage each time before you use it.
■ Do not attempt to repair the product when it is damaged! Repair work must only be done by authorized, qualified service technicians.
Only use discs that can withstand the max. rpm of the angle grinder.
Only use discs that with the correct diameter (115/125 mm)
Make sure the grinding disc is mounted correctly.
■ Do not use reducing rings or adapters to compensate for wrong diameter discs.
- Do not use the machine to cut materials that are thicker than the max. cutting depth of the cutting discs
Do not use cutting discs for deburring.
Check the discs thoroughly before each use - never use damaged discs!
- Check the machine before each use. Let it run for 30 seconds without load. If it starts to vibrate use another disc. Do not use the machine if the problem persists. Repairs must be performed by authorized professionals only.
Do not touch rotating discs.
- When using discs that have a thread, it must be deep enough to take the full length of the machine's spindle.
Make sure the ventilation slots on the back of the machine are clean and unobstructed. Always disconnect the machine from the power supply when cleaning the ventilation slots.
Never use water for grinding/cutting with an angle grinder - mortal danger!
Always use the protective cover (5)!

3. DESIGNATED USE
The angle grinder is designed for dry cutting and dry grinding of materials like stone or metal with suitable cutting/grinding discs. Any other use is prohibited. The buyer accepts all liabilities, legal and otherwise, for any damage or injury resulting from improper use of the product (i.e. any other use than the above stated designated use).

7. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INITIAL OPERATION
Check the voltage on the type sticker of the machine. The voltage of your power supply must not deviate more than 10% from the indicated voltage.
8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
The angle grinder is equipped with a safety switch that prevents unintentional operation of the machine. To switch the machine on, push the switch down and forward until it locks.
To switch the machine off, push the switch down and pull it backwards.
When using flat or depressed center grinding discs see image A for correct assembly.
When using depressed center cutting discs see image B for correct assembly.
When using flat center cutting discs see image C for correct assembly.
Note the different alignment of the lower flange piece (X) in the above images.
To change the discs first disconnect the machine from the power supply.
Press the spindle lock button (1) and turn the spindle until it locks.
Open the flange (4) with the spanner that comes with the machine.
Remove the flange piece (X)
Put the disc on the spindle.
Make sure that the inner diameter of the disc is the correct size. Never use reducing rings or adapters if the inner diameter of the disc is too large - use a different disc instead!
■ Firmly screw the flange piece back on the spindle thread. Depending on the thickness and type of disc you are using, the flange piece must be oriented accordingly (see images A, B and C)
Release the spindle lock button.
- Let the machine run for 30 seconds without load (i.e. without cutting or grinding anything) to make sure the disc rotates smoothly without any vibration.
Replace the cutting or grinding discs when they are worn down or damaged.
Always use the correct disc-type for the given application/material - never use cutting discs for scrubbing!
■ When scrubbing, an angle of about 30 - 40^ usually works best.
When cutting, make sure to move the disc in a straight line to keep it from jamming.
CAUTION: Do not work on materials that contain asbestos!
9. SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT PARTS
Worn down carbon brushes must be replaced by an authorized professional.
Keep the ventilation slits on the back of the machine clean and unobstructed at all times.
Use original spare parts only.
10. WARRANTY

11. DISPOSAL
Our products are packed in order to prevent damage during transport. Packing materials are valuable resources and therefore can and should be recycled. The product itself consists of various materials (metals, oils, plastic, etc.) and should be disposed with care and in accordance with your federal and local disposal regulations.
