Frequently Asked Questions - CCC 60N CANDY

What is the minimum distance between the hood and the hob?
For a gas or electric cooker, the minimum distance is 70 cm. For a coal or oil cooker, it is 80 cm.
How to clean the metal grease filter?
Clean the filter every month using household detergent or warm soapy water. Never use metal brushes or abrasive products.
How often should the charcoal filter be replaced?
The active charcoal filter must be replaced once a year, depending on the frequency of use of the hood.
What to do if the hood stops working?
First check if the LED bulb is burnt out (replace it with a 2.5 W one). If the fan does not spin, the blade may be stuck or the motor damaged. Cut off the power and contact a professional.
How to replace the hood bulb?
Cut off the power supply and wait for the bulb to cool down. Remove the grease filters, then replace the bulb with a LED 2.5 W bulb of the same type.
Can I use the hood without a charcoal filter?
Yes, if the hood is installed in external extraction mode (with duct). The charcoal filter is only necessary for recirculation mode.
How to install the hood in recirculation mode?
If you do not have an external outlet, install the provided active charcoal filters. The exhaust hose is not used. Follow the installation instructions for mounting.
Can the hood be installed above a gas cooker?
Yes, provided a minimum distance of 70 cm is maintained between the cooking surface and the bottom of the hood.
What to do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the appliance. Have the cord replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a qualified electrician to avoid any risk.
How to reduce the environmental impact of the hood?
Clean the filters regularly to avoid clogging, turn off the light and motor after cooking, and recycle the appliance at the end of its life at an approved collection point.
